Laika heard Gaino's words and brought the spaceship closer to Planet Slug.
Gaino flew out of the spaceship and extended his right index finger. A terrifying ball of energy appeared at its tip.
Seeing this, Bardock said, "The king looks just like Frieza did when he destroyed Planet Vegeta. Is he going to destroy Planet Slug outright?"
"Don't worry! Gaino won't go too far. He won't destroy Planet Slug outright. This planet is still very useful to him."
Gaino lowered his index finger slightly, and the enormous energy ball hurtled toward Planet Slug.
The instant the energy blast struck the planet, a tremendous explosion erupted across its surface. A powerful current of air swept toward Gaino and his spaceship. Inside, Laiya and the others felt the ship shudder violently under the impact.
Gaino, on the other hand, remained perfectly still despite the powerful gusts. Watching his figure, Bardock murmured, "Just how powerful is the king now? He didn't move an inch in the face of such a powerful blast of air."
Laiya said, "I don't know. All I know is that when I use my strongest energy attack, Gaino can smash it apart with a single punch. I'm sure my energy attack could easily destroy a planet."
Broly said gravely, "I can feel the enormous energy inside Gaino. It has tremendous destructive power. Compared to him, the power inside me is nothing."
Gaino's energy blast had destroyed a fifth of Planet Slug. A powerful aura suddenly erupted from the planet, followed by an angry roar. "Who dares attack my Planet Slug?"
Slug quickly flew toward Gaino. When he saw him, Slug said, "You did this? You destroyed my Planet Slug?"
"I did. You've got quite a lot of life in you. I can't believe an attack that powerful didn't kill you."
"Slug, I came here specifically to find you."
Hearing Gaino call him by name, Slug said, "You know me? I don't recognize you at all."

As he spoke, Gaino immediately used Time Skip. In the briefest moment, he landed dozens of punches, sending Slug flying straight into a mountain on Planet Slug. Slug's body sank into the mountainside.
"What happened? Did the king attack just now? How did Slug go flying all by himself?" Bardock asked.
"Yes. Gaino has already attacked, but with our current strength, we can't see the direction or speed of his blows."

Slug's body suddenly flared with energy, blasting away the rubble burying him. He charged toward Gaino and said, "I remember now! You're the kid who was with that girl surrounded by a golden aura."

Gaino said, "We don't get many chances to see something so amazing. Now that we finally have the chance to witness King Slug's ultimate weapon, of course we want to see it right away. Pfft! Gaino, Laiya, and Bardock couldn't hold back and burst out laughing.
"I never thought Broly would make fun of someone's face. Broly, you're hilarious!" Laiya said.
"Why are you laughing? Am I wrong? Isn't that uncle's face green?"
"Look at him. He must be furious right now, but his face still hasn't gone red. That just proves his skin is too thick. His anger doesn't even show on his face."
"Hahahaha!" Broly spoke with such conviction and made such a good case, all while wearing an innocent expression, that Gaino and the others laughed even louder.
"Damn you! How dare you make a joke out of King Slug! This is outrageous!" Slug flew into a rage and charged at Broly.
Laiya quickly stepped in and blocked Slug's attack. "If you want to fight, then I'll fight you."
As she spoke, Laiya's aura flared, and she transformed into a Super Saiyan.
