Laiya blocked Slug's attack, grabbed him, and hurled him away.
She quickly appeared in front of Slug and powered up, transforming directly into a Super Saiyan. A warrior radiating golden energy stood before Broly and Bardock, his hair standing on end and turning golden, his eyebrows golden, his eyes pale green, and his expression icy.
Seeing Laiya transform into a Super Saiyan, Broly and Bardock grew extremely excited. "So this is what a Super Saiyan looks like after completing the transformation."
"That's right. This is a Super Saiyan. You'll be able to transform like this one day too, but first, your base power must be high enough. Then the cells in your body have to turn into S-Cells. Add anger to that, and you can become a Super Saiyan."
When Slug saw Laiya turn into a Super Saiyan, fear showed on his face. Laiya was far too powerful in this form. The first time she transformed into a Super Saiyan, one punch had severely injured him. It had taken him three months just to recover after returning to Planet Slug.
Once bitten by a snake, twice shy, huh? Laiya in this form was Slug's worst nightmare.
But Slug soon regained his composure. Laiya was indeed powerful, but he had also been training hard over the past few months, and his own battle power had increased considerably.

Hearing Laiya say that, Broly couldn't help shrinking his neck. "Slug's in for a world of trouble."
As Broly spoke, Laiya had already charged at Slug. She quickly reached him and punched toward his face.
Her punch sent ripples through the air from the force of its pressure.
Seeing Laiya's fist hurtling toward him, Slug immediately fled into the distance.
Huh? What's going on? Didn't he say he was going to die fighting? How could he do this?
Gaino and the others lowered their heads at Slug's actions. Bardock said, "Is this really the same emperor of the universe who was as famous as Frieza? Why is he running without a fight?"
"This is the intimidation that comes from strength. Back when we were weak, these people could bully us however they wanted. Now the tables have turned, and we're strong enough to toy with them. Strength is what matters most."
Seeing Slug trying to escape, Laiya said, "You think you can run from me? Brother Gaino said I could have some fun, and how can I have fun if you run away?"
Laiya pointed two fingers at her forehead and used Instant Transmission to appear in front of Slug.
Seeing Laiya suddenly appear, Slug was shocked. What kind of technique is this? How did she get in front of me in an instant?
Slug hurriedly turned around, but Laiya kicked him hard, sending him crashing onto Planet Slug.
The surface of Planet Slug split apart. "Sister Laiya really put all her strength into that kick! It hurts just watching. I wonder if Slug's in pain," Broly said.
"Come on," Gaino said. "Let's go to Planet Slug, or we'll miss the good part of the fight."
"Argh! Damn it!"
"You think I'm made of clay, King Slug?" Slug powered up and rushed toward Laiya, unleashing a furious barrage of attacks.
Laiya held out her palm and blocked every one of Slug's attacks. Suddenly, an energy ball appeared in Slug's hand, and he hurled it fiercely at her.
Laiya slapped the energy ball away, then reached Slug and swept out with her leg. Slug hurriedly raised his arm to block, but with a crack, the immense force of Laiya's kick fractured his arm.
Slug cried out, and a scream burst from his mouth.
Slug quickly put some distance between himself and Laiya.
He clutched his left arm with his right hand. The pain made cold sweat break out across his face.
But Laiya wasn't about to let such a good opportunity slip by. Strike while he's down.
Rat-a-tat-tat!
Laiya instantly fired dozens of energy balls at Slug.
Slug dodged Laiya's energy blasts. Seizing her chance, Laiya appeared behind him again and slammed an elbow into his body.
Slug's body shot into the distance like a meteor.
Rumble!
Slug slammed into a mountain, and the force of the impact tore straight through it. His body burst through the mountain and kept sliding onward.
At last, he crashed into the ground on Planet Slug. With a boom, a huge crater appeared in the surface.
Slug lay in the crater, panting heavily, his body pinning his left arm beneath him. The pain made him suck in a sharp breath.
"Damn it! She's even stronger than before. What kind of monster is she? Every time we fight, she gets stronger, and her battle power has increased so much."
"I trained hard after returning to Planet Slug last time, but I still couldn't withstand even one move from her."
Laiya slowly floated in front of Slug. He raised his head to look at her and said, "What do you want? Why don't you just kill me and be done with it?"
"If you're not going to kill me, then stop putting me through this torment. This is worse than death."
"If Brother Gaino hadn't told me to spare your life, I would've killed you already," Laiya said.
Gaino then came to stand before Slug. "Slug, I'll give you two choices. First, submit to me. Second, die."
"Well? I'm being quite merciful. A demon like you ought to go straight to hell, but I'm giving you a chance to turn over a new leaf. If you choose to submit to me, you'll have to be absolutely loyal."
"If you choose death, I'll send you to hell right now." As he spoke, Gaino quickly formed a gigantic energy ball in his hand. Slug could sense its immense destructive power. He believed Gaino wouldn't hesitate to kill him if he chose death.
Slug thought it over and decided to submit. As long as he stayed alive, he would have a chance. Staying alive was what mattered most.
Slug bowed to Gaino and said, "From this day on, I, Slug, will serve you, Lord Gaino."
