Laiya is Injured

Laiya finished off the remaining people in just a few moves. Gaino said, "Alright, Laiya, it's time we went to find the real target."

"Okay, Brother Gaino, let's hurry!"

With that, Gaino and Laiya flew rapidly toward a specific location. Their power level detectors indicated a Radian with a combat power exceeding ten thousand.

Before long, they arrived at the spot.

Gaino looked down at the area. It appeared that a castle had been built there. The structure was very crude, much like the dwellings of their own Saiyan race.

Laiya remarked, "The people of this planet sure know how to enjoy themselves, don't they?"

"I suspect the people of this planet are just like us Saiyans, ruled by a king. Do you see that, Laiya? There are guards at the castle. Doesn't it look just like King Vegeta's castle?"

"Now that you mention it, it really does!" Laiya replied.

"Well, in that case, let's get to work!" As he spoke, an energy blast formed in Gaino's palm. Just as he was about to throw it, Laiya stopped him.

Laiya said, "Your combat power is so high that if you let that go, there won't be anything left of the people inside. What fun would that be? Let me handle it!"

"Fine, go ahead." Gaino ceased his movement.

Laiya threw an energy blast directly. With a loud boom, the castle below was reduced to ruins by her attack.

Gaino and Laiya hovered in the air, watching the soot-covered figures emerging from the wreckage.

These Radians who could survive such an energy wave must be the top combatants of this planet.

Just then, the King of Lade Star shot out from the ruins and flew rapidly to stand before Gaino and Laiya.

His expression was nearly twisted, and he said furiously, "You two outsiders, you're still alive! I thought my personal guards would have finished you off!"

Gaino said, "You're overthinking it. Don't dream that a few pieces of trash like yours could take us down."

"Very well. Since you aren't dead, I shall finish you off myself."

Gaino said, "Laiya, leave this guy to me. You take care of the others."

Laiya replied, "No, I want to fight him. The others don't interest me at all. You can have those losers."

Gaino was about to speak, but Laiya had already charged toward the King of Lade Star. Gaino hurriedly shouted, "Laiya, be careful!"

But Laiya and the King of Lade Star were already locked in combat.

The King of Lade Star's followers tried to rush over to help, but Gaino blocked them. "Don't you dare interrupt their fight!"

One of the Radians said, "Who do you think you are? Get lost, or we'll kill you."

"I like that answer," Gaino said.

This response left the Radians in front of Gaino bewildered. What does he mean?

"I mean exactly what I said. I'll just kill you all directly; why bother saying so much?" A Radian laughed out loud. "Hahahaha, did you hear that? This guy actually wants to kill us."

"Hey, kid, is something wrong with your brain? We said we were going to kill you, yet you're talking about killing us."

Gaino asked, "Is there a problem with that?"

"Stop dreaming. A kid who hasn't even grown his hair out wants to kill us? It's hilarious."

"Sigh, why do you always judge someone's combat power by their age? I remember the last person who said that to me is already dead, so you'd better just go die obediently."

Gaino's body moved at extreme speed, appearing before them in the blink of an eye. So fast! When? While they were still stunned, Gaino's fists had already made contact with their bodies.

The group was sent flying backward at high speed, crashing through the city wall behind them.

Gaino seized the opening and appeared right in front of them, blasting them with several energy spheres. Then, he flew toward the site of Laiya's battle.

Moments later, the sound of explosions rang out, and those Radians were wiped out in the blast.

With those Radians dealt with by Gaino, the King of Lade Star noticed the situation and was momentarily distracted.

Laiya seized the opportunity, quickly appearing above the King of Lade Star. Clasping her hands together, she delivered a hammer blow that drove him into the ground.

"You dare to lose focus while fighting me? You're truly courting death." She immediately fired several large energy blasts into the crater.

Boom!

Boom! Boom! The sounds echoed. The King of Lade Star in the crater was covered in soot, but it was clear that the attack hadn't finished him off.

Laiya panted, "You're still alive after that? You've got quite a life in you."

The King of Lade Star was incensed. "Bastard! I will kill you both! You two are unforgivable!"

The King of Lade Star then powered up. Seeing his energy surge, Gaino shouted, "Laiya, get out of the way!"

Gaino rushed toward Laiya at top speed, but before she could process his warning, the King of Lade Star's attack arrived, a massive fist slamming toward her.

Laiya hurriedly crossed her arms to block, but the King of Lade Star's power was too overwhelming. She was sent flying by the punch, crashing through a wall behind her and spitting out blood.

The King of Lade Star moved to follow up with another punch, but Gaino appeared in front of Laiya, catching the powerful fist with his bare palm. Seeing his attack blocked so easily, the King of Lade Star felt a desire to retreat.

But would Gaino let him leave so easily? Gaino gripped the King's fist tightly. The King of Lade Star pulled with all his might, but Gaino didn't budge an inch.

"What's wrong? You want to run after hurting someone? Let me return the favor!" Gaino held the King's fist with his right hand, balled his left hand into a fist, and slammed it into the King's stomach. The King of Lade Star vomited bile from the impact, his eyes bulging as colorless fluid spilled from his mouth.

"Not bad, you managed to take a punch. Now, try to handle this." Gaino pulled the King of Lade Star's body in, raised his right knee, and sent him flying with a knee strike.

The King of Lade Star's body traced an arc through the air, blood spraying from his mouth as he flew.

Gaino turned around and said to Laiya, "How about that? I told you to be careful, and now you've suffered for it, haven't you?"

Laiya winced and bared her teeth, saying, "I was just careless this time. I didn't expect that guy's ki to surge so much all of a sudden."

"Remember this lesson today, Laiya. You can never afford to be soft-hearted when dealing with an enemy."

"Mm, I know," Laiya replied.

"Good. Let me see if that guy is dead yet." Gaino walked over to King of Lade Star. Looking down at the dying King of Lade Star, Gaino fired a single ki blast to send him straight to hell.

"That's that finished. Let's see if there are any other natives left." Gaino activated his energy detector and discovered that there were no longer any energy readings on the planet, which meant that his and Laiya's mission was complete.

Gaino walked over to Laiya, picked her up, and said, "You focus on healing your injuries first! Once you've recovered, I'll take you to a great place."

"Really? Where to?" Laiya asked.

"To Earth," Gaino said.
