Gaino replied, "Earth is located in the distant North Galaxy, at coordinates 4032-Green-877. It is a low-level planet with no real value, which is why Frieza never bothered to send us to conquer it."

"Ah, a low-level planet? Then why are we going there? Can our strength even increase on a planet like that?"

"Of course it can, Laiya. Don't underestimate this low-level planet. The martial arts masters there have refined their control of ki to a state of perfection. We Saiyans are too barbaric in our training; we cannot push our manipulation of ki to the pinnacle, which is incredibly draining on our stamina. That is why we must learn to control the ki within us."

"Fine! Since Brother Gaino says so, once my injuries are healed, we shall head to Earth!"

Gaino replied, "Back home, we had Mom and Dad to cook. Why would I bother?"

As he spoke, Gaino tore off a large piece of fish and brought it to Laiya. "Try the fish I roasted. It's my first time, so I'm not sure how it tastes."

Laiya didn't care about the details; she opened her mouth and took a huge bite, too hungry to worry about anything else.

Her mouth filled with fish, and after just one bite, Laiya exclaimed, "It's delicious! I never thought Brother Gaino's roasted fish would taste this good."

Seeing how much Laiya was enjoying it, Gaino tore off a large piece for himself and shoved it into his mouth. "It's alright, it passes," he mumbled, though his hands moved at a relentless pace.

In no time at all, Gaino and Laiya had polished off the giant fish. They lay on the ground, rubbing their full bellies.

"Ah, how comfortable. Aside from fighting, only good food can bring me such joy. It seems Saiyans have a real soft spot for eating."

Laiya agreed, "That's right! Being able to eat good food is truly a luxury!"

No sooner had she finished the sentence than Laiya's snoring began. Seeing that she was truly exhausted, Gaino picked her up, carried her into the cave, placed her in a resting spot, and stepped back outside.

Gaino looked up at the star-filled sky and muttered, "I must increase my strength quickly. My future opponents will only get stronger, and my current battle power isn't even a fraction of theirs."

Frieza, the Androids, Cell, the God of Destruction, and the Angels—these opponents were so powerful. Especially those at the level of the God of Destruction; they were cosmic-level threats.

In front of a God of Destruction, Frieza was nothing but a tiny insect, to be crushed at will.

As these thoughts crossed his mind, Gaino's hands involuntarily clenched into fists. Right, actions speak louder than words. Diligent training is the foundation.

Gaino checked his battle power and concluded, "Today's battle increased the ki within me, but not by much. It seems I must rely on combat to rapidly improve my battle power."

Gaino stood up and began his training, throwing punches and kicks, his body twisting and turning as he constantly adjusted his attacks in mid-air. He alternated between strikes, kicks, and knee strikes, his movements growing faster and faster until a gust of wind whipped up around him.

Gaino stopped his training, and the wind slowly dissipated along with his movements. His training had made enough noise to wake the sleeping Laiya.

Laiya walked out of the cave, rubbing her sleepy eyes. Seeing Gaino training, she asked, "Brother Gaino, why aren't you resting? Aren't you tired?"

"It's fine, I'm not very tired. You go back to sleep, Laiya!"

Laiya replied, "I've already slept enough. Since Brother Gaino is training, it won't do to have no opponent! Let me be your sparring partner!"

Before she even finished speaking, Laiya lunged at Gaino, throwing a punch toward his face. Gaino raised his palm and blocked her fist.

"Not bad. You've even learned to launch a sneak attack." Laiya laughed, "I learned that from you, Brother Gaino! How about it? Were you startled by my surprise attack?"

"You think you can startle me with that? Little sister Laiya, you still have a lot of training to do!" But before Gaino could finish, Laiya launched a side kick toward his waist. Gaino dodged the attack with a quick shift.

"Alright! If that's how it is, Laiya, then Brother Gaino is going to attack too!" Gaino lunged forward, his fist striking out instantly. Laiya saw the blow coming and hurriedly raised her arms to block, but the power radiating from Gaino's fist forced her to retreat.

Laiya leaned into her Saiyan fighting spirit and charged at Gaino. Suddenly, the sounds of combat filled the sky, white sonic booms appeared repeatedly, and the clashing of blows echoed incessantly.

After sparring for a while, the two stopped.

Gaino said, "Let's rest. That's enough training for today. We need to prepare to leave for Earth tomorrow!"

"Alright, let's rest then."

The next day, Gaino and Laiya boarded their spaceship, locked onto the coordinates for Earth, and set off.

The journey from Planet Rad to Earth would take six months. During this time, Laiya and Gaino could enter a state of hibernation. Once they reached Earth, the ship would alert them to wake up.

After six months of flight, they finally arrived at Earth. Opening the hatch, Laiya and Gaino stepped out. Looking at the planet before her, Laiya asked, "So this is Earth?"

She activated her energy detector and picked up a battle power of 5. Laiya said, "It really is a low-level planet; the battle power is only 5. Brother Gaino, where are these martial arts masters you spoke of?"

Gaino replied, "Follow me."

The moment Gaino and Laiya arrived on Earth, the Guardian sensed their presence, though he did not know their intentions.

Gaino and Laiya arrived on a small island and saw an old man with a bald head lounging comfortably under a beach umbrella, sunbathing.

Master Roshi also sensed Gaino's presence and immediately stood up, becoming alert, for he could sense a massive amount of ki emanating from Gaino.

Master Roshi asked, "Who are you, and what is your business here?"

Gaino said to Master Roshi, "We are Saiyans from space. We have come here to ask the master to teach us how to better utilize the ki within our bodies."

"Oh, so that's it?" Master Roshi replied.
