Background

Tang San enrolled at Notting Academy as a work-study student and was assigned to Dorm Seven alongside Huo Yuhao. When Wang Sheng tried to establish dominance over the newcomers, Tang San swiftly countered with an elbow strike and defeated him. 4

He became Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang’s disciple and possessed Twin Martial Souls: Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer. His father, Tang Hao, secretly monitored his development and instructed Grandmaster to keep Tang San close to Xiao Wu, whom Tang Hao considered an opportunity for his son. 12

Tang San’s early confidence was repeatedly damaged by Huo Yuhao’s superior strength. Huo defeated him decisively during their spar, leaving Tang San unconscious and shattering his confidence. 123 Tang Hao subsequently revealed himself as the Clear Sky Douluo, promised Tang San future support, and personally took him away for training. 124 129

Slaughter City and Corruption

After Tang Hao’s capture, Tang San accepted the Clear Sky Sect elders’ challenge to obtain Divine Slaughter’s Domain in Slaughter City. 191 195 He emerged a year later after a killing spree, having become increasingly abnormal and addicted to the power gained by absorbing others. 199 201

Rakshasa and the Abyss

Tang San sought godhood through Rakshasa’s power and allowed her divine soul to possess him. 290 When the Plane Lord betrayed Rakshasa, Tang San discovered that his neglected Blue Silver Emperor was his only ability capable of affecting the enemy, leading him to regret prioritizing the Clear Sky Hammer and poison-based development. 292
