Bayonetta had fallen unconscious because of five hundred years of chaotic memories, but it seemed that all of this had been part of the Sage Balder's plan. He reached out and gathered the Witch, who was still unconsciously releasing the power of the "Left Eye," into his arms. After the concrete shell on the outermost layer of the tower shattered and fell away, the tower's central core was revealed—a very obvious rocket structure, made entirely of metal. Perhaps because it had been built so long ago, clearly visible rivets lined the joints between the metal plates.

Enhanced by magic, this rocket manufactured by the Izawell Group possessed technology far beyond that of any other nation. Both its payload capacity and size dwarfed every other rocket in the world; however tall Isabelle Tower was, this rocket was just as tall. At its tip stood an enormous stone tableau utterly at odds with aerodynamics. Anyone with even a little common sense would never mount something like that atop a rocket. At the very center of the tableau stood a statue of Jubileus, the Creator, surrounded by countless beautiful Angels gazing down upon the mortal world from the clouds.

"Let us begin, Cereza." Holding Bayonetta in his arms, Balder flew toward the stone statue atop Isabelle Tower.

"The resurrection ritual of Jubileus, the Creator, is about to be complete." Balder rose to the highest point. With his back to the statue, the utterly mad man continued pouring his thoughts into the unconscious Bayonetta. "Cereza, we are the Eyes that observe the world. We are the Eyes that will witness the new world... the new reality... We shall devote ourselves to it forever."
