The Emperor’s forces closed the Aether portal, then launched an assault on Kamar-Taj to reach the impostor controlling the Sorcerer Supreme. The Emperor exposed Mordo’s mistaken ritual and defeated him, while Wanda arrived to find the courtyard cleared and Kamar-Taj’s people unharmed.

• Tita’s forces captured Priestess Phylira, and Victor von Doom used her soul to close the portal while the defenders fought off Aether creatures.
• The Emperor arrived at a mountain outpost and prepared an assault on Kamar-Taj, bringing Wanda Maximoff and giving Bayonetta authority over the base’s thermonuclear weapons.
• The Emperor weakened Kamar-Taj’s psionic shield with the gray Monolith, and his troops breached the gates and captured apprentices while Tatyana led the advance.
• The Emperor told Mordo that an impostor had taken the Sorcerer Supreme’s place and seized the Eye of Agamotto, but Mordo rejected his account and ordered the ascetics to sacrifice themselves.
• Wanda endured the Sea of Aether and learned from the ascetics’ memories as the Emperor’s forces battered the shield, which Tatyana eventually shattered with an explosive round.
• Mordo entered the Sea of Aether but found no trace of the Sorcerer Supreme, then prepared the ascetics for a ritual as the Emperor’s troops advanced into the Seventh Hub.
• The Emperor revealed that the crimson mirrors had sent the ascetics to Kathmandu rather than Saturn, and Amon knocked Mordo unconscious after the Emperor challenged his reliance on prophecy.
• Wanda reached the cleared courtyard and found Mordo unconscious as the crowd passed peacefully around her.

The Emperor freed Kamar-Taj’s Sorcerer Supreme from Dormammu’s corruption, then buried her and accepted her office amid preparations for a wider war. As Kamar-Taj mobilized and the Emperor pursued the threat surrounding the New Domain, his forces discovered that the approaching rescue ship could spread a dangerous signal back to Earth.

• Master Daniel recognized the Emperor’s authority over Kamar-Taj, while the Sorcerer Supreme warned him of Camelot’s fall and the cost of his path.
• Wanda Maximoff restored her memories, connected to Agamotto’s Planetary Defense System, and helped draw the Emperor back from the Sea of Aether.
• The Emperor confronted Dormammu in the Mirror Dimension, drove it from the Sorcerer Supreme’s body, and killed her at her request.
• The Emperor carried the Sorcerer Supreme’s body into Kamar-Taj’s catacombs, refused Athena’s laurel wreath, and sought the key to Agamotto’s Tomb.
• Athena crowned the Emperor as the new Sorcerer Supreme, while Kamar-Taj reorganized its forces and strengthened the Planetary Defense System.
• The Emperor ordered Kamar-Taj to prepare for war, sought allies against the Skrulls and cults, and learned that the Valiant’s crew would soon reach the New Domain.
• Constantine and the Imperial Guards identified a dangerous signal aboard the New Domain and warned that the approaching rescue ship could carry its effects back to Earth.

Tony Stark was drawn into a Houston attack and a struggle over Project Pegasus as Salomon prepared to confront a threat near Neptune. While the expedition approached the Event Horizon, Salomon reshaped political and military alliances on Earth and prepared to assume control of Kamar-Taj.

• Tony Stark agreed to help investigate the New Domain’s hyperspace engine, but Derrick Xian’s Sacred Guard attacked him and warned that The Valiant must not return to Earth.
• Derrick Xian’s forces infiltrated Houston Command Center, where Tony Stark confronted a bomber and tried to talk him out of detonating his explosives.
• The bomber destroyed Tony’s armor and injured him, and Nick Fury later recruited Tony to investigate Salomon and the classified mission to Neptune.
• Nick Fury and Bruce Banner pursued Project Pegasus records, while Tony accepted the Pentagon’s offer of Secretary of Defense on condition that he receive the old project files.
• The Punisher and the Lewis and Clark headed toward the contaminated Event Horizon, and Constantine ordered the rescue team to prioritize its hyperspace engine over saving Dr. Will.
• Salomon confronted Nick Fury at Project Pegasus, demanded Talos’s identity, and gave Agent Coulson’s team an observation mission.
• Salomon arranged for the Maliks to build a private security company using Stark Industries technology and Super Soldiers, while Gideon Malik and Stephanie Malik drew General Hale into the plan.
• Salomon took Wanda Maximoff to Kamar-Taj, explained the former Sorcerer Supreme’s sacrifice, and prepared to unite the Arcanists as he pursued his plans for Hydra and the Inhumans.

The Emperor’s forces pursued the Kree while Captain Miller and the Lewis and Clark crew were drawn into the Event Horizon, where an entity preyed on their fears. After the Emperor rescued the survivors across time, he recruited Miller to help build a future fleet and began establishing a base in the ancient past.

• The Emperor prepared to become Kamar-Taj’s Lord, secured the leaders’ agreement to punish Arcanists involved in the conflict, and departed to intercept a ship near Neptune.
• General Hale and Ruby met a Kree through the device, while Stephanie Malik’s troops seized the laboratory and captured Hale after the device revealed the Kree station’s location.
• The Emperor sent Tita’s battlecruisers to attack the Kree station and led the Praetorian Guard toward the Event Horizon after the Psionic Mist displaced the ships.
• Captain Miller and his crew boarded the Event Horizon, where Justin was pulled toward the hyperspace engine and the ship came alive with visions that exploited the crew’s fears.
• The Event Horizon entity drove the crew toward madness, killed Dr. Peters and Smith, and destroyed the Lewis and Clark before Miller sacrificed himself to separate the ship’s forward section from its Engine Room.
• The Emperor’s forces rescued Miller, Stark, Cooper, and Justin, and the Emperor explained that they had traveled through time and recruited Miller to train a space fleet.
• The Emperor took Miller’s caravan to around 6000 BC, where he arranged for children from local tribes to join Miller’s future crew and established the Garden of Eden.
