Overview

The Condensing Qi Realm follows the Blood-Marrow Realm and precedes the Channel-Opening Realm. Its defining feature is the construction and expansion of a dantian, which refines Qi-Blood into True Qi. A martial artist’s combat strength at this realm depends heavily on the amount, quality, and attributes of their True Qi. 35 56

A newly advanced martial artist typically possesses a dantian capable of holding 100 wisps of True Qi. Filling that capacity enables the first dantian expansion and entry into the early stage; ordinary cultivation then proceeds through repeated filling and expansion until 1,000 wisps are reached at Perfection. 35 56

The Vast Dantian Construction Method greatly raises these requirements and rewards. Its users begin with a 500-wisp capacity, reach 1,000 wisps at the early stage and 2,000 wisps at the mid-stage, and can ultimately hold 5,000 wisps at Perfection. 55 56 78 90

Dantian Construction

Dantian construction methods determine the size and properties of a cultivator’s dantian. High-quality methods can create larger dantians and confer special effects. 35 56

Martial artists who completed tendon tempering and bone forging twice can convert all of their True Qi to mid-grade at Condensing Qi Realm Perfection, while those who completed it three times have a chance to achieve high-grade True Qi. 58

Mu Yang’s initially unusual True Qi was identified as mid-grade True Qi. After constructing his dantian, newly generated low-grade True Qi was automatically compressed and assimilated into his existing mid-grade reserves. 58 78

High-grade True Qi is exceptionally difficult to create, as its refinement places substantial strain on the dantian and meridians. Mu Yang used the enhanced Crimson Blood Spirit Mushroom to purify 2,000 wisps of mid-grade True Qi into high-grade True Qi after reaching the late Condensing Qi Realm. 89 91
