Kakashi looked at Yeyu. If not for the Conqueror's Haki Yeyu had unleashed moments ago, he would have thought Yeyu was just bragging.

After using it once, Yeyu probably wouldn't be able to get out of bed the next day. It would drain all his chakra.
But seeing how excited Yeyu was, the Third Hokage could only tell him not to push himself and to try summoning First Rashomon first.
The three of them went to a Training Ground on the edge of Konoha.
The Training Ground was enormous, with a radius of dozens of kilometers.
Trees surrounded them as they stood in the Training Ground.
The Third Hokage and Kakashi stood a short distance behind Yeyu.
Both watched Yeyu's back with serious expressions.
They didn't dare speak, afraid they might distract him.
Yeyu, however, was perfectly calm.
He had already fully understood the Five-Fold Rashomon.
Standing on the grass, Yeyu bit his finger.
He smeared the blood across his palm.
Then he slapped both hands against the ground.
"Five-Fold Rashomon!"
Five-Fold Rashomon required Hand Seals, but someone sufficiently skilled—like the First—didn't need them.
Orochimaru needed Hand Seals, too.
Yeyu, naturally, didn't.
"Rumble!"
In an instant, five towering, demonic-faced Rashomon gates, each nearly a hundred meters tall, rose before Yeyu.
Enormous bells hung from either side of each gate.
They rang out with a series of clear chimes.
The five gates stood in the Training Ground like five towering mountains.
There was a hundred meters between each gate.
"Th-this... didn't he say he could only summon Triple Rashomon?" The Third Hokage pointed at the Five-Fold Rashomon in the distance, his face full of shock.
There was no need to count carefully. The towering structure was clearly made up of five enormous Rashomon gates.
Kakashi gazed up at the mountain-high gates in the distance.
For a long time, he was speechless.
After releasing the Five-Fold Rashomon, Yeyu looked it over and muttered, "It's pretty huge. But it consumes a lot of chakra, too. It used up a tenth of mine."
Yeyu already had an enormous amount of chakra, yet the jutsu had still consumed a tenth of it. That showed just how much chakra it required.
Even a Jonin wouldn't be able to use it. Their chakra would run out before they could summon it.
Orochimaru could only use Triple Rashomon as a trump card. The jutsu consumed far too much chakra.
The Third Hokage and Kakashi walked over to Yeyu.
In a grave tone, the Third Hokage said, "Yeyu, your chakra reserves and talent for ninjutsu are truly frightening."
He had learned it in just one night and already mastered an S-rank forbidden jutsu—one that required an enormous amount of chakra to use.
One could only imagine just how much chakra Yeyu had inside him.
Yeyu was even stronger than the Third Hokage had estimated.
Looking at the gates towering over a hundred meters high, the Third Hokage could almost see the birth of another First.
Kakashi couldn't believe his eyes, either. He'd never imagined anyone could unleash such a terrifying jutsu.
This wasn't an ordinary Earth Release jutsu.
It was a defensive tool with immense defensive power.

After watching for a while, Kakashi sighed in awe. "It truly lives up to its status as an S-rank jutsu. Ordinary ninjas simply can't use something like this."
"Just summoning such enormous defensive Rashomon gates requires far more chakra than an average Jonin can manage."
"Forget Jonin. Even an ordinary Kage Level fighter would struggle to use it."
"Orochimaru has mastered this jutsu, too, but with his chakra reserves, he can only summon Triple Rashomon."

"And the chakra required varies enormously depending on the size and number of gates summoned."
"To summon the complete Five-Fold Rashomon, the First needed as much chakra as an entire Kage Level fighter has."
Kakashi stared in shock. "Doesn't that mean Yeyu has at least Kage Level chakra reserves?"
The Third Hokage looked at Yeyu. "From what I can see, he has far more chakra than a single Kage Level fighter."
"He's only twelve, and already this frightening."
Yeyu admired the Five-Fold Rashomon for a little while before making it disappear.
Even though he'd used up a tenth of his chakra, he didn't feel unwell at all.
After all, it was only a tenth. For a ninja, that level of chakra consumption wasn't much of a burden.
Standing beside Yeyu, the Third Hokage said, "You were being modest earlier. You said you could only summon Triple Rashomon, but you went straight ahead and summoned Five-Fold Rashomon."
"Your chakra reserves are unbelievably vast, too."
The Third Hokage didn't know exactly how much chakra Yeyu had, but he knew that anyone who could summon the complete Five-Fold Rashomon and remain so calm afterward...

If the Third Hokage knew that Yeyu didn't have three times his chakra, but fifteen times as much, he wouldn't know what expression to make.
However, Yeyu mainly used Akainu's power, which meant that most of what he relied on was stamina.
He used very little chakra, by comparison.
So far, Yeyu had only mastered the Three Body Technique and Five-Fold Rashomon.
