Yeyu came out of the operating room without looking the least bit tired.
Kakashi walked over. "Yeyu, how did it go?"
"Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?"
This was Yeyu's first time performing surgery, and his first time using Medical Ninjutsu for so long.
Kakashi was worried something might have gone wrong.
Sakura watched Yeyu with concern, too.
Although Yeyu and Sakura didn't usually talk much,
she had spent a lot of time with him because of Sasuke.
Sasuke treated Yeyu as both his teacher and his friend, so naturally Sakura did the same.
Yeyu smiled. "I'm fine. Everything here has been taken care of. Kakashi-sensei, want to go take a look at the Hyuga Clan?"
Kakashi froze for a moment.
Then he realized what Yeyu meant. "You mean...?"
Yeyu smiled and left first.
Kakashi's gaze sharpened. "Yeyu, are you really going to do that?"
"You'll be going up against the entire Hyuga Clan."
Kakashi was worried Yeyu might cause serious trouble.
He was going to become Hokage someday.
What he didn't know was that Hiruzen supported Yeyu.
Even the two Hokage Advisors supported him.
They had long been fed up with the Hyuga Clan's Main Branch and Branch Family, too.
The Caged Bird Seal had turned the Hyuga Clan into a country within a country inside Konoha.
The village leadership had no way to direct the Hyuga Clan's ninja.
No other clan had rules as outrageous as the Hyuga Clan's.
But those rules also meant it wouldn't be as easy for Konoha to take action against the Hyuga Clan as it had been against the Uchiha Clan.
There were benefits and drawbacks.
But it was clear that the Branch Family ninja would rather risk the possibility of their clan being wiped out than continue living under the Main Branch's control.
