After leaving the Hokage Office, Temari asked Kakashi curiously as they walked, "Mr. Kakashi, I wonder what position Mr. Yeyu holds in your village?"
Kakashi thought for a moment. "Yeyu? He's the Hokage Assistant."
As for his position as Anbu Captain, Kakashi didn't mention it. He couldn't.
Temari looked puzzled. "An assistant?"
"But..."
Seeing her confusion, Kakashi explained, "You mean he doesn't seem like the sort of person who'd be a Hokage Assistant, right?"
Temari fell silent. That was exactly what she meant.
Kakashi thought for a moment. "Yeyu is just like Lord Kazekage in your village."
Temari paused, trying to work out what he meant.
Was Yeyu a Jinchuriki too?
That was impossible.
The Jinchuriki in Konoha wasn't Yeyu. The Nine-Tails Jinchuriki was that blond boy with whisker marks on his cheeks.
How could it be Yeyu? Konoha didn't have a second Tailed Beast.
So that was impossible.
Then what did Yeyu have in common with Gaara?
"What is Mr. Yeyu's relationship with the Third Hokage?"
Temari thought Yeyu might be related to the Third Hokage.
Kakashi was at a loss for words when he heard that.
Neji, who had been silent beside them, explained, "It means Yeyu is the person who will become Hokage in our Konoha one day."
That one sentence made it clear. It was just that Kakashi found it difficult to say something like that.
Neji, however, had no such reservations.
Temari was a little surprised, but not at all shocked.
"That makes sense. Mr. Yeyu really is strong."
"It's just that I haven't heard much about him over the years."
Yeyu kept a low profile even in Konoha, let alone among people from other villages.
Many ninja villages didn't even know he existed.
Kumogakure, Iwagakure, and Kirigakure knew nothing about Yeyu.
Otherwise, they wouldn't
