Hiruzen smiled. "So, what did you think of Kakashi's test?"
Yeyu sat back down. "You saw it yourself, didn't you?"
Hiruzen wasn't surprised.
"Was that also a technique you created yourself?"
Yeyu glanced at the documents in his hands and nodded absentmindedly.
"That's an impressive technique. I was wondering why you didn't choose any of the Five Nature Transformations."
"So you'd already developed it yourself."
Hiruzen wasn't surprised. Given Yeyu's talent, it wasn't strange that he'd created a few Fire Release techniques.
Since becoming the Hokage Assistant, Yeyu didn't have to go on missions like his classmates.
Whenever they came to the Hokage Office to accept a mission, they saw Yeyu there.
But even back at the Ninja Academy, Yeyu hadn't been close with them.
They'd barely spoken.
After a quiet stretch of time, Hiruzen asked Yeyu, "How many of those three techniques have you learned?"
It had already been over a month.
Yeyu was organizing documents when he paused.
Hiruzen hadn't asked about his progress in learning the techniques during that time.
He'd thought Hiruzen didn't care about it.
"I've mastered all of them."
He said it calmly.
This time, Hiruzen was the one who froze.
"You've mastered all of them?"
Yeyu nodded.
After asking him several times to make sure, Hiruzen was stunned. "You mean you've learned the Gate of the Great God and the Flying Thunder God Technique, too?"
Yeyu nodded. "Yes."
The next moment, Yeyu appeared behind Hiruzen.
Hiruzen's eyes widened. "You really did."
"But did you mark the technique formula nearby?"
Yeyu teleported back to his seat.
"No. I modified the Flying Thunder God Technique. At close range, I can use my sensory abilities to pinpoint a coordinate."
What he actually used was Observation Haki.
Yeyu's Observation Haki was at the highest level, with both great range and precision.
It let him pinpoint the coordinates for the Flying Thunder God Technique with exceptional accuracy.
As long as a location was within the range of Yeyu's Observation Haki, he could use the Flying Thunder God Technique to get there.
Hiruzen fell silent for a long while.
"Your talent is monstrous."
Even a genius like Minato Namikaze had needed several years to master the Flying Thunder God Technique.
Yeyu had mastered it in just over a month.
And he'd modified it.
That was an S-rank forbidden technique. Yeyu had to be incredibly bold, completely unafraid of dying, and his talent was terrifying.
Once back in his seat, Yeyu turned his attention to the documents in front of him again.
Mastering three S-rank forbidden techniques wasn't a big deal to him.
It only showed that Akainu was a quick learner.

"That makes you the third person to master it completely."
"But the Gate of the Great God should require Wood Release. How did you learn it?"
Yeyu looked up and explained, "The Gate of the Great God actually uses Yin-Yang Release. The First's version included Wood Release because he incorporated it into the technique."
"But the original Gate of the Great God should have only used Yin-Yang Release."
Hiruzen hadn't known that.
"You can deduce it from the principles behind the technique."

"Kakashi-sensei taught me the Lightning Blade and Rasengan. He said I could use them in combination with the Flying Thunder God Technique."
Hiruzen smiled. "Did you learn them?"
Yeyu nodded.
"The Rasengan was created by the Fourth Hokage. It was indeed meant to be used with the Flying Thunder God Technique."
"But the Lightning Blade is Kakashi's own technique. He must have had a little ulterior motive."
Hiruzen teased Kakashi.
Yeyu didn't see it that way. "I came out ahead. The Lightning Blade is an S-rank technique, after all."
The Lightning Blade and Chidori were the same kind of technique, but the Lightning Blade was much more powerful.
That was why Chidori was an A-rank technique, while the Lightning Blade was S-rank.
Yeyu hadn't gone to see Kakashi during that time.
But Kakashi had come to see him many times.
