The group finally arrived at Sunagakure.
Many of them were visiting Sunagakure for the first time.
Many people from Konoha were curious about this shinobi village deep in the desert.
They had never seen such a barren place before.
Konoha was full of trees. Even many of the Training Grounds on its outskirts were vast stretches of forest.
Trees grew wildly in Konoha, as if they cost nothing.

he looked over the group, but didn't see the person he wanted to. Disappointment showed on his face.
Temari stepped forward and handed Gaara the list of students from Konoha who were taking the exam.
Gaara didn't even look at it. He turned to them and asked, "Did Yeyu not come as your team leader?"
Since Yeyu had served as the chief examiner at the last Chunin Ninja Exams, Gaara had assumed he would lead the delegation in person this time.
