It is common knowledge that every player is a walking arsenal.
When it comes to firepower, Du Mu has never feared anyone.
Looking at the terrorists standing dumbfounded before him, Du Mu grinned and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
The six thick barrels began to spin at high speed, emitting a low, terrifying hum as they warmed up!
Seeing this, the burly bald man's pupils shrank, and he roared at the top of his lungs: "Retreat! Retreat now--!"
Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat--!!!
Before his shout had even faded, a violent storm of metal had already torn through the air!
The Gatling gun poured out firepower at a terrifying rate of 6,000 rounds per minute; the terrorists caught in the barrage didn't even have time to react before they were shredded into pieces by countless bullets.
Some terrorists tried to raise their guns to fight back, only to be met with a blanket of fire the next second, ending up with at least half a pound of lead in their remains.
Holding the Gatling gun, Du Mu didn't even bother to act; he activated Eye of Death directly, sweeping away every target within range!
Even the terrorists who tried to hide were blasted into dust along with their cover under the Gatling gun's devastating assault.
In front of a Gatling gun, all are equal!
But before long, the gunfire suddenly stopped.
The surviving terrorists thought Du Mu had run out of ammunition, so they were overjoyed and popped their heads out, ready to counterattack.
As it turned out, they saw Du Mu put on a pair of sunglasses and say sheepishly: "I knew I forgot something. Never mind, let's continue."
"Your moth..."
Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat--!!!
A few minutes later, there was no sign of any terrorists left on the field.
Even the burly bald man who had a bit of screen time died miserably under Du Mu's ruthless strafing, contributing 100 experience points to him.
"I thought he was a mini-boss, but that's it?"
Du Mu was somewhat disappointed. After checking the mini-map and seeing no red dots, he finally put down the Gatling gun.
He walked up to Tony and tapped on his steel head: "Hello, are you dead yet?"
"Not dead."
Tony opened his mask, the shock in his eyes impossible to hide: "Who exactly are you?"
"Didn't I say? I'm a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. You can call me Du Mu."
"An agent..."
The corner of Tony's mouth twitched.
If you hadn't said that, I would have thought you were the Terminator. Taking out dozens of terrorists alone—is this a poet?
"Tony, are you okay?" Yinsen ran over.
"I'm fine, just the armor's energy is depleted, and I can't move now. Help me take this thing off."
With Yinsen's help, Tony struggled out of the steel armor, revealing the dazzling Arc Reactor on his chest.
"Holy crap, cyberpunk!"
Du Mu's eyes lit up as he looked at Tony and asked: "Are you selling this thing? Install one for me too."
"Sorry, this is not for sale."
Tony felt that Du Mu was a bit abnormal; after all, what normal person would voluntarily install a reactor in their own chest?
If he could, he would rather not have this thing.
Tony suddenly thought of something and said to Du Mu: "Hey, Du Mu, can you do me a favor?"
"What favor?"
"Help me destroy the weapons here, every last one of them."
Tony's gaze was earnest; he did not want the weapons he had created to become instruments of slaughter for others again.
[NPC Tony Stark has issued a new quest for you] [Quest: Destroy Weapons] [Objective: Destroy all weapons produced by Stark Industries in the camp] [Reward: 500 experience points, Tony Stark favorability +10]
Although the reward wasn't much, at least it was easy.
"No problem."
Du Mu agreed decisively, pulled a sticky bomb from his game inventory, and casually slapped it onto a crate containing missiles.
Tony recognized the missiles in the crate; they were the Jericho Missile he had recently developed, a single one of which had enough power to level a mountain.
And in this crate, there were six Jericho Missile units!
"Motherf***er!"
Looking at the ticking bomb flashing with red light, Tony's face turned green. He immediately shouted at Yinsen, who still hadn't grasped the situation, and they turned and ran like madmen.
"BOOM--!"
Accompanied by a deafening explosion, a massive pillar of fire rose up in the valley!
Even though Tony and Yinsen were already far enough away, they could still feel the scorching heat rushing toward them.
Tony and Yinsen gasped for air, their heart rates skyrocketing, their legs nearly giving out from the run.
In contrast, Du Mu looked like nothing had happened; he didn't even break a sweat, looking nothing like someone who had just sprinted over a kilometer.
"You lunatic!"
Tony gritted his teeth as he looked at Du Mu: "You almost got us killed!"
Du Mu asked in confusion: "Why?"
Seeing Du Mu act like this, Tony became even more infuriated.
"Why? It's a good thing the timer you set on that bomb was long enough, otherwise we would've been blown to bits if we had run any slower!"
"Who said it was a timer? This is a remote-controlled bomb; it only detonates when I press the button." Du Mu shook the controller in his hand.
Tony and Yinsen: "..."
You motherf***er, why didn't you say so earlier!
Before long, a Quinjet appeared in the sky and landed in front of the three of them.
Coulson stepped out of the cabin, looking at Du Mu with a complicated expression: "Didn't we agree to keep a low profile?"
Du Mu said innocently: "I was already being very low-key."
The explosion could be seen for dozens of kilometers around; he called this low-key?
Coulson sighed helplessly. Not wanting to dwell on the issue, he walked straight up to Tony and extended his hand in a friendly manner: "Mr. Stark, hello. I am Coulson, an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., here to escort you back."
Looking at Coulson's gentle smile, Tony breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed this S.H.I.E.L.D. agent was a normal person after all.
If everyone were a lunatic like Du Mu, this S.H.I.E.L.D. should be renamed the Loony Bin.
Du Mu ignored the two of them talking and focused his attention on the system notification that had just chimed.
[Main quest "The Birth of Iron Man" completed!] [Rewards: 10,000 EXP, equipment "Frying Pan", equipment "Golden Desert Eagle", skill "Breathing Regeneration", item "Bowtie Voice Changer"] [Equipment: Frying Pan (Indestructible, can block all firearm attacks, and can also protect your backside)] [Equipment: Golden Desert Eagle (A Desert Eagle crafted from gold; after using it, you will be the flashiest guy on the field)] [Skill: Breathing Regeneration (Regenerate health just by breathing; after 10 seconds out of combat, automatically recover 5% HP per second)] [Item: Bowtie Voice Changer (You can freely switch between a loli voice or a mature woman's voice)]
Holy crap!?
Du Mu couldn't believe his eyes.
This was the first time he had seen such generous quest rewards.
Not to mention the full 10,000 EXP, there were several skills, pieces of equipment, and items awarded.
He knew that previous daily quest rewards were mostly just EXP, or trash items like C4 explosives. Unless it was a high-difficulty quest, there was only a slim chance of obtaining equipment, skills, or slightly better items.
As it turned out, completing one main storyline quest provided rewards far more generous than months of grinding daily quests!
Then what was the point of all the suffering he had endured before!?
Du Mu was overcome with grief: "Coulson, tell Nick Fury that I can't go back anymore."
Coulson: "???"
