Du Mu pretended to join Corvus Glaive and accused Ronan of betraying Thanos so he could kill him, but Corvus Glaive intervened. Du Mu and Corvus Glaive fought, and although Du Mu smashed him into a wall, Corvus Glaive recovered from his injuries and began healing.

• Corvus Glaive arrived, stopped Du Mu's attack on Ronan, and offered Du Mu a place in the Black Order.
• Du Mu accepted, then accused Ronan of plotting against Thanos and tried to smash his head with Pharaoh's Scepter.
• Corvus Glaive blocked Du Mu and insisted Ronan had to stay alive, so Du Mu accused Corvus Glaive of betrayal.
• Corvus Glaive attacked Du Mu, who used Eye of Death and magical effects to counter his rapid strikes.

Du Mu used The Shadow card to transform into a magical girl and summon a regenerating army of shadow soldiers against Corvus Glaive. The soldiers were cut down and restored, then one resembling Corvus Glaive stabbed him through the chest.

• Du Mu warned Corvus Glaive that Thanos would punish him for betraying the Black Order, but Corvus Glaive charged and attacked with his soul-bound Glaive.
• Corvus Glaive overwhelmed Du Mu with his speed and relentless strikes, while Ronan slowed Du Mu with the Universal Weapon before Rocket and the Guardians drove Ronan back.
• After Corvus Glaive wounded him, Du Mu declared that he had unleashed his true power and activated The Shadow, transforming his equipment and Pharaoh's Scepter into a pink magical-girl form.
• Du Mu summoned nearly a hundred shadow soldiers and ordered them to attack Corvus Glaive, who rapidly cut down more than half of them.

Du Mu accepted an S.H.I.E.L.D. promotion mission to investigate The Hand’s conspiracy, then encountered Matt and Frank being hunted by unusually powerful, resurrecting Hand ninjas. He rescued them and healed Frank with a Life Potion, but Frank woke with the katana still lodged in his stomach.

• Du Mu trained in Hela’s magic, became a wanted fugitive of the Black Order, and left Ultron, Yondu, and Nebula to manage the Ravager-Ravagers on Bohert.
• After his S.H.I.E.L.D. reputation reached its maximum, Du Mu received Maria Hill’s mission to stop the Five Fingers’ conspiracy.
• Matt and Frank fled through Hell’s Kitchen while injured and pursued by Hand ninjas, but Du Mu arrived and helped defeat their attackers.

• Du Mu learned that Matt’s ex-girlfriend Elektra was wanted by the Hand and arranged with her to lure its members out.

• Madame Gao attacked Du Mu after threatening him, but he overpowered her with his strength and guns and forced the Hand’s ninjas to retreat.
• Du Mu questioned Madame Gao about the Hand’s plans, then beat and hypnotized her when she refused to answer.
• Under hypnosis, Madame Gao revealed that the Hand planned to summon the Beast and use Black Sky to lead an invasion of K’un-Lun for its dragon bones.
• Madame Gao explained that the Hand’s Five Fingers had been expelled from K’un-Lun after stealing its dragon bones, which they had used to prolong their lives.
• Madame Gao said K’un-Lun’s Portal opened once every ten years in the Himalayas, and Du Mu realized K’un-Lun was near Kamar-Taj and decided to visit.

Du Mu learned that The Hand planned to summon the Beast and use Elektra as its Black Sky, then purged the Beast’s power from Murakami. As Du Mu set out for the altar, Daniel Rand accidentally hit Madame Gao with his car, and Du Mu used the accident to pressure him into taking him to K'un-Lun.

• Under hypnosis, Madame Gao revealed K'un-Lun’s Iron Fist, the Beast’s corrupting power, and The Hand’s plan to seize the Dragon Bones using a Black Sky vessel.
• Du Mu used holy light to purge the Beast’s power from Murakami, who died and crumbled into dust.
• Du Mu wore his Angel Halo and argued with Matt about killing sinners before Madame Gao led him toward the altar.
