Du Mu completed missions involving Tony Stark and Obadiah Stane before turning to a wave of vampire attacks in New York. After joining forces with Blade to hunt Deacon Frost, Du Mu raided Frost’s base, where Blade reported that his dead mother had come back to life.
Du Mu completed missions involving Frost, the Hand, Hulk, and Abomination while gaining access to S.H.I.E.L.D. and uncovering Osborn’s serum project. In New Mexico, he confronted Thor and Loki, then learned that Loki had escaped and taken the throne of Asgard, leaving Thor believing he was permanently exiled to Midgard.
Du Mu defeated the Destroyer, helped Thor reclaim Mjolnir, and later built a reputation in Asgard’s arena before returning to Earth. There, he captured the Green Goblin and became entangled in Peter, Gwen, and Harry’s lives as Doctor Lizard attacked Midtown High School.
Du Mu helped stop Loki’s invasion of New York, then entered a 1962 dungeon and set out to build a Mutant Brotherhood. The arc left him with several recruits, while Charles warned him that Victor was dangerous and Du Mu tried to avoid paying Logan and Victor the million dollars he had promised.
Du Mu stopped Sebastian Shaw’s plan for nuclear war, took control of the Hellfire Club, and helped establish Xavier’s school before taking on missions across the Marvel world. He recruited Peter and Harry into Team X, subdued the Ravagers on Vanaheim, recovered the Power Stone, and arrived on Xandar, where he encountered She-Hulk.
Du Mu captured Electro, built a revolution in Sokovia, became its king, and expanded Team X before being pulled into a parallel New York. There he fought alongside several Spider-Men against Kingpin’s forces and learned that the Super-Collider had connected more than ten universes.
Du Mu stopped a multiversal zombie outbreak, destroyed the vampire organization’s Blood God ritual, and defeated Dracula. He then exposed Hydra’s plans for Project Insight and took control of Hydra’s forces within S.H.I.E.L.D., leaving Sokovia poised for expansion.
Du Mu expanded Hydra’s operations, fought Ronan, and brought Killian’s Extremis research to Sokovia before entering a 1987 dungeon and pursuing Stryker’s experiments. After freeing Mutants and recruiting Wade, he traveled to another timeline to recruit Logan and Laura, who remained unwilling to join him.
Du Mu built the Immortal Alliance by recruiting Wolverines and allies across several worlds, defeating Magneto and a group of Super Villains, and restoring Dusk Wolf’s strength. The arc left Du Mu and Dusk Wolf fighting the Hulk after Dusk Wolf’s family was attacked.
Du Mu expanded Sokovia’s influence through alliances with Wakanda and Attilan, then became entangled in Steve’s mistaken campaign against Nick Fury. The group uncovered a Skrull invasion of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Earth, and Du Mu went undercover to find the humans the Skrulls had replaced.
Du Mu defeated Gravik, took control of the Skrulls, and strengthened his alliances with Kamar-Taj and the Brotherhood. He helped expose the Sentinel Program and, with Future Logan, prepared to travel forward in time to aid the surviving Mutants.
Du Mu helped the Mutants defeat the human forces, establish Krakoa, and win public acceptance before returning to Helheim and rescuing Quill’s group from the Necro Corps. He left the Guardians and Ravagers preparing to draw the Nova Empire into a confrontation with Ronan.
Du Mu killed Ronan, built up the Ravager-Ravagers, and defeated the Hand’s Beast vessel before the system sent him to Gotham. There, he joined the police and began patrolling with Harvey Bullock.
Du Mu became Gotham’s newest costumed hero while dismantling criminal operations and suppressing Arkham’s riot. After capturing Batman’s escaped enemies, he learned that Gotham’s upheaval had not fulfilled his mission to resolve three major crises.
Du Mu helped stop General Zod’s invasion of Earth, killed Zod, and formed the Super Seven with the other heroes. He then aided Constantine in investigating Isabel’s death, sent Isabel’s soul to Heaven, and uncovered Mammon’s involvement before confronting Balthazar.
Du Mu stopped Gabriel, Mammon, and Enchantress from bringing Hell or Apokolips to Earth, then helped form the Justice League as the heroes prepared for Darkseid. He set out to claim Atlantis’s Sacred Trident and reached its guardian, Karathen.
Du Mu helped Arthur claim Atlantis, then recruited Hal Jordan and defeated Parallax with the Super Seven. Back at Kamar-Taj, Du Mu inherited the title of Sorcerer Supreme, brought Strange into training, and began negotiating with K’un-Lun for its qi cultivation method.
Du Mu built the Dark Legion, drew Wanda out of a Chaos Magic fantasy, and recruited fear-powered allies before entering the Flashpoint World. He assembled the Avengers and stopped the war between Atlantis and the Amazons, but Reverse-Flash’s arrival left the conflict unresolved.
Du Mu ended Ares’s war, helped Bruce reunite with his family, and prepared Kamar-Taj for K'un-Lun’s martial arts tournament. After the tournament was interrupted by an invasion from the Eighth City, Du Mu freed the Immortal Weapons and captives and confronted its ruler, Yaozu Quan.
Du Mu took control of the Eighth City, defeated Apocalypse, and traveled to a zombie-ravaged parallel world in search of the Darkhold. After escaping Latveria with Wong and Dracula, he found the next fragment in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Playground base, where he discovered that Mace and Coulson were bio-synthetic robots.
