Saiyans Have Arrived

On a bright, sunny weekend, cars packed the streets and pedestrians flowed endlessly along the sidewalks. The malls had their air conditioning turned up high, and people moved through them, enjoying the cool air while shopping. Others sat in movie theaters, watching stories on the screen that were either lighthearted or thrilling.

Just as people were enjoying their weekend as usual...

Suddenly, two meteor-like objects fell from the sky in succession, smashing through the dome of a large shopping mall and plunging deep underground. The earth shook violently, and the surrounding ground collapsed into a massive crater. Towering buildings came crashing down as countless people screamed and fled in chaos.

Gray smoke drifted diagonally into the sky as flames erupted and explosions rang out without end, spreading to nearby buildings and roads. Just as people stood frozen in panic or fled desperately, two figures slowly emerged from the smoke and dust.

They wore strange outfits. One was bald and extraordinarily muscular, while the other was small in stature but wore a look of utter arrogance. They walked through the flames and ruins without the slightest hint of panic, instead sending chills down everyone's spine. Then, a woman suddenly screamed, igniting the atmosphere of terror.

"Al... aliens!!!"

"Ah!"

"Run!"

For a moment, everyone was overwhelmed with terror. Some ran for their lives, while others' legs gave out beneath them.

"Hmph, what ignorant humans." Nappa looked around at the panicked crowd with utter disdain. "Let's greet them." As he spoke, he raised a hand and extended two fingers, his mouth splitting into an extremely arrogant grin.

"Ha!"

In an instant, a powerful force surged forth. The ground exploded with a deafening roar, and light shot straight into the heavens! Everything within a hundred miles became a desolate wasteland. Humans, animals, and buildings alike were obliterated without a trace, while scorched smoke rose everywhere...

"Hahaha! Was my greeting not forceful enough?" Nappa laughed arrogantly, gazing smugly at the empty wasteland.

Vegeta brushed dust from himself. "What a pointless act. Don't forget why we came to Earth." He shot Nappa a sidelong glance. "If there had been Dragon Balls in that area just now, our wish for immortality would have been ruined! You idiot!"

"Ah—I'm terribly sorry! I got excited and didn't notice!" Nappa immediately came to his senses. Realizing he had nearly caused a disaster, his face instantly filled with panic.

If Vegeta got angry, he would be finished!

Fortunately, Vegeta merely reprimanded him a little. Though his tone was stern, there was not much real anger in his words.

"I'll look for the powerful people on this planet. Whoever could kill Raditz should be the strongest one." Nappa pressed his Scouter as he spoke. Suddenly, a string of signals sounded. "Beep beep beep—" "Beep beep beep—"

The signals kept coming, and they all pointed to the same location.

"Something's wrong. There are many powerful fighters on this planet, and all of them have Battle Power above one thousand."

"Hmph, just one thousand. Do you think they can threaten us? It'll be easier if they're all together. We can wipe them all out at once and save me the trouble of hunting them down one by one!" A disdainful sneer curled Vegeta's lips.

"Let's go!"

At Vegeta's command, he and Nappa rapidly closed in on the source of the signals.

Meanwhile, Earth's fighters had already gathered together. They too could sense the Saiyans' powerful Ki approaching them.

King Kai had informed them of the timing beforehand, allowing them to seize the initiative.

To avoid casualties and damage, they had deliberately chosen a remote wilderness as the battlefield. It was a vast expanse of barren plains and isolated mountains, with few birds or beasts even nearby. The wind carried dust past everyone, but they all stood tall and stared resolutely into the distance.

Raditz stood at the very front of the group, his expression grave.

"They're here!"

"The two Saiyans really are powerful. We can feel their Ki even from here." Though Krillin was surprised, he was not panicked in the slightest. After all, Raditz and Goku standing before him were also Saiyans, and he knew those two were even stronger!

"Tien Shinhan, will we be all right?"

"Chiaotzu, if things get dangerous later, run away first. Your Battle Power is the lowest here, so don't try to force a fight." Tien Shinhan instead revealed an eager expression. "We'll be able to fight them soon. I can't wait."

"Ah... they're so strong..." Fear showed faintly on Gohan's face.

"Strong?" Piccolo's lips tilted with disdain, his confidence overflowing.

During the final month, he had continued training with extreme diligence. He had sparred with Goku's Kaio-ken many times, and after countless battles, he had grown far stronger than he had been a month ago. In his view, since the two Saiyans could not use Kaio-ken, they might not even be his match!

Wearing that outrageously flashy cape, he stood beside Goku as steady as a mountain.

"Gohan, don't be afraid. Over the past year, we've improved tremendously. You have the strength to fight too." Piccolo glanced at the sweating Gohan from the corner of his eye.

"Yes, Uncle Piccolo." Encouraged by Piccolo, he became a little braver.

Gohan had always been trained by Piccolo. For one thing, Goku was not particularly good at teaching. For another, it was difficult for him to be as ruthless with his own son as Piccolo was. Piccolo, on the other hand, could be harsh when necessary and taught with great seriousness.

In terms of Battle Power alone, Gohan might not be inferior to Krillin now. However, lacking experience, he had never truly faced a battle of life and death, and his face was drawn tight with excessive nervousness. Goku had deliberately placed him behind himself, giving him someone to rely on.

"You brought the Senzu Beans, right?" Raditz asked Goku for confirmation.

"I did. But Master Korin said there are only three Senzu Beans left." Goku pointed at the small pouch at his waist. "Oh, right. It seemed Yajirobe was coming too, but why haven't we seen him yet?"

"Don't count on him. He'll show up when it matters."

"Still, if they really have eighteen thousand Battle Power like you said, they're no match for you, Brother. The Senzu Beans won't be needed at all!" Goku said with a smile.

"Let's hope so."

Raditz answered casually, but the unease he had felt on King Kai's Planet assaulted him once more. He clearly had twenty thousand Battle Power now, and with Kaio-ken and the secretly taught Spirit Bomb, he should have been more than capable of dealing with Vegeta. Yet the more he thought about it, the more uneasy he became, his heart filled with dread.

The timeline had quietly changed. Was that the reason? What exactly was wrong?

No matter how hard Raditz racked his brain, he could not find an answer. He looked anxiously at the sky, always feeling that some hidden force lurked somewhere, yet he had no clue what it was...

As he was lost in thought, Tien Shinhan suddenly shouted. He had spotted figures in the distance! Everyone snapped their gaze over and saw two white blazing auras streaking toward them, charging in with overwhelming force.
