The Saiyans Have Arrived

On a sunny weekend, the streets were packed with cars, and streams of pedestrians flowed endlessly. The mall's air conditioning blasted cold air, with many people wandering through, enjoying the cool while browsing goods, while others watched lighthearted or thrilling stories on the big screen in the theater.

Just as everyone was enjoying their weekend like any other day...

Suddenly, two meteor-like objects crashed through the mall's dome, plunging straight into the ground. The earth shook violently, the surrounding surface collapsed into a deep crater. Massive buildings toppled with a roar, countless people screamed and scattered in chaos.

Gray smoke drifted diagonally into the sky, bursts of fire and explosions rippled out, spreading to nearby buildings and roads. Amid the panic and confusion, two figures slowly emerged from the dust.

They wore strange outfits—one bald and extraordinarily muscular, the other small but brimming with arrogance. They walked through the fires and rubble without a hint of alarm, sending chills down everyone's spine. Suddenly, a woman's scream ignited the terror.

"Al... aliens!!!"

"Ah!"

"Run!"

In an instant, sheer horror gripped everyone; some fled for their lives, others' legs gave out.

"Hmph, what ignorant humans." Nappa scanned the panicked crowd with disdain. "Let's say hello." He raised his hand, extending two fingers, a wildly arrogant grin spreading across his face.

"Ha!"

In a flash, a surge of immense power erupted, the ground exploded with a roar, and light shot to the sky! For miles around, everything turned to barren wasteland—people, animals, buildings—all obliterated without a trace, smoke and embers rising...

"Hahaha, was that hello not enough?" Nappa laughed boisterously, smugly eyeing the empty ruins.

Vegeta brushed off the dust. "Pointless stunt. Don't forget why we came to Earth." He shot Nappa a sidelong glare. "If the Dragon Balls had been in this area, our wish for immortality would've been ruined! You idiot!"

"Ah—my apologies, I got carried away and didn't notice!" Nappa snapped to attention, realizing his near blunder, his face instantly panicked.

If Vegeta got angry, he'd be done for!

Luckily, Vegeta only scolded him harshly, his tone stern but lacking real fury.

"Let me find the strong ones on this planet. Whoever killed Raditz should be the strongest." Nappa pressed his Scouter, and suddenly a series of signals beeped—"BEEP BEEP BEEP"—"BEEP BEEP BEEP"—

The signals came in rapid succession, all converging on one location.

"Something's off. This planet has plenty of strong fighters, all over a thousand Battle Power."

"Hmph, a mere thousand. Think that threatens us? If they're all together, that's convenient—wipe them out in one go, save me the trouble of hunting them down!" Vegeta curled his lip in a cold sneer.

"Let's go!"

With that command, Vegeta shot off toward the signal source, Nappa following close behind.

Meanwhile, Earth's warriors had already gathered, sensing the Saiyans' powerful ki approaching.

King Kai had notified them of the timing, giving them the advantage.

To minimize casualties, they'd deliberately chosen a remote wilderness—barren plains and solitary mountains, with few birds or beasts nearby. Wind swept dust past each of them as they stood firm, eyes fixed on the distance.

Raditz stood at the front, his face grim.

"They're here!"

"Both Saiyans are strong—I can feel their ki from here." Krillin was surprised but unflustered, knowing Raditz and Goku were Saiyans too, and stronger at that.

"Tien Shinhan, will we be okay?"

"Chiaotzu, if danger comes, run first. Your Battle Power's the lowest here—don't force a fight." Tien Shinhan's face showed anticipation instead. "I can't wait to face them."

"Ah... so strong..." Gohan's face held a trace of fear.

"Strong?" Piccolo's lips curled in disdain, brimming with confidence.

In the final month, he'd trained relentlessly, sparring many times with Goku's Kaio-ken. Battle-hardened, he'd grown far stronger than a month ago. In his eyes, the two Saiyans didn't know Kaio-ken—they might not be his match!

Draped in his flamboyant cape, he stood beside Goku, steady as a mountain.

"Gohan, don't be afraid. We've come a long way this year. You can fight too." Piccolo glanced at the sweating Gohan.

"Yes, Mr. Piccolo." Encouraged, Gohan mustered a bit more courage.

Piccolo had always trained GohanGoku wasn't great at teaching, and couldn't be as harsh with his own son as Piccolo could. Piccolo, however, had no such qualms and taught with utmost seriousness.

Now, Gohan's Battle Power might rival Krillin's. But lacking experience, he'd never faced a life-or-death battle, his face taut with tension. Goku had him stand behind for support.

"Did you bring the Senzu Beans?" Raditz confirmed with Goku.

"Yes. But Master Korin said there are only three left." Goku patted the small pouch at his waist. "By the way, Yajirobe said he'd come, but I don't see him yet."

"Don't count on him. He'll show up when it counts."

"Still, if they're at 18,000 Battle Power like you said, they're no match for you, brother. The Senzu Beans won't even be needed!" Goku grinned.

"Let's hope so."

Raditz muttered, the unease from King Kai's Planet creeping back. He had 20,000 Battle Power, plus the Kaio-ken and the secret Spirit Bomb—enough to handle Vegeta. But the more he thought about it, the more restless he grew.

The timeline had shifted. Was that the cause? What was wrong?

Raditz racked his brain for an answer, staring anxiously at the sky. He felt some hidden power lurking somewhere, but had no clue...

As he pondered, Tien Shinhan shouted, spotting figures in the distance! Everyone looked sharply—two streaks of white light shot toward them, charging fiercely.

Vegeta, Nappa—you've finally come!
