"Another Battle Power of 40,000!" Turles exclaimed in surprise. A sharp energy struck him from behind, and he immediately turned to look. "Ra, Raditz?"

Raditz, who had been powerless to resist just moments ago, had somehow gotten back to his feet without a scratch. Even more terrifying was that the Scouter accurately reflected Raditz's current Battle Power: a staggering 40,000. It was almost unbelievable.

Damn it! Though he hated to admit it, Turles couldn't help but curse inwardly.

Turles was sent flying by the force!

"Impossible!" Turles cried out, flying back into the sky. His expression was extremely grim, his posture disheveled. Seeing the red Ki aura around Raditz, he couldn't help but tremble.

He refused to believe Raditz had the potential to surpass him, especially after eating a Sacred Fruit! But the previous blow couldn't be faked; he had truly been defeated.

The Scouter warned him several times, emitting a sharp, piercing screech before exploding.

Turles flew backward, his mind in a daze, his vision darkening before the world spun. The immense gap had thrown him into a panic. He hadn't expected that even eating the fruit with all his might wouldn't help!

There was only one way... Turles forcefully steadied his mind and shouted as he flew high into the sky.

The sky was obscured by the massive shade of the tree, but a few scattered points of light pierced through the gaps. Turles tilted his face upwards, blasting open a patch of shade. The light from above entered his eyes, his pupils gradually dilating, his eyeballs turning red before becoming white. His body froze in mid-air, beginning to swell continuously. Sharp teeth protruded from both sides, and his face contorted into a monstrous grimace!

He still had his tail! The artificial moon affected him, allowing him to transform into a Great Ape. But Turles disliked the Great Ape transformation; he found it ugly and difficult to control. However, to avoid defeat, he had to take the risk.

"Stop!" Raditz cried in alarm, firing several energy blasts in a barrage.

In his x4 Kaio-ken state, his Battle Power had reached 160,000, while Turles's Ki intensity was only half of his. The energy blasts should be enough to blow him away, right?

Just as they finished eating, a thunderous roar and a blinding white light surged towards them from behind. In their haste, the two dodged, but the immense power of the impact was vast, its range so large that they couldn't escape. They could only hide behind thick branches, shielding their faces with their hands, resisting with all their might.

When the light subsided, both of them smelled scorched, smoke rising from their bodies. Since they had used their Ki to protect their bodies and clothes, their upper bodies were bare, but their pants were largely unharmed and still intact.

Fortunately, Turles had to reduce his attack power to increase the range, otherwise, the two would have been in grave danger.

There are many explanations for Turles's Battle Power changes in the movie. Honestly, I feel it's more about plot convenience or like Super, it's inconsistent. After all, movie villains often have power-ups, and the protagonist fighting back is satisfying.

Here, the setting is that Turles is trash. He did eat quite a few fruits, and Earth's soil is good and nutritious, so eating an Earth fruit caused his power to surge. However, the fruit's effect was limited and not enough to completely dominate a tenfold Kaio-ken.
