Raditz noticed the Sacred Fruit. If Turles got his hands on it, the consequences would be dire! Earth's soil was incredibly fertile, producing a Sacred Tree far superior to those on barren planets. Even consuming a single fruit would grant extraordinary effects.

He absolutely couldn't let Turles succeed!

Raditz instantly unleashed his full speed, his entire body aching from the strain, but he was willing to risk anything to stop Turles. Goku also sensed Turles's actions and approached even faster, a red glow flashing erratically. Turles moved too, his eyes bloodshot, roaring as he charged!

The three advanced at full speed, almost simultaneously, all aiming for the same objective!

"BANG—"

A massive impact echoed for a long time. Tree debris flew, several thick, gnarled roots snapped and lay to the side, and dust billowed, obscuring vision.

From the dust, Raditz was the first to reveal himself.

"Did I end up a step too late?" Raditz stood farthest away, breathing heavily. He had just used the x4 Kaio-ken, pushing beyond his current physical limits and significantly depleting his stamina.

Goku appeared next. He waved away the dust and immediately knelt on one knee, also exhausted, sweat pouring down his face. "I hit Turles."

Just moments ago, Goku had slammed into Turles, sending him flying far away, crashing through several trees and causing the current scene. With his strength at that moment, he could have easily broken several of Turles's bones!

"No... look up there."

Raditz pointed above them to the empty branches. There was nothing.

Despite taking Goku's powerful blow, Turles had achieved his goal.

He still got the Sacred Fruit! This was bad! Raditz inwardly panicked. The worst possible outcome had occurred, and the situation was not looking good!

"Goku, give me a Senzu Bean. He's cheating, so we need to be prepared too."

"Cheating?"

"Don't worry about that. Prepare a Senzu Bean for yourself, and one for Vegeta, who's resting." Raditz glanced at Vegeta and decided to trust him. "Then, we'll go take the remaining Sacred Fruit!"

"Just how powerful is that fruit?" Goku tossed a Senzu Bean over.

Raditz caught the Senzu Bean and emphasized it solemnly. He almost wanted to retort that Earth itself was truly powerful, that everything here was the best, otherwise so many things wouldn't have happened.

Their brief conversation was interrupted by a burst of laughter, utterly arrogant and wild. His laughter pierced the smoke, making one's bones ache and the air tremble.

The immense Ki made Raditz feel suffocated, his chest expanding and contracting violently, his face changing color. As expected, the Sacred Fruit on Earth provided a massive boost, almost unbelievable.

Turles walked over slowly, as leisurely as if he were taking a stroll, a sinister smile of mockery on his lips.

"Kakarot, that hurt! And you, Raditz, and you over there, Vegeta. Since you won't listen to me, I'll just send you all to hell! What prince, what elite warrior, none of that matters before me, Turles!"

Raditz burst into laughter upon hearing this.

"What are you laughing at?"

"In my eyes, you're the most pathetic BOSS. It's one thing to rely on the Sacred Fruit to boost your power, but you were afraid to face me and Vegeta directly, so you deliberately created an artificial moon for us to fight and weaken ourselves before showing up. You also sneak attacked Piccolo, sneakily stole the fruit to power up, and then came out to show off?"

Raditz gave Goku a look and slowly approached Turles. "Do you know the difference between you and Vegeta? You lack Saiyan pride."

"You!" Turles's mouth twitched, his anger surging.

Raditz felt a crushing force impact his body, almost flattening him. Without hesitation, he immediately released his grip and fled outwards.

RUMBLE—

Countless stones on the ground shattered into dust, blown away by the air currents. The impact of Turles's fall was only slightly less than a Great Ape's stomp, creating a pit several feet deep. Raditz couldn't escape; he was hit by the shockwave, falling to the ground with limp limbs.

Just one blow, terrifyingly powerful.

"I'll give you a quick end," Turles raised his hand, fingers spread, releasing a layer of Ki that gathered on his palm. A strike from this would not be a joke.

But a smile played on Raditz's lips.

His eyes reflected two figures: Vegeta and Goku. At the critical moment, they had eaten Senzu Beans and recovered!

Goku directly activated the x4 Kaio-ken, positioning himself in front of Vegeta. The surging red light rapidly approached Turles in the air. Turles's Scouter readings fluctuated, detecting that both their power levels had increased to varying degrees!

"Damn it!" Turles turned, swatting his hand away, a pink energy wave surging like a tide.

Goku and Vegeta's expressions sharpened; they dared not meet the attack head-on and dodged rapidly, splitting up.

Seizing this opportunity, Raditz, who could barely muster the strength to stand, popped the Senzu Bean into his mouth. If the Sacred Fruit was one cheat item, then the Senzu Bean was another. Its miraculous ability to instantly restore full health and energy, combined with the Saiyan's growth potential after near-death recovery, was the true perfect match!

As the Senzu Bean entered his body, Raditz felt a warm, miraculous energy permeating him, like soaking in hot water after a long day. In moments, his entire body was filled with strength! His wounds healed, his Ki was replenished, his spirit was invigorated, and his Battle Power increased!

Turles, with his back to Raditz, checked his Scouter again. The reading settled on "40000"!

The Sacred Fruit and the Saiyan near-death revival attribute are both somewhat vague, with different interpretations.

Here, I believe that near-death isn't purely a passive skill; it requires mental, physical, and environmental conditions to be met. The power boost also relates to the mental state at the time and the opponent's strength (I saw a post online suggesting it boosts you to roughly the opponent's level, which is quite interesting).

Of course, there are many contradictions in the various Saiyan settings, all for the sake of the plot, so no need to take it too seriously. Master Toriyama, as everyone knows.
