"This is Mash Galahad. Doctor? Can you hear me? Doctor? Please respond if you can hear me!"
Amid the blowing sand, the group that had just completed their Spiritron Transfer was attempting to contact Chaldea.
However, no matter how many times they tried to connect, they failed.
The seven of them were currently sheltering behind a dune, avoiding the onslaught of the yellow sand.
"Tell me, is this really the Middle East?" Hans Christian Andersen looked at Leonardo da Vinci, who was lying on the other side, with an expression of utter despair and suspicion.
"Geographically speaking, yes." Leonardo da Vinci answered solemnly, before suspicion appeared on her own face as well. "...Probably?"
"You're not sure yourself!?" Fujimaru Ritsuka and Hans Christian Andersen shouted in unison.
"It's all Roman's fault!" Leonardo da Vinci cried indignantly. "This doesn't look anything like Jerusalem! Where the hell did Roman Spiritron Transfer us to!?"
"Anyway, let's figure out how to get out of this damn place first." Liao Ye spat out two mouthfuls of sand, looking miserable. When they had landed after the Spiritron Transfer, he had been the only one to hit the ground face-first, ending up with a mouth full of sand.
"No, I still can't contact Master. Put this on first." Mash sighed, giving up on further attempts at communication as she wrapped a scarf around Fujimaru Ritsuka.
"Thanks, Mash." With the scarf wrapped around him, Fujimaru Ritsuka finally felt his breathing become a little easier. He took a couple of breaths, then looked toward the other Servants. "Everyone, are you all right?"
"I want to get out of here already," Carmilla said listlessly.
"I'm fine."
Artoria Alter frowned.
This Singularity gave her a strange feeling.
A very strange feeling.
Though it was not Britain, it still felt familiar to her.
