In one of Chaldea's rooms, Holmes held his pipe between his teeth, his expression somewhat stern and grave as he looked at the figure concealed within the shadows across from him.
The figure in the shadows gave no response, as though it did not exist at all.
"Chaldea's Master, Fujimaru Ritsuka, has fallen into an unconscious coma for unknown reasons. Even after examining his body, the only conclusion we can draw is that this is a strong, healthy body that has undergone training. The cause of his unconsciousness remains unknown, and the problem cannot be resolved."
As he spoke, Holmes tapped out his pipe, shaking free the ash.
"Multiple Servants skilled in medicine, including Lawrence, have tried many methods on Fujimaru Ritsuka, but none have been able to wake him."
"Mash seemed to mention that this situation... was not the first time."
A hint of inquiry entered his gaze as he looked toward the shadows.
"Then, the culprit behind that incident...?"
Tilting his head, the corner of Holmes's mouth seemed to curl into the faintest, almost imperceptible smile.

Yet the lightning around his body seemed to flicker.

Holmes changed the subject.
"Although you were involved in that matter as well, you do not seem like a man who would make the same mistake twice."
