In the autumn of Year 55, hundreds of clan members gathered in the meeting hall at the Uchiha Clan Compound.
It was the largest meeting the Uchiha Clan had held in years. All the elders and elite members were in attendance.
Xingye stood on the platform, calm and imposing. Though only eight years old, he already displayed a maturity and leadership far beyond his age.
"Clan members," Xingye began. His voice wasn't loud, yet it carried throughout the hall. "I've called you here today to discuss the future of the Uchiha Clan."
The hall fell silent, and everyone looked at Xingye on the platform.
"I know you all have questions," Xingye continued. "About Konoha's attitude toward us, Danzo's ambitions, and our clan's standing in the village."
"Some say we should endure and wait for the right moment. Others say we should take the initiative and fight for more power. And some say we should leave Konoha and find another way forward."
"But what I want to say is this: no matter which path we choose, we must first unite."
"Only by uniting can we survive in this cruel ninja world. Only by uniting can we change our fate."
Xingye's words struck a chord with the clan members, and murmurs began to ripple through the crowd.
"Xingye is right..." one elder said with a nod. "We really do need to unite."
"But how are we supposed to unite?" another elder asked. "The clan is divided into factions, and everyone has their own ideas."
"Then we change things," Xingye said firmly. "I propose that we abolish the clan's conservative faction and establish a new order built on strength and wisdom."
The hall erupted in an uproar.
"Abolish the conservative faction? That's impossible!" A conservative elder stood up. "We can't abandon the traditions of the Uchiha Clan!"
"Traditions?" Xingye sneered. "What traditions? The tradition of standing still? Or the tradition of sitting back and waiting to die?"
"You...!" The conservative elder was enraged.
"That's enough." Fugaku stood up, his voice calm and firm. "Xingye is right. We have to change. The conservatives' ideas no longer suit the current situation. If we keep standing still, we'll only be left behind by the times."
Fugaku's words silenced the conservative elders. As clan head, his words carried great weight.
"I agree with Xingye," Itachi said as he stood, his eyes shining with resolve. "We have to reform if we're going to survive in this era."
With Fugaku and Itachi's support, Xingye's proposal was ultimately approved.
The Uchiha Clan began its internal reforms.
The conservatives were sidelined, and the radicals began to take power. Xingye, Fugaku, and Itachi formed a triumvirate to lead the Uchiha Clan together.
The reforms included:
Abolishing the clan's conservative faction and establishing a new order built on strength and wisdom.
Strengthening ties with Konoha's other clans and expanding their influence.
Secretly gathering evidence of Danzo's crimes to prepare for a counterattack in the future.
Improving the clan members' abilities, taking on more missions, and demonstrating loyalty to Konoha.
Xingye's reforms won the support of most clan members, and the Uchiha Clan's strength and unity increased significantly.
But Danzo sensed that something was amiss.
"The Uchiha Clan seems to be planning something..." A trace of unease flashed in Danzo's eyes. "I must speed up preparations for their extermination."
Black Zetsu also sensed the threat.
"That child's existence could interfere with my plans." Black Zetsu watched Xingye from the shadows. "I have to deal with him as soon as possible."
But Xingye had already anticipated all of this.
"Come on, let the storm rage all the harder." Xingye stood on a high platform at the Uchiha Clan Compound, gazing at the distant Hokage Building, his eyes glinting coldly. "I've already begun setting the pieces in place for this game."
