Background / History
Lefiya is a Level 3 elven mage of the Loki Familia who greatly admires Ais Wallenstein. She accompanies Ais in the Dungeon, assists with collecting Magic Stones, and considers even minor support for Ais a privilege. Her concern for Ais extends to Ais’s long-standing Level 5 bottleneck and inability to achieve a Great Feat. 15
When Ais asks Thor for special training, Lefiya becomes anxious that Ais will grow beyond her reach. She overcomes her nervousness to request training as well, offering one million Valis per day for seven days—seven million Valis in total. 16 20
Thor accepts Lefiya as a paid student and offers to teach her a fourth spell despite the usual three-spell limit. Before beginning the program, he gives her a Stardust and temporarily seals her strength to Level 1, forcing her to train under conditions where her usual power and physical coordination are unavailable. 17
Her early training exposes a major weakness: despite extraordinary magical ability, she lacks practical combat experience and struggles to complete long incantations while under attack. Thor repeatedly rescues her during monster encounters and begins instructing her in parallel chanting and a modified version of Requiem. 18 19 24
During dream training, Lefiya initially flees and accepts repeated deaths rather than fight. When Thor manifests an illusion involving Ais to provoke her, Lefiya immediately resumes fighting, revealing that her strongest motivation is protecting Ais. 30 By the next Dungeon expedition, her chanting speed and coordination have improved enough to support Bell and Ais effectively against a large monster influx. 33
Appearance
Lefiya is a young elven girl with clear emerald-green eyes and a small build. She is often visibly expressive: her cheeks flush when flustered around Ais, while fear or embarrassment can leave her panicked and tongue-tied. 15 16 26
- Carries the staff Forest Teardrop. 35
- Wears Dungeon equipment and has carried a large backpack while accompanying Ais. 15 26
- Her elven long-form incantations are described as rapid and high-pitched. 18
Personality
Lefiya is earnest, anxious, and intensely devoted to Ais. She views Ais as an admired senior and wants to become strong enough to fight at her side rather than remain behind as support. This admiration also makes her protective and possessive; she insists on joining Thor’s nighttime training partly to ensure that Ais is not “snatched away.” 16 20
Despite her nerves, Lefiya is resourceful and determined. She uses nearly all of her savings to secure Thor’s instruction, arrives early for training, and resolves to endure its harshness. 16 20 24 She can, however, become overwhelmed by unfamiliar situations, including Thor’s claims about altering magic Slots, Syr’s presence in Thor’s residence, and the contents of Syr’s moving boxes. 17 26 27
Her fear in battle initially causes her to retreat or freeze when enemies close in. Once Ais is threatened—even by an illusion—Lefiya’s resolve becomes far more forceful. 18 30
Abilities & Skills
Magical Talent
Thor considers Lefiya a magical genius whose mana density is three to five times that of a mage at her level. Though only Level 3, her firepower can reach the level of a Level 5 mage. 18
- Possesses three recorded spell Slots, the usual maximum for an adventurer. 17
- Thor states that he could create capacity for a fourth spell, though Lefiya has not yet been shown receiving one. 17
- Her magical strength is hindered by limited frontline experience and vulnerability while chanting. 18
Elf Ring
Elf Ring is Lefiya’s summoning magic and the basis of her reputation as the Thousand Elf. It allows her to use elven spells if she fully understands their effects and incantations. 18
- Can potentially access dozens or hundreds of elven spells rather than being limited to her own three recorded spells. 18
- Requires complete mastery of a target spell’s effect and chant. 18
- Thor modifies Requiem into a form compatible with Elf Ring. 20 33
Requiem of Peace
Requiem of Peace is the modified, weaker Spirit Summoning-compatible form of Thor’s Requiem. Lefiya casts it through Elf Ring during the battle on the sixth floor. 20 33
- Creates a violent magical explosion that clears a large section of a monster swarm. 33
- Was designed to be more suitable for Lefiya’s magic than Thor’s original Requiem. 20
- The original Requiem is classified as a Regional/Transcendent-tier technique and requires 100 Stardust for its complete version. 28
Parallel Chanting
Thor teaches Lefiya the basics of parallel chanting: maintaining a spell’s structure while moving and responding to threats. 19 24
- Improves her ability to chant while fighting rather than remaining stationary. 24
- Her chanting speed visibly improves after dream training. 33
- Requires focused waking practice; Thor notes that it is not ideally learned through sleep simulation alone. 20
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Forest Teardrop — Lefiya’s staff. 35
- Stardust — Consumed at the start of Thor’s special training; used to suppress her strength to Level 1 and cultivate energy within her body. 17
Relationships
- Ais Wallenstein — Admired senior, Dungeon partner, and the person Lefiya is most determined to support and protect. Lefiya fears falling behind Ais and insists on joining nighttime training to remain at her side. 15 16 20 30
- Thor — Paid instructor. He recognizes Lefiya’s magical potential, saves her during training, and teaches her parallel chanting and a modified version of Requiem. 16 18 20 24
- Bell Cranel — Fellow trainee and Dungeon ally. Lefiya observes his rapid growth under Thor and later supports his advances with Requiem of Peace. 15 33
- Loki — Her goddess. Lefiya briefly questions her loyalty after comparing Loki’s conduct with Thor’s mentorship. 24
- Syr — A member of Thor’s Familia who asserts her place in Thor’s home when Lefiya and Ais arrive for night training. 26
Story Role / Major Arcs
Thor’s Special Training
Lefiya joins Ais’s seven-day training arrangement after paying Thor seven million Valis. She accepts Level 1 suppression, learns under severe Dungeon conditions, and begins addressing her weakness in close-quarters survival. 16 17 18
Dream Training
Lefiya participates in Thor’s Night Lullaby dream training. Her dream reveals both her desire for comfort with Ais and her tendency to surrender under repeated danger; Thor forces her to confront this weakness by using Ais as the focus of her fear. 28 30 32
Sixth-Floor Monster Influx
Following training, Lefiya demonstrates markedly faster chanting and casts Requiem of Peace to open a path through a mass of monsters. Her coordinated support allows Bell and Ais to continue their advance. 33
Tenth-Floor Man-eating Flower Battle
Lefiya accompanies Thor, Bell, and Ais to the tenth floor. She warns Thor about ambushes from the monster’s underground vines and witnesses his use of Ais’s Ariel and the Wind-Riding Sword Art. 45 46 47
