Background / History

The Sword Servant was raised by remnants of the Divine Sword Sect before being sold for spirit stones. Lin Chang'an purchased her after recognizing her Heavenly Spirit Sword Body, a legendary sword cultivator physique comparable to a Heavenly Spirit Root. Her mana was initially impure because of her human–monster hybrid bloodline, and Lin Chang'an placed new restrictions on her after bringing her to Five Dragon Island. 264

Initially treating her as a valuable resource, Lin Chang'an intended to purify her mana and use the Heavenly Spirit Sword Body's potential to improve his own future Nascent Soul prospects and the likelihood of sword spirits arising in magical treasures. He later gave her the orthodox Yin-Yang Combined Attack Secret Art. She had expected a cruel cultivation-cauldron technique, but accepted the secret art with relief and increasing trust in him. 270
