In the blink of an eye, two days passed in training and reflection.
From two days ago until now, Vegeta had focused on stabilizing his Super Saiyan state, then trying to exit it and transform again.
Although the time had been brief, Vegeta's strength had improved at an incredible pace, and he had mastered the Super Saiyan transformation well enough to enter it at will.
After he first exited the transformation, he had indeed found it difficult to transform again. But Vegeta quickly figured out the method.
Ultimately, the biggest concern was accidentally dropping out of the transformation and losing control of his power. Now that he no longer had to worry about that, Vegeta didn't plan to waste any more time.
Standing at the highest point on the island, Vegeta transformed once more after finishing his rest.
He was already skilled enough that transforming no longer caused upheaval in the heavens and earth, nor did it recreate the scene from his first transformation.
Using the reflection on the water's surface, Vegeta could clearly see himself with golden hair and green eyes.
One word!
Handsome!
Two words!
Strong enough!
However, after getting used to the power and state that came with transforming, he always felt a strange emptiness in his normal state.
Perhaps every Saiyan felt that way after mastering the Super Saiyan transformation.
They couldn't help thinking that their transformed strength was the true power they were meant to possess.
That wasn't an unreasonable thought, since it was a power unique to Saiyans.
But Vegeta was a transmigrator, and he thought about things more deeply. He also knew one thing for certain: transformation did unlock the power in a Saiyan's bloodline and increase his strength dozens of times over, but his normal state was the foundation.
That emptiness would probably fade as he grew stronger and mastered the Super Saiyan transformation more fully.
"Phew! It's about time I visited the Grand Elder again. I can see Bulma and the others while I'm there."
Vegeta exhaled, then left his Super Saiyan state again. Once his energy had settled, he spoke to himself.
During his rest over the past two days, Vegeta had sensed that Bulma, Krillin, and Son Gohan had reached the Grand Elder's residence.
Krillin and Son Gohan must have had their potential unlocked by the Grand Elder, too. Otherwise, their strength couldn't have increased tenfold.
Before going to fight Frieza, he needed to make some preparations. It was only natural to go say hello.
Otherwise, if they secretly took the Dragon Balls and summoned Shenron to make a wish while he was fighting, it would be a real nuisance.
With his current strength, Frieza was no match for him, and Vegeta could spare the attention to deal with a little trouble like that.
But he wanted to enjoy his battle with Frieza without a care in the world, so he wouldn't allow anything unexpected to happen.
"Hm? What are those two energy signatures?"
Just as Vegeta was about to set out, he sensed two powerful energy signatures approaching the Grand Elder's residence from a distant direction.
He had some recollection of them. They were squad leaders in Frieza's personal guard. One had a battle power about equal to Nappa's, while the other had a battle power close to ten thousand.
"If I remember right, their names are Zara and Dodjet. They're direct subordinates of that Zarbon fellow."
A teasing smile appeared at the corner of Vegeta's mouth. He slowly rose into the air and set off for the Grand Elder's residence. In the blink of an eye, he was on his way.
With their strength, Zara and Dodjet could certainly deal with ordinary Namekian warriors, but they wouldn't be enough against Nail.
Of course, Vegeta was more curious whether Son Gohan and Krillin would act first.
They were at the Grand Elder's residence, so they shouldn't just stand by.
Especially now that their strength had increased. They were no longer as weak as they had been when they first arrived on Planet Namek.

At the Grand Elder's residence.
A crowd of Namekians glared angrily at the two outsiders in the sky.
"Hahahaha! Lord Zara, we've really earned our keep this time. It's been nearly three days, and we've crossed most of Planet Namek. We've finally found another Namekian village."
The red-skinned Dinosaur-man Dodjet spoke to the blue-skinned Lizard-man Zara beside him, whose body was covered in yellow spots. His voice was full of excitement.
Their hard work had finally paid off.
With Zarbon and Dodoria gone, Dodjet and Zara had become the strongest Frieza Force soldiers currently on Planet Namek.
Of course, that only applied to the soldiers stationed on Planet Namek.
They wanted to earn Frieza's favor and take over the positions Zarbon and Dodoria had held, so they were eager to make a contribution and secure their standing.
Now that they had found a Namekian village, there was a good chance it contained Dragon Balls.
If they brought the Dragon Balls back, King Frieza would see them in a new light and entrust them with important positions.
"Listen up, Namekians below! Hand over the Dragon Balls and I'll let you off easy. Otherwise..." As he spoke, Zara raised his hand and formed an energy ball.
It was a threat, and a way to force them to comply.
If they refused, he would send the energy blast straight down.
The Namekians grew even angrier. They glared furiously at the intruders, and the strong young adults could no longer restrain themselves. One by one, they took to the sky, ready to fight at any moment.
"Looks like they're not going to hand them over. Why bother talking? Let's kill them all, then search at our leisure." Dodjet was much like Dodoria in temperament. He wasn't much of a thinker and knew only the most direct approach.
It was certainly the most effective, but he clearly wasn't strong enough to pull it off.
"Huh? Is that... a spaceship? And those three... Earthlings?!" Zara spotted the spaceship parked off to one side, along with Krillin, Son Gohan, and Bulma.
Then he realized what was happening, and an evil smile appeared on his face.
"I get it. You gathered here to avoid our search and planned to escape Planet Namek in that spaceship! Hmph! Now that I've spotted you, I won't let you leave." As he spoke, Zara flung the energy ball toward the spaceship.
To him, this was another great accomplishment.
His actions immediately caused the Namekians to erupt into action.
Krillin, who was closest to the spaceship, moved at once and stood in front of it. Facing the incoming energy blast, he raised a hand and knocked it away.
Son Gohan unleashed his energy in a burst. His power surged as he flew into the sky to confront the two men.
As for Bulma, she had already fled inside the house in fear. She was only an ordinary person.
