On King Kai's Planet.
Due to the shock of Vegeta's spiritual pressure, King Kai failed to steady himself for a moment, falling backward onto the ground with a face turning slightly purple.
"This shouldn't be. That guy Vegeta should have agreed; didn't he initially say he'd give us two wishes..." King Kai was deeply puzzled.
Yamcha and Tien Shinhan quickly helped him up.
In some respects, they were quite sharp, but at times they could be incredibly thick-headed and unable to grasp the obvious.
King Piccolo, however, was not surprised in the slightest and couldn't help but offer a sarcastic remark: "You should be thankful Vegeta doesn't have a way to get here, otherwise, King Kai, you'd likely be beaten to a pulp by him."
"Hmm???" King Kai was bewildered, his head full of question marks.
"King Piccolo, what do you mean by that?" Yamcha asked, equally confused.
"What else could I mean? You lot fancy yourselves clever, trying to trade empty promises for immediate gains, treating others like fools! If someone pulled this on me, I wouldn't agree either. What makes you think he would be willing to make such a trade?" King Piccolo said coldly.
He was speechless; such a simple principle shouldn't need explaining.
It could only be said that they were a bunch of selfish fellows.
At this moment, King Piccolo didn't harbor hatred toward Vegeta for refusing the trade; instead, he felt that he and Vegeta belonged to the same breed of people.
Tien Shinhan realized it then, slapping his forehead as he spoke: "I really have no brains; I didn't even react. As expected of you, King Piccolo, you spotted the crux of the problem immediately..."
"Uh? Is this problem that serious?" Yamcha still didn't understand and continued to ask.
Chiaotzu, standing to the side, couldn't help but roll his eyes, clearly having figured it out as well.
Tien Shinhan continued to answer: "It's actually quite simple. If King Kai had said that once the Dragon Ball on Earth were restored, he would grant Vegeta a wish directly, he might have considered it. After all, it would be a one-for-one trade, not too much of a loss. But saying he'd let him use it a year later is just absurd."
"For one, the Dragon Ball on Planet Namek can grant three wishes every 130 days; Vegeta has no need to go out of his way to use Earth's Dragon Ball... Secondly, if Vegeta really wanted to, he wouldn't need anyone's permission to use Earth's Dragon Ball. He's no saint, and he possesses absolute power. How could we possibly stop him?"
Once Tien Shinhan finished speaking, Yamcha finally understood.
King Kai also had a sudden realization, his face flushing red; he hadn't even grasped such a basic matter.
No wonder the man told him to get lost.
"Let's wait! Let's hope Vegeta doesn't use the Dragon Ball again in 130 days! Otherwise, our resurrection will be a distant, hopeless dream." King Piccolo said with a cold face before walking away alone.
Now that the matter on Planet Namek had come to an end, since he couldn't be resurrected, he would train even harder here, striving to have enough strength to contend with a Super Saiyan when the time for his resurrection finally came.
Although it was impractical, a warrior without a goal was no warrior at all!
He, King Piccolo, would not admit defeat easily!
Planet Namek.
After telling King Kai to get lost, Vegeta took several deep breaths to calm his emotions.
His sudden transformation had indeed startled the Namekian in the distance, not to mention Krillin, Son Gohan, and Bulma.
They had no idea what had transpired in the shadows.
In truth, even Porunga had been taken aback by Vegeta's power, cold sweat pouring down his face.
If he hadn't realized that Vegeta wasn't telling him to get lost, but rather the King Kai far away on King Kai's Planet, he would have been quite embarrassed.
"Um, could you proceed with your wish? Honorable Super Saiyan," Porunga asked, scratching his cheek with a dragon claw, urging him with politeness and grace.
Hearing this, Vegeta finally regained his composure.
He organized his words, controlled his pace, and slowly spoke the content of his first wish in the Namekian language.
"@#%&*@#... (My first wish: make my body develop once more. In a way that does not affect my origin, increase my height by twenty centimeters in the most natural and coordinated manner, and ensure no one can perceive that this height increase was due to a wish.)"
Porunga was ashamed upon hearing this.
As the eternal dragon of Planet Namek, he had heard many bizarre wishes from Namekians in the past, but this one was definitely the most unexpected so far.
The Saiyan before him actually wanted to use a wish to increase his height.
Porunga could not understand human height; in his view, Vegeta was currently well-proportioned, coordinated, and perfect, with no issues at all.
Of course, he thought this to himself, but he wouldn't say it out loud. After all, such a wish was easy for him to fulfill.
The simpler the wish, the easier it was for him, naturally.
"No problem, this wish can be granted. Without anyone noticing, increasing..." Before Porunga could finish his sentence, Vegeta's face turned black.
"Just do it, no need to repeat it," Vegeta interrupted Porunga forcefully.
At the volume Porunga was speaking, who the hell wouldn't hear?
Did he have no face to save?
He just wanted a reasonable height increase, was that too much to ask?!
"Very well, I shall grant it now." Porunga understood and made an 'OK' gesture.
The next second, red light shone in his eyes, and the immense power of the wish transformed into miraculous force, enveloping Vegeta.
Golden light bloomed as if he were turning into a Super Saiyan. When the light faded, Vegeta felt his field of vision widen; the angle from which he viewed the world had changed.
His height had finally, damn it, exceeded one meter eighty. No, it should be even taller than his previous life—at least one meter eighty-five!
A high-spec version of a male god.
It wasn't just his height that had changed; his hairstyle had also undergone some subtle refinements, his hair was thicker, and most importantly, his strength seemed to have received a certain boost as well.
Did he just get a combo deal?
"Because your first wish was too simple, I have strengthened your physical constitution on that basis. Although it is only twice what it was before, as a bonus, it is already the limit." Porunga's voice echoed, sending a surge of excitement through Vegeta.
"Many thanks! Then I shall state my second wish." A smirk tugged at the corner of Vegeta's mouth.
Porunga, as expected, did not disappoint him.
A single wish like this was worth more than all three wishes from Earth Shenron combined; he wouldn't even have to think twice about making the trade.
To hesitate for even a moment would be an insult to Porunga.
"%¥&&¥*&...(My second wish, please grant me the ability to survive in the vacuum of space! Of course, provided that my original essence remains unchanged...)"
