• Lu Yu and Luoshen collected fire-element crystals from a volcano, then Luoshen defeated Han Cheng after Lu Yu outmaneuvered him into wagering the Purple Leaf Roman Grass.
• Lu Yu advised Shui Bing'er and Xue Wu not to enter the dangerous forest, and they left to report the threat to Skywater Academy.
• The Kui Ox chose Lu Yu to inherit some of his power and recounted how Hong Feng had betrayed him and stolen his Soul Bone.
• The Kui Ox escaped Hong Feng’s attempt to kill him with a burst of divine power, while Lu Yu woke beside Luoshen and took her to an inn.

Lu Yu killed an assassin sent by Skywater Academy, then returned to Holy Soul Village and organized a tourism project to improve its people’s prospects. During a martial soul awakening, he discovered that Shitou’s Martial Soul was sealed, and the arc ended with Shitou choosing to pursue his origins and have Lu Yu try to break the seal.

• Lu Yu fought and killed a black-clad assassin who confirmed Skywater Academy had targeted him over Shui Bing'er, then left Suotuo City with Luoshen.
• Lu Yu returned to Holy Soul Village and persuaded the village chief and residents to build a visitor attraction around the legend of Gray Boy.
• Lu Yu organized the village’s renovations, activities, and service training, and the first tourists enjoyed the village and promised to return.
• Su Yuntao visited the improved village, and Lu Yu helped arrange a martial soul awakening ceremony for its children.

Lu Yu helped Shitou break his seal and evade the family hunting him, then reunited with Luoshen and trained her in combat and Soul Power control. The arc ended with Luoshen defeating two soul beasts and the pair deciding to prepare samples before selling their spoils.

Lu Yu and Luoshen joined Heaven Dou Royal Academy, where they earned mentors through talent and determination. Lu Yu trained, won major battles, and gained new power in the Soul Abyss before the Soul Master Exchange Tournament began.
