In the afternoon, the wind swept through the summer shade.
Sylutia sat beside the pond behind the cottage, her feet soaking in the cool running water. While building various structures this time, she had also installed a pipe from the well-side pond, channeling water to the edge of her little garden so she wouldn't have to trouble herself with fetching water every time.
As she waited for the pebble-lined pond to fill, Sylutia turned off the nearby faucet and soaked for a little longer. Her feet playfully splashed the water, and after enjoying herself for a while, she lifted them out. Once they had dried in the breeze, she put her shoes back on.
She picked up a watering can, filled it with clean water, and began watering the trees and flowers in her garden.
Two apple trees had recently been planted here, but they were still saplings, a little shorter than the girl.
"Grow up quickly." Sylutia sprinkled water around the tree roots, then rested her hand on a slender branch. A faint emerald glow appeared as the sapling absorbed the water, gradually sprouting tender leaves and extending its trunk.
A little while later, she lowered her hand and went to the other apple tree, repeating what she had just done.
With Emerald Dew Water, Branch Combing Technique, Natural Perception, and Identification Pupil working together, she had reached an astonishing level of skill in cultivating plants. For Sylutia, growing a plant of "perfect" quality was now practically effortless.
Ordinarily, gardeners learned Dew Prayer Technique at First Order, encountered Branch Combing Technique at Second Order, then combined the two toward the end of Second Order to form a Class ability. Even so, raising this Class ability to Lv.3 was no easy feat. Only a handful could raise [Gardener Apprentice] to
