Background / History

Zheng Zha was formerly a mid-level manager. After acquiring his vampire bloodline and internal-energy enhancement, he regarded himself as the Zhongzhou Team’s strongest member and attempted to assume a leadership position. Zhang Jie actively reinforced that belief, while Zheng Zha’s own organizational instincts made him receptive to building a team around himself. 4 5

His early power came faster than his experience. During the Alien scenario, he entered combat with double C-rank enhancements but little understanding of vampire techniques, leaving him badly wounded by Xenomorphs despite his exceptional durability. 11 Near-death pressure subsequently awakened his Gene Lock, establishing the instinct-driven fighting style that became central to his growth. 18 21

Zheng Zha’s initial ideal of protecting every teammate repeatedly brought him into conflict with Wang Zhen’s ruthless pragmatism.
