Dao Integration is the process by which a Dao Lord integrates their accumulated insights into a complete Dao. An attempt lasts no longer than nine years, regardless of the cultivator's strength or preparations 446.
For peak Dao Lords, successful integration can elevate them into Dominators. The prospect of this advancement drives intense competition for treasures that improve the chance of success, including the Dongming Jade Talisman 532 564.
A Dao Lord who reaches the threshold of integration generally cannot gain another complete realization through ordinary contemplation. Many instead study additional Daos to broaden their foundation before making their attempt 578.

For the Ultimate Dao, a merely stable Dao Heart is insufficient: it must be perfected before integration can succeed 637.
Dao Foundation
A broad and profound foundation in multiple Daos can improve a cultivator's prospects. Ju Hua's reincarnated bodies succeeded repeatedly because they inherited his high realm and could bear his extensive cultivation memories after reaching the peak Dao Lord stage 616.
True Spirit
The condition of the true spirit is critical. A Reincarnated Body may attempt integration, but its composite true soul can collapse if it cannot withstand the Dao being formed 455.

Ultimate Dao Integration
The Ultimate Dao differs fundamentally from ordinary paths. A normal Reincarnated Body can only bear a Dao at the Overlord level, while the Eternal Ultimate Dao is comparable to the Dao of a Supreme 455.

- acquiring access to the twelfth level of the True Spirit Palace and Fragrant Treasure Spirit Fruits 612;
- using the Dao Integration Fire Cloud Flower to simulate the Ultimate Dao of the Sword 646;
- ensuring the True Spirit Palace would be guarded against outside interference by Heihai 646.
Following his success, Ju Hua spent more than a thousand Chaos Epochs integrating the Five Elements, Yin and Yang, Life and Death, Light and Darkness, Wind and Thunder, Arrays, Illusions, Deduction, Causality, and Myriad Daos into his Eternal Ultimate Dao of the Sword 660.
