"Kakarot, do you really know about the Super Saiyan God?"
Vegeta supported his right arm and stepped forward to ask Son Goku in a low voice. His arm had been severely injured during his brief clash with Beerus, making even the act of lifting it an arduous struggle.
This was precisely what made Beerus so terrifying.
Even though Beerus had ceased his assault following Son Goku's words, Vegeta had inexplicably sustained numerous wounds regardless.
If Son Goku failed to fulfill the promise he made to Beerus—to find the Super Saiyan God—then their Earth would still face destruction.
The God of Destruction Beerus always kept his word!
"You've seen Beerus's temper; don't try to deceive him!" Vegeta warned Son Goku, his fear of Beerus having grown immensely.
Son Goku remained silent, head bowed as if deep in thought.
"I can hear what you are saying."
Not far away, Beerus stood with his arms crossed, his expression neither happy nor angry.
Behind him stood the Angel Whis, smiling throughout and holding his staff.
Clearly, Beerus was a man of his word, granting Son Goku and the others time.
Vegeta shuddered and immediately fell silent.
At this point, however reluctant he might be, he had no choice but to trust Son Goku.
Yet, another thought crossed Vegeta's mind, and he glanced toward the direction of the temple.
If he could lead Beerus to that person, perhaps Earth...
"Don't even think about it; it's useless."
Son Goku spoke up suddenly, having guessed what Vegeta was thinking.
He had considered this idea himself, but had quickly dismissed it.
Setting aside whether Soya was still in the midst of his training, it was uncertain whether Soya could even defeat Beerus.
After all, he had personally experienced the true strength of both.
Weighing the two, it was clear that Beerus, who had never truly fought seriously from start to finish, was the more terrifying of the two.
If Soya were to be defeated, Earth would truly be finished.
However, Son Goku had just thought of another way.
Just because they didn't know, didn't mean others didn't!
They still had the all-knowing Shenron at their disposal!
They had gathered the Seven Dragon Balls early on to celebrate Bulma's birthday, waiting for this very day.
But for the sake of Earth's safety, they would have to inconvenience Bulma.
"Bulma, may I borrow the Seven Dragon Balls?"
Son Goku walked over to Bulma to ask for her consent, while Vegeta stood by her side, supporting her.
"The Seven Dragon Balls?"
Upon hearing this, Vegeta immediately understood Son Goku's intention.
He meant to use the power of Shenron to locate the Super Saiyan God!
"Of course you can."
After hearing Vegeta's explanation earlier, Bulma finally understood what kind of existence stood before them.
While still shaken, she also felt a pang of sympathy for Vegeta.
She knew that Vegeta had been terrified of that creature, yet he had stepped forward for her sake.
"Lord Beerus, please wait a moment. Once we summon Shenron with the Seven Dragon Balls, we will be able to determine the whereabouts of the Super Saiyan God."
Son Goku walked up to Beerus and said, this being their final resort.
"Seven Dragon Balls?" It was clear that Beerus had no idea what the Earth's Shenron was.
"Lord Beerus, the Seven Dragon Balls are tools created by the Namekians on Earth that can grant their wishes," Whis explained immediately.
Beerus nodded after hearing Whis's explanation and waved his hand casually, signaling for Son Goku and the others to proceed.
He only cared about the result.
"Very well, Lord Beerus."
Son Goku and the others immediately brought out the seven Dragon Balls.
Bulma was still a bit reluctant on the side.
After all, these were originally her birthday gifts, but for the safety of Earth, she had to part with them.
Regardless, since Shenron could grant three wishes, giving one to Son Goku and the others didn't seem to be a problem.
"So these are the Seven Dragon Balls of Earth?"
Beerus said, looking at the seven Dragon Balls resting in the basket.
"How could it be so small?"
Because he spoke in a low voice, no one else heard him.
At this moment, Son Gohan and the others on the cruise ship gathered around.
However, Son Goku did not tell them about Beerus, the God of Destruction.
He was worried it would affect their mood.
"Let's begin."
Son Goku said as he stepped forward to the basket containing the seven Dragon Balls.
"Come forth, Shenron, and grant my wish!"
Son Goku spread his arms wide and shouted the incantation.
Rumble!
Dark clouds instantly filled the sky, and massive bolts of lightning descended from the heavens.
At the same time, a huge golden figure roared out from the seven Dragon Balls.
With its massive body, it soared straight into the firmament.
It circled in the sky, looking down at Son Goku and the others with an air of condescension toward all living things.
Two green dragon whiskers swayed in the air without a breeze.
Its scarlet eyes were filled with majesty.
"State your wish!"
Shenron looked down at Son Goku, speaking with a proud attitude and an inviolable majesty.
"Tell me, where is the Super Saiyan God?"
Beerus stood with his arms crossed, his tone devoid of any fluctuation. He looked up at Shenron; despite standing below, he gave the illusion of being the superior.
Shenron was just about to teach that ignorant brat a lesson for daring to speak to him in such a tone.
That was until he saw the guy with cat ears in the crowd.
"Lord Beerus?!"
Shenron instantly wilted, lowering his massive head.
Even though Beerus wasn't as large as one of his eyes, he now wished he could bury his head in the ground.
He really wanted to slap himself.
He could act tough in front of anyone else, but why did he have to do it in front of the most terrifying being in the universe?
Even his dragon body began to tremble uncontrollably.
He was terrified that Beerus would strike him down for his offense.
Son Goku and the others also witnessed Shenron's pathetic state.
"Don't waste time. Tell me, where is the Super Saiyan God?"
Beerus seemed a bit impatient; he raised an eyebrow as he looked at the bowing Shenron.
"The Super Saiyan God?"
Shenron hesitated for a moment before continuing.
"It is recorded in the myth books of Namek that only when five Saiyans with righteous hearts pour all their energy into another warrior can a Super Saiyan God be created."
"Is that all?"
Beerus put his hands behind his back and looked at Shenron.
Shenron nodded hurriedly, then asked tentatively.
"Lord Beerus, do you have any other questions?"
"No. Get lost."
Beerus waved his hand.
"You got it!"
Upon hearing this, Shenron quickly lifted his body; he had perhaps never been this happy in his entire life.
Boom!
As soon as the words fell, Shenron transformed into a pillar of light.
The seven Dragon Balls subsequently scattered, falling once again to various corners of the world, waiting for those destined to find them.
"Alright, you heard it too."
Beerus stood with his hands behind his back, looking at Son Goku and the others.
"I'll give you five minutes. After five minutes, I want to see the Super Saiyan God."
