Son Goku looked at his own body, feeling the power coursing through him. Excitement showed on his face.
"Such incredible power!"
Son Goku exclaimed excitedly.
"As a reward, Son Goku, I'll teach you how to cultivate God Ki. With your exceptional talent, I don't think it'll take long for you to succeed.
"When that happens, you'll be a Super Saiyan God. And when you transform into a Super Saiyan, you'll become a Super Saiyan God!"
Soya spoke slowly as he looked at Son Goku.
"Son Goku, I hope that the next time we meet, you'll have mastered God Ki and become a Super Saiyan God through your own strength."
Soya looked at Son Goku, then waved goodbye.
"Soya, a-are you leaving?"
Son Goku looked at Soya, reluctant to see him go.
After all, they'd spent so many days together. Even though Son Goku had spent every one of them being put through the wringer by Soya, he'd still grown deeply attached to him.
"Goodbye. If it weren't for Lord Beerus, I might have left long ago. There's nothing left to keep me on Earth, so it's time to go see what else is out there."
Soya smiled faintly as he spoke.
"Goodbye!"
Soya said, then vanished from the spot in an instant, leaving the valley.
"Now you can leave the valley. No one on Earth can beat you now—not even Vegeta."
After Soya disappeared, his voice rang out clearly in Son Goku's ears.
Soya appeared in the starry expanse.
He looked down at Earth, the place where he'd lived ever since arriving in this world.
"It's been a while. It's time to leave."
Soya spoke softly. He knew there was no reason to stay any longer.
Besides, with his current strength, he could travel through the universe.
And if anyone foolish enough to challenge him showed up, Soya wouldn't be afraid.
"With my current strength, I can't beat a God of Destruction, but I'm confident I can handle anyone below one."
Soya had great confidence in his strength.
After all, he'd grown enormously stronger during his time on Earth, many times over.
Especially after his battle with Beerus, and then a year of consolidation, his strength had reached its limit.
He still hadn't managed to transform into a Super Saiyan 4, but that was enough for now.
Soya wasn't in any particular hurry to become a Super Saiyan 5. He knew it would take the right opportunity.
Standing in the starry expanse, Soya gazed into the distance.
Space was pitch-black, but Soya didn't need his eyes to see. He could sense everything around him.
"Nothing much is happening in Universe 7 anymore. If that's the case, it's time to leave."
Soya spoke softly.
But he still hadn't decided where to go after leaving Universe 7.
"Never mind. I'll visit Universe 6 first. It's the twin universe, after all. I wonder how I'd measure up to Hit, the strongest assassin in Universe 6."
Anticipation shone in Soya's eyes.
"Whoosh!"
Soya darted forward, flying into the distance.
As the sound of him tearing through space rang out, he had already vanished far away.
"My speed is already at its limit, but I'm still nowhere near the fastest in the universe.
"Whis is an Angel. Just how powerful is he?"
Soya had once thought that being incredibly fast was nothing special, but now he realized he'd clearly underestimated the Angels.
"Maybe my current speed isn't even one percent of an Angel's—not even close."
Soya shook his head. He wasn't particularly concerned with speed.
Universe 7 was enormous. At his current speed, crossing it would take years.
After flying at high speed for a long while, Soya used Instant Transmission.
Even so, the distance he could cover wasn't all that great.
Fortunately, using Instant Transmission didn't consume much energy, so Soya could use it repeatedly.
But even with Instant Transmission, he kept it up for a full day and night.
At last, after who knew how many jumps, he reached the edge of the universe.
He knew he was at the edge because a barrier of light stood nearby.
The barrier was impossible to miss; it could be seen from a great distance.
Getting through it was extremely difficult. Only a recognized god could pass, or someone led by an Angel.
Of course, some rare treasures could also pierce the boundary between universes, such as the cube.
Soya's Instant Transmission was impressive, but he couldn't use it to jump straight from Universe 7 into Universe 6.
Looking at the barrier before him, Soya knew he had only one choice if he wanted to enter Universe 6.
"I'll break through the Universal Barrier by force. That's my only option."
Soya spoke slowly as he stared at the barrier.
He'd already anticipated this before setting out, so its presence came as no surprise.
"Let's see if my current power is enough to break through!"
Anticipation showed in Soya's eyes.
He knew this might alert the Gods of Destruction of both Universe 6 and Universe 7.
But he had no other choice.
And he didn't care if they found out.
Even if his current strength wasn't enough to defeat a God of Destruction, he could still escape with ease if he needed to.
Soya clenched his right fist, and the power within him gathered in an instant.
He fixed his eyes on the barrier, then swung a fierce punch straight at it.
"Boom!"
Soya held nothing back, unleashing all the power he could muster in his normal state.
The mighty punch slammed directly into the barrier.
"Boom!"
The barrier shook from the impact.
But after that brief tremor, it returned to normal. Nothing else happened.
"Interesting."
A smile appeared on Soya's lips. His full-power punch in his normal state hadn't shattered the barrier.
It hadn't even affected it.
"I'd like to see just how strong this barrier is. Can I break through it today or not?"
The barrier's strength had aroused Soya's keen interest.
Entering Universe 6 could wait. Breaking through the barrier was the priority now.
At the very least, he needed to force open a gap large enough for him to enter safely.
