The group had no choice but to split up and search different parts of the city for suspicious targets.

Li Lin searched at an unhurried pace, showing no sign of nervousness.

"Li Lin, you don't seem to be in any hurry."

Yamcha had just finished searching one area and landed nearby.

Li Lin smiled and spread his hands. "Why should I be in a hurry?"

Yamcha was momentarily taken aback, then smiled in understanding. "That's true. A strong guy like you probably doesn't even take the Androids seriously."

"Heh." Li Lin smiled without confirming or denying it.

Then, with a flicker of movement, Yamcha flew off to search another area.

Watching him disappear into the distance, Li Lin silently prayed, Tea God, be careful!

After that, he left too, wandering alone through the city.

Sure enough, about ten minutes later,

a large truck suddenly crashed into a gas station, setting off an explosion.

The explosion immediately caught everyone's attention. At the same time, they sensed Yamcha's energy gradually growing weaker.

The old man noticed Li Lin. A glint flashed in his eyes as he began searching through his mind for information about the people before him.

He had collected information on every powerful fighter on Earth, famous or otherwise. He had a record of them all.

So why couldn't he find anything at all about the young man standing before him?

"Although they have no energy, I can tell they're very weak."

"They pose no threat to the future at all. So there's only one answer: there are other, stronger Androids!"

Li Lin spoke with certainty.

He had no time to play games with these pieces of junk.

His main reason for being here today was still to meet the goddess of his dreams.

Son Goku and the others were stunned.

They weren't the only ones. The old man was stunned too.

Because Li Lin was absolutely right. He was none other than the notorious Dr. Gero.

And he had indeed created more than one Android.

"Who are you? How do you know about this?"

Son Goku scratched his head and explained with a smile.

Dr. Gero's aged face twitched at those words.

They were simply too insulting. It was as though they were calling the two of them ants who could be crushed at any moment.

Looking at Son Goku's earnest expression, Li Lin sighed helplessly. "All right, I'll leave them to you. I'll watch from the side!"

Dr. Gero finally couldn't take it anymore. He said angrily, "You're too arrogant! You're all far too arrogant!"

With that, beams shot from his eyes.

Son Goku and the others hurriedly dodged.

But Dr. Gero didn't seem to be attacking them. He was attacking the surrounding buildings instead.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Explosions rang out one after another. In no time, the entire city was reduced to ruins.

Almost everyone in the city was dead or injured. The scene was nothing less than hell on Earth.

"Damn you! I'll never forgive you!"

Son Goku charged forward in a rage at the sight before him.

"Thud!"

His punch landed squarely on Dr. Gero's face.

Dr. Gero stumbled back several steps. The hat on his head fell off, revealing a transparent brain.

Just then, Li Lin noticed that something seemed wrong with Son Goku.

That punch hadn't been anything special, but Son Goku was now sweating, and his complexion was beginning to look abnormal.

He still hasn't taken his medicine!

Li Lin thought helplessly.

Son Goku's condition meant he shouldn't be fighting anymore.

But Li Lin had no intention of trying to talk him out of it. He knew how stubborn Son Goku could be.

If he wouldn't let him fight, it would probably upset him more than losing his life.

Dr. Gero had put his hat back on and looked at Son Goku calmly. "If you're in a hurry, we can start right now."
