When Li Lin saw Piccolo arrive, he nodded calmly.

With that, the four of them shot into the sky and flew toward the island where the Androids were supposed to appear.

On the way, they ran into Krillin, and the group continued together.

Soon, they arrived at an island.

By the time they arrived, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and Bulma had already been waiting for quite a while.

They waved from the air and called out to everyone. "Hey! Over here!"

When the others saw them, they landed nearby.

After landing, Li Lin immediately noticed the baby in Bulma's arms. The corners of his mouth lifted slightly as he glanced at Yamcha beside her.

Looks like nothing has changed. Vegeta sure moved fast.

Bulma's eyes lit up when she saw Li Lin, too.

She had been deeply impressed by this handsome, powerful man.

It was a shame they hadn't taken things further back then. Now she even had a child.

Son Goku saw the baby in Bulma's arms and frowned slightly. He stepped forward and said, "Bulma, you're being reckless. This place is dangerous. Why bring a baby here?"

Bulma didn't seem to mind. She smiled and said, "I was just curious what the Androids look like. I'll take a quick look and leave right away."

As she spoke, she glanced fondly at the baby in her arms.

Li Lin lifted his head and took a quick look. The baby had a sparse covering of blue hair, and his eyes looked exactly like Trunks's.

"Is this Uncle Yamcha's baby? He's so cute!"

Gohan walked over and happily tried to make the baby laugh.

He didn't know who the baby's father was and assumed Bulma and Yamcha were still together.

Yamcha's expression darkened at that. He bluntly clarified, "This isn't my child. We broke up a long time ago. If you knew who the father was, you'd be very surprised."

After saying that, he didn't bother to explain.

He simply walked away, putting some distance between himself and the others.

Son Goku knew a little about the future, so he knew who the baby's father was.

Without the slightest hesitation, he said, "Could this be Vegeta's child? Trunks?"

Everyone was taken aback by Goku's words, their faces showing their surprise.

Bulma looked curious. "How did you know?"

Only then did Goku realize he might have let something slip. He looked flustered.

Seeing that Goku couldn't explain himself, Piccolo interrupted. "Why isn't Vegeta here? It's not like him to miss a gathering like this!"

"I don't know. I think he went off to train by himself," Bulma explained slowly after thinking it over. Then she continued, "I feel like he'll come back. He's been training so hard. If he doesn't show up, won't all that effort have been for nothing?"

Once they understood, everyone nodded slowly.

They figured that someone as eager to fight as Vegeta wouldn't miss this.

While they were waiting for the Androids to appear, a flying craft approached from far away.

A fat man carrying a samurai sword had arrived. He tossed Goku a bag of Senzu Beans, then left without looking back.

Goku had tried to persuade him to fight alongside them, but the man had flatly refused.

"Man, this is a real headache!"

Goku held the Senzu Beans and scratched the back of his head as he spoke.

Li Lin watched everything in silence. That fat man had to be Yajirobe.

But most of his attention was focused on the Senzu Beans in Goku's hand.

They were miracle medicine. As long as someone still had a breath left, one bean would bring them back to full strength.

If he got the chance, he'd better get a few for emergencies.

After that brief interruption, everyone continued waiting.

"What's going on? Why haven't the Androids shown up?"

Piccolo asked calmly, frowning.

According to the agreed-upon time, the Androids should have appeared by now.

"No idea."

Everyone looked just as confused. They weren't future Trunks, so how could they know what was going on?

Just then, a flash of light streaked across the sky.

"Boom!"

A loud explosion suddenly rang out overhead.

Everyone looked up. Yajirobe's flying craft had suddenly exploded in the distant sky.

"What happened?"

Son Goku asked in shock when he saw it.

Yajirobe was a good friend of his. With the flying craft suddenly exploding, the man had probably met with disaster too.

Piccolo stared at the smoke from the explosion, then suddenly shouted, "There are two people in the sky!"

His eyesight was just as impressive as his hearing.

Everyone's eyes turned toward the spot. Through the haze, they could make out two figures.

But the two seemed to notice everyone looking at them. They quickly descended and vanished into the city in an instant.

Tien Shinhan walked to the edge of the cliff and looked down at the buildings. He said helplessly, "No good. I can't sense their ki!"

After hearing him, Goku and the others tried to sense it too, but none of them got anywhere.

"What's going on?"

Krillin asked in confusion, frowning deeply.

Li Lin stepped forward and explained calmly, "They're probably Androids. That's why we can't sense their ki."

Everyone was shocked to hear this.

"If that's true, it won't be easy to find them," Piccolo said in a low voice.

Son Goku frowned and immediately suggested, "We can't just sit here and wait. Let's split up and search. Once we spot the Androids, we'll release our ki as a signal. As soon as the others sense it, they can come help!"

Li Lin heard the suggestion and nodded slowly.

Son Goku might seem a little dim sometimes, but when it mattered—especially in battle—he was definitely sharp!
