Leige vs. Dige

Five minutes later.

"They're here."

Leige watched as Savik and his group approached him.

"Did you kill Geli?"

Savik looked down at Leige on the ground and asked.

"And what if I did?"

Leige replied.

"What despicable trick did you use to kill Geli!"

Savik shouted.

"How about I send you to ask him yourself?"

Leige said.

"You're quite arrogant!"

Savik retorted.

"Arrogance requires skill, and as it happens, I have plenty!"

Leige said.

BOOM!

Savik fired an energy blast directly at Leige, who swatted it away with ease.

BANG!

Leige flashed behind Savik and threw a punch. Savik hurriedly raised his arms to block, but the force of the blow still sent him skidding back over a dozen meters.

"Damn it! Your combat power is still eight thousand. How is this possible? You clearly only have eight thousand, how could you possibly be my match!"

Savik checked Leige's power level with his scouter and exclaimed.

"Want to know why?"

Leige asked.

"Why?"

Savik demanded.

"I'll ask you a question first. Can you answer it?"

Leige said.

"Ask away, as long as you tell me why I, with fifty thousand combat power, can't beat you with only eight thousand."

Savik said.

"Where did you get your scouters?"

Leige asked.

"They were sold to us by the Cold Force. Later, our boss discovered they had a listening function, so we stopped buying from them. The scouters we wear now were all built by Dr. Cain based on the Cold Force's designs."

Savik explained.

"So that's where they came from. Do your current scouters still have a listening function?"

Leige asked.

"Of course not. Our boss trusts us implicitly; why would he install a listening function in our gear?"

Savik said.

"I don't believe for a second that your scouters are free of surveillance."

Leige said.

"Believe what you want, just tell me already—why can someone with eight thousand combat power go toe-to-toe with me, when I have fifty thousand?"

Savik insisted.

"You really want to know?"

Leige asked.

"Tell me!"

Savik roared.

"I'm not telling you."

Leige said.

"You brat, how dare you play me! I'll kill you!"

Savik bellowed.

BOOM!

Savik fired a massive energy sphere at Leige, who swatted it away without hesitation.

"I'm going to tear you into pieces!"

Savik declared.

As soon as he finished speaking, Savik gathered energy into his palm to form a Ki Blade and slashed at Leige, who dodged the attacks.

"Death Beam!"

Seizing an opening, Leige fired an energy beam directly from his fingertip, piercing through Savik's heart.

"Bang!"

Leige flashed in front of Savik and punched him down to the ground.

"Mount Tai Press!"

"Bang!"

Leige descended rapidly from the sky, using his leg to snap Savik's neck upon impact.

"Boom!"

Leige followed up with another energy blast, ensuring Savik was dead beyond any doubt.

"Lord Savik!"

The Space Pirates brought by Savik cried out.

After their shouts, some of the pirates charged at Leige to avenge Savik, while others turned to flee back to their spaceship.

"Bang, bang, whoosh, whoosh."

Leige took out the pirates charging at him with punch after punch, while those attempting to escape were finished off by his Death Rays. Naturally, Hersi and his subordinates, who had come with Savik, were not spared either; Leige sent them to reunite with Savik.

"Xiao Bai, can you check the combat power of that guy named Dige?"

Leige asked the system in his mind.

"The system can only scan the opponent's combat power once you meet in person. However, Host, rest assured—there are very few in the universe with a combat power reaching one million. "You're the leader of the Space Pirates, Dige, that Savik mentioned?"

Leige asked, looking at the two-meter-tall, red-skinned man before him.

"That's right. And you must be Leige?"

Dige asked.

"Correct. I am the First Prince of the Saiyan race and the adopted son of Frieza, Leige," Leige replied.

"Did you kill Savik?"

Dige asked.

"And what if I did?"

Leige said.

"Beep, beep. Combat power: 8,000. It seems you've been hiding your true strength," Dige remarked.

Having roamed the universe for many years, Dige had encountered races capable of controlling their combat power.

"Did Hersi pay you a heavy price to come and kill us?"

Leige asked.

"Yes," Dige answered.

"Aren't you afraid that provoking the Frieza Force will bring total destruction upon you?"

Leige asked.

"We are currently working with Cooler. Cooler's strength is far greater than Frieza's," Dige said.

"If I were to kill you right now, could Cooler rush over to save you?"

Leige asked.

"Hmph! Don't think that just because you killed Savik, you can kill me. My combat power is ten times that of Savik's!"

Dige said.

"Ten times? Is your combat power fifty thousand?"

Leige asked.

"My combat power is fifty thousand. Are you scared yet?"

Dige asked.

"Hahaha, you must not understand the Saiyans."

Leige said.

"I know you Saiyans can transform into Great Apes, and after transforming, your combat power increases tenfold, but there is no full moon right now, so die!"

Dige said.

After Dige finished speaking, he threw a punch at Leige.

"Bang!"

Leige was sent flying dozens of meters away by Dige's punch. Once Leige steadied himself, "Bang, bang, boom!"

Dige used his left arm to fire an energy bomb at Leige.

"Wild-Bombardment!"

After swatting the energy bomb away, Leige quickly arrived in front of Dige and fired dozens of energy bombs at him.

"Boom!"

After the smoke cleared, an energy bomb flew toward Leige, who hurriedly dodged it.

"You look truly pathetic right now, hahaha."

Leige laughed as he looked at the battered Dige.

Leige had originally expected the "no smoke, no damage" trope, but he hadn't expected Dige to be in such a miserable state.

"Baka yarou, I will make you and this planet become cosmic dust!"

Dige roared.

After speaking, Dige raised his hands above his head, gathered a massive energy bomb, and hurled it toward the ground, intending to turn both Leige and Ice Flame Planet into dust.

"Return to sender!"

Leige shouted.

Leige moved beneath the energy bomb and pushed it directly back.

"Great Ape Fist!"

Leige rushed toward Dige, a phantom of a Great Ape appearing behind him.

"Pfft!"

Leige pierced straight through Dige's chest.

"Boom!"

Leige fired an energy blast from his hand, instantly reducing Dige to dust.

"Now I can wait for the base to come pick me up in peace."

Leige said.

Suddenly, a thought struck him, and he sprinted toward their spaceship.

"Holy crap, there's so much gold and space currency here! It looks like this was the loot Hersi gave Dige that he never got to take back. I'm rich! Hahaha!"

Leige exclaimed as he stared at the gold inside the ship.

"Host, would you like the system to store this gold and space currency in the System Space for you?"

Xiao Bai asked.

"I'll leave it to you."

Leige replied.

In just a few seconds, the system transferred all the gold and space currency into the System Space.

"Host, the System Space currently holds fifty thousand taels of gold, three hundred thousand space currency, one thousand gold coins, and twenty Senzu Beans," Xiao Bai prompted.
