"How long can you stay at home this time, Leige?"
Rossi asked.
Though she knew Leige wouldn't stay on Planet Vegeta for long, and that Frieza wouldn't allow him to stay for long either, she still wanted to know how long he could remain on Planet Vegeta.
"Mother, Frieza only gave me two months' leave. It took twenty days to get here from Frieza Planet No. 2, and it'll take another twenty days to return. I can only stay for twenty days before I have to go back to Frieza Planet No. 2."
Leige replied.
"Twenty days is still good. By the way, Leige, you haven't met Vegeta yet, have you?"
Rossi asked.
"I haven't met Vegeta yet, Mother."
Leige replied.
A year after Vegeta was born, Frieza had taken Leige away.
"Nappa, go call the second prince to the palace."
King Vegeta stepped out of the hall and called to Nappa outside.
"Yes, sir."
Nappa replied.
Then Nappa went to find Vegeta.
Five minutes later, at the training grounds.
"Thump! Thump!"
"Useless! You call yourselves intermediate warriors?"
A young Saiyan in the training grounds said after knocking down the two adult Saiyans who had been sparring with him.
"Second Prince, you're amazing!"
"Yeah. When I was your age, I was an Elite Warrior with a battle power of only seven or eight hundred. The second prince is only two years old, and his battle power is already three thousand."
"I wonder which of the two princes has the higher battle power."
The Saiyans around the young one said.
The young Saiyan was King Vegeta's second son, Vegeta.
"Your subordinate Nappa pays his respects to the second prince."
Nappa hurried to the training grounds and knelt before the young Saiyan.
"Nappa, what do you want? If you have nothing to say, get lost."
Vegeta said.
"Second Prince, the eldest prince has returned. The king and queen have asked me to bring you back to the palace."
Nappa said.
"Leige's back? What's that got to do with me? Nappa, tell Father and Mother I'm busy."
Vegeta said.
"Yes, sir."
Nappa replied.
Vegeta didn't want to go to the palace, and Nappa couldn't drag him there by force. If he angered Vegeta, Vegeta might kill him.
"Get me two more sparring partners with a battle power above three thousand!"
Vegeta shouted.
"Yes, sir."
The Saiyan beside Vegeta replied.
Five minutes later, in the palace hall.
"Your Majesty, this subordinate failed to bring back the second prince. Please punish me."
Nappa knelt and begged for forgiveness.
"Father, Vegeta is probably busy training. Nappa, you may leave."
Leige spoke up for Nappa.
"Get out."
King Vegeta said.
Nappa left the hall, making sure to give Leige a grateful look before he went.
"Father, I'll go get Vegeta myself."
Leige said.
"What if he refuses to come with you?"
King Vegeta asked.
"If Vegeta comes, I'll take it as a sign that he knows to respect his older brother. If he doesn't, I'll teach him what it means to respect his older brother."
Leige said.
If Vegeta refused to show him any respect, Leige would teach him a lesson.
"Go ahead. Take it easy, and don't kill him. There aren't many Elite Warriors among the Saiyans."
King Vegeta said.
"I understand, Father."
Leige replied.
Then Leige left the palace and went to the training grounds to find Vegeta.
Ten minutes later, at the training grounds.
"Thump! Thump! Boom!"
Vegeta was sparring with two Saiyans whose battle power was three thousand.
"Hold it."
Leige came up to Vegeta and the two Saiyans, then sent them flying apart with his ki.
"You're Leige?"
Vegeta asked, looking at the Saiyan before him, who resembled him in both face and hairstyle.
"Long time no see, Vegeta."
Leige said.
"Hmph. Don't interrupt my training."
Vegeta said.
"What's the point of picking on them? Don't you want to fight me?"
Leige asked.
"Fight you? Beep, beep. Your battle power's three thousand five hundred. I thought you'd reached four thousand, but you're only at three thousand five hundred."
Vegeta said after using his Scouter to measure Leige's battle power.
"Beep, beep. Your battle power's two thousand five hundred. Not bad. Too bad you're still no match for your big brother."
Leige said.
"Damn it!"
Vegeta snapped.
Then he charged at Leige.
"I won't go easy on you. I'll beat you so badly even Mother won't recognize you!"
Leige said.
Then he charged at Vegeta too.
"Bam!"
Leige and Vegeta's fists collided.
"Thump! Thump!"
Leige and Vegeta traded punches.
"Boom! Boom! Kaboom!"
They hurled energy blasts at each other, and the two blasts collided.
"Behind you!"
"Bam!"
Vegeta said.
Then he punched behind himself, but hit nothing.
"Idiot, I'm over here."
Leige said.
Leige suddenly appeared in front of Vegeta and punched him. Vegeta didn't react in time, and the blow sent him flying.
"Damn it!"
Vegeta roared.
"Boom!"
Vegeta threw an energy blast at Leige.
Leige smacked the energy blast away and rushed toward Vegeta.
"Thump."
"I hit you."
Vegeta said.
"Thump."
Vegeta suddenly punched behind himself, dispersing Leige.
"This one wasn't real either."
Vegeta said, watching Leige's image fade away.
"Clever."
Leige said.
"Bam!"
Leige punched Vegeta in the stomach, sending him flying twenty meters.
"How did you do that? Why couldn't I hit you either time?"
Vegeta asked after steadying himself.
"It's simple. I just switched the positions of my clone and my real body."
Leige said.
"So the first time, I hit your real body?"
Vegeta asked.
"No, no. You didn't hit me at all. I just sped up a little, making you think you'd hit me."
Leige said.
"You sped up just a little, and I couldn't even see you?"
Vegeta said.
"Clever."
"Boom!"
Leige suddenly appeared in front of Vegeta again and fired an energy blast point-blank. The blast sent Vegeta flying a great distance.
"Thump."
Leige caught up with Vegeta and punched him into the ground.
"Do you give up?"
Leige asked, looking at Vegeta.
"No! Again!"
Vegeta stubbornly replied.
"What's the point of going again? You're no match for me. If I weren't thinking of our brotherly bond, I'd have sent you to meet Yama already!"
Leige said.
"Hmph! Die!"
Vegeta shouted.
As soon as he finished, he fired an energy blast at Leige. Leige simply smacked it away.
"Thump."
Then Leige knocked Vegeta unconscious with a single punch.
"Take him to the medical room."
Leige said to the Saiyans nearby, looking at Vegeta, whom he had beaten within an inch of his life.
Two Saiyans carried the unconscious Vegeta to the medical room, and Leige returned to the palace.
Five minutes later, in the palace hall.
"I pay my respects to Father and Mother."
Leige knelt and bowed.
"Didn't Vegeta come with you?"
King Vegeta asked.
"Vegeta insisted on staying, so I beat him up. He's in the medical room now."
Leige said.
"As long as he's not dead."
King Vegeta said.
At six in the evening.
King Vegeta hosted a banquet for Zarbon, who had arrived with Leige. Vegeta, whose injuries had healed, attended as well.
"Lord Zarbon, my son hasn't caused King Frieza any trouble, has he?"
King Vegeta asked Zarbon.
"King Vegeta, His Majesty said that Prince Leige has the greatest natural talent of any Saiyan he's ever met. In the future, Prince Leige will surely become the strongest king in the history of the Saiyan race."
Zarbon said.

Vegeta said.
"Ah, ha!"
Vegeta began powering up, and Leige activated the Scouter he was wearing.
"Beep, beep. 2,800, 3,000, 3,500, 3,800... 7,500. Not bad. His battle power has tripled."
Leige said.
After saying this, Leige turned off the Scouter.
"Leige, prepare to die!"

Then Vegeta charged at Leige at high speed.
