Vegeta vs. Majin Buu

"Bang."

"Yaahhh!"

Provoked by Buu's look of contempt, Vegeta shot forward like an arrow released from a bow, leaving a sonic boom in his wake.

"Haaah!" Vegeta closed in on Buu rapidly, slamming a heavy punch into the creature's abdomen. The sheer force startled Buu, who quickly raised a hand to catch the fist.

A smirk curled onto Vegeta's lips. Before Buu could react, he delivered a sweeping kick that sent the creature flying like a kite with a broken string. Vegeta appeared above Buu as if teleporting, clasped his hands together, and hammered him down toward the ground.

"Boom!" Vegeta's terrifying strength smashed a massive crater into the earth, burying Buu deep within it.

Raising one hand with his fingers pressed together, Vegeta roared, "Big Bang Attack!" In the blink of an eye, a massive, deep-blue energy sphere formed in his palm and was launched, plunging into the crater and detonating with horrific power.

"Boom!"

A deafening roar echoed across the land, refusing to fade, causing the very world to tremble.

"My god, that power is truly terrifying," Son Goten said, patting his small chest. Vegeta's strength was not to be underestimated; even Son Goten himself couldn't fully withstand a Big Bang Attack like that. Vegeta was truly formidable—it was no wonder the man possessed such arrogant pride; it certainly wasn't without reason.

The Supreme Kai's jaw hit the floor. Damn it, if he's this overpowered, what chance do we gods have left? The Supreme Kai was practically ready to kneel before Vegeta.

"Haha, Dad won!" Trunks cheered excitedly, only to notice that everyone else still wore a grave expression—some even looked worse than before.

"What's wrong? Hasn't Buu been defeated... yet?" By the end of his sentence, Trunks' face had turned pale. He could clearly sense that Buu's energy hadn't diminished in the slightest.

Vegeta stared at the crater shrouded in dust and smoke with a grim expression. From the very beginning, Buu's energy hadn't weakened at all.

As the dust gradually settled, Buu's figure appeared before them. He looked wretched; his body wasn't even whole, with a gaping hole in his abdomen and his pants in tatters, looking like a displaced refugee. Yet, a confident smile still hung on his face.

"This guy... he really is a monster," Vegeta muttered, his face dark.

"Gurgle, gurgle." The wounded parts of Buu's body rippled, and the areas heavily damaged by Vegeta healed in the blink of an eye, his entire anatomy acting like modeling clay.

"Hee hee hee," Buu chuckled wickedly. With a "whoosh," he appeared before Vegeta and kicked him away while he was still dazed.

"Puh-wah!" Vegeta coughed up bile as he was sent flying, as if struck by a high-speed train. He smashed through several stone pillars before slamming into a rock wall.

"Dad!"

"Vegeta!"

Everyone shouted in alarm.

"Bang."

Buu condensed a basketball-sized purple energy sphere in his palm, which shot out and struck Vegeta.

"Argh!" Vegeta let out a pained cry as the sphere exploded against him. Blood streamed from his arms, and he looked utterly disheveled.

"Don't mess with me! I am Vegeta... I am... I am," Vegeta roared, veins bulging on his forehead, his face twisted in rage, "the Prince of all Saiyans!"

Vegeta let out a heaven-shaking cry. His aura surged wildly, boiling like water in a pot. The terrifying energy erupted, sweeping across the battlefield like a gale and shattering the stone wall behind him.

"Vegeta's power... it's increased again," Son Goku said, holding an arm up to shield himself, sensing that Vegeta's strength had climbed to another level.

Holy crap, he isn't going to transform into a Super Saiyan 3, is he? Son Goten crossed his arms, his mind racing. Vegeta hasn't reached that transformation in years—he can't just pull a Super Saiyan 3 out of thin air, can he?

The "M" mark on Vegeta's forehead glowed with a golden light. His energy was skyrocketing so violently that even Buu was stunned. What the hell? Is this what Saiyans do? If so, how the hell am I supposed to fight this?

"Whoosh." Although Vegeta hadn't undergone a further transformation, his power was now comparable to a Super Saiyan 3. Son Goku looked on in shock; if Vegeta had unleashed this power during their duel, he would have been pinned to the ground and beaten to a pulp if he hadn't gone Super Saiyan 3 himself.

"This power..." Vegeta looked at his own hands in astonishment. This strength, which transcended his limits, felt like the power he had tapped into when Babidi controlled him, but now it seemed even stronger. Vegeta touched the "M" on his forehead in disbelief.

"Heh... heh-haha... hahahahaha!" Vegeta went from a light chuckle to a laugh, and finally to a manic roar. This new power seemed to have restored his confidence. It had surpassed the limits of Super Saiyan 2, surpassing his former self.

"Buu, you are about to learn the price of underestimating this lord!" Vegeta pointed at Buu, brimming with spirit, his face radiating absolute confidence. He felt invincible, convinced that even Kakarot would be no match for him now.

Of course, Vegeta was unaware that Son Goku possessed a transformation beyond Super Saiyan 2: Super Saiyan 3.

Buu was already weighing his options. Vegeta's power was indeed trending toward surpassing his own, but he wasn't sure if Vegeta had any other tricks up his sleeve. He wondered if he should just absorb him...
