The World Is in Chaos

"Hahaha, baka, baka!" Buu still hadn't noticed that he hadn't changed at all. He wore the same smug expression, making no effort to hide his contempt for Son Goten.

"A brat's still a brat. What good is having all that power? I absorbed you, and now your strength is mine, hasn't it? Hahaha, baka!"

Buu hated Son Goten with a passion. The kid was always beating him to a pulp and looking down on him. But now the show-off had been absorbed by yours truly. The people are happy today, what a wonderful day~ ...Whoa, why did I start singing?

Buu, the formerly downtrodden who had turned the tables, decided it was time to celebrate. As for Son Gohan and the others, he was ignoring them for now.

"That guy's laugh is so annoying." Inside Buu, Son Goten clapped his hands over his ears. Buu's ridiculous grin made him want to whip out a forty-meter-long blade.

"But at least I managed to sneak in. Once I rescue Vegeta and the little chubby guy, Kid Buu won't be much of a threat." Son Goten withdrew the protective barrier with satisfaction, then let his senses spread out to search for Vegeta's energy.

"Hm?" A slight smile tugged at Son Goten's lips. Buu had still left them in the same place. That saved him the trouble of searching again.

After locating Vegeta's energy, Son Goten quickly flew in that direction.

"Strange. I changed a little every time I absorbed someone before. Why haven't I changed at all this time?" Buu looked himself over in confusion and saw nothing different. He soon dismissed the question. "Whatever. That arrogant brat's been absorbed by the great Buu. Now I'm the strongest in the world! Hahaha!"

This guy's intelligence was seriously lacking! Inside Buu, Son Goten couldn't believe the idiot hadn't realized he was the one who was supposed to be absorbed.

By then, the whole world had descended into chaos. Countless people who had died long ago came back to life, and everything was in disarray. Seeing that the situation had changed, Supreme Kai returned to the Supreme Kai Realm to observe what was happening. As for Buu, Son Gohan had already told him that Son Goten was fine, so he was relieved.

Frieza and Cell had both been revived, and there was no telling what other powerful fighters might return. Son Gohan and Trunks set off for other regions to investigate.

In the cities, countless tanks rolled mercilessly over cars. What was even more baffling was that the army's leader looked exactly like that damned Hitler. You've got to be kidding me. There were also horse-drawn carriages flying the Qing dynasty flag. Good grief.

In Hell, with no other choice, Son Goku attacked Janemba again and again, but none of his blows had any effect. He had now powered up to the max and transformed into Super Saiyan 3.

"You're the second person, after Majin Buu, to push me this far." Son Goku fixed Janemba with a cold stare and spoke coolly.

"Clap, clap, clap." Janemba clapped for no apparent reason, seeming to find Son Goku's transformations amusing.

"Ha!" Son Goku formed an energy sphere in his hand and hurled it at Janemba with all his might. The blast sent Janemba flying.

"Boom!"

"Crash!"

Son Goku punched Janemba into the ground, then roared and shot toward him like an arrow loosed from a bow.

"Haah!"

"Janemba!"

Power gathered in Son Goku's fist. He landed a punch that drove Janemba from the top of his head all the way down through his body. Janemba was like a lump of rubber as Son Goku slammed him down, burying his head deep inside his own body.

"Phew." Son Goku let out a breath and dispelled the aura around him.

"Kakarot."

"??"

"Boom!"

Someone suddenly called him by his Saiyan name from behind. Son Goku's expression changed, but before he could turn around, a powerful fist sent him flying.

Damn it, I let my guard down. I didn't expect anyone to be behind me. Son Goku stopped himself in midair, wiped the trail of blood from the corner of his mouth, and looked at his attacker in astonishment.

"Broly!"

That's right. It was none other than the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, whom the brothers had defeated not long ago. The upheaval in the underworld had brought him back to life, but instead of going to the mortal world, he had stayed in Hell. He happened to run into Son Goku and couldn't resist throwing a punch. He hadn't expected it to land.

"Damn, I didn't expect Broly to be here." Son Goku was drenched in sweat as he watched Broly warily, his face full of dread.

"Kakarot!" Broly roared and charged at Son Goku.

"Boom!"

Broly's attack was already upon him. Son Goku had no time to think and met Broly's fist, deflecting the blow.

"Kakarot!" When his first attack failed, Broly immediately launched another.

"Crash!"

"Crash!"

"Crash!"

Janemba, now transformed into something that looked a lot like Cell, saw Son Goku and Broly fighting and simply sat down to watch. Whenever they put on a good show, he even clapped to reward them. Being a spectator who shouted "666" was pretty nice, too.

"Ah, there you are." At last, Son Goten found Vegeta inside Buu and let out a faint smile. He casually pointed a finger, and an energy beam shot from its tip, freeing Vegeta from the egg-like cocoon around him.

"Whoosh."

With Vegeta's energy no longer feeding him, Buu instantly returned to normal. He stared at himself in confusion. What the hell, why did I change back? Vegeta was still... Damn it, I've been tricked!

As the truth dawned on him, Buu's face twisted with rage. What the hell! A grade-schooler had just insulted my intelligence. Damn it, there's no way I can let that slide.

Buu found a spot and sank his mind into his own body.

"All done." Son Goten set Vegeta down. Heh, Buu shouldn't be able to show off anymore, right? I'm almost impressed by my own intelligence. Hahahaha... Wait, I'm not Blackbeard. Why am I laughing like that?

"So it was you, Son Goten! You really weren't absorbed by me after all!" Buu burst out of the ground, furious, his anger threatening to explode.

"Well, what do you think? Surprised? Shocked? Happy?" Son Goten raised his eyebrows and taunted him without mercy.

"I'm gonna explode!" Buu fumed.
