Just then, Kangetsu opened his eyes and said lazily, "Dangerous? I don't feel any danger! Besides, you really are my big brother. Mother said so! Are you not sure? Should we go ask Mother, Uchiha Madara?"
Well! These two boys-or rather, little kids-were none other than Uchiha Kangetsu and Uchiha Madara!
Three years had passed since Kangetsu arrived in this world, and he was now three years old. Beside him stood Uchiha Madara, the man who would found Konoha together with Senju Hashirama of the Senju Clan, only to later spark the Fourth Shinobi World War!
Kangetsu had come from Earth and was the sole inheritor of the Killing Fist. He had arrived in the world of Naruto, but during the Warring States Period. Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama, the founders of Konoha, had yet to reach adulthood!
When Kangetsu learned that the Uchiha Madara before him was the Uchiha Madara of the future-and his own big brother-he had nearly been left speechless!
Fortunately, Kangetsu had his memories of the anime from his previous life, a tremendous treasure trove of knowledge. The Shadow Clone Technique he had just used was one such example. After all, that ninjutsu did not yet exist in the Warring States Period!
Kangetsu knew the Naruto anime inside out. He therefore also knew that Uchiha Madara had five brothers, one of whom was Uchiha Izuna. Of the other three brothers, aside from Uchiha Meigetsu, who had been born alongside him, there was only their deceased eldest brother, Uchiha Masatake.
Kangetsu stood up with a faint smile, then said to the still-young Uchiha Madara beside him, "All right, stop looking like an idiot. Tell me, what did you come to see me for? If it's nothing, don't interrupt my nap!"
With that, Kangetsu gave a small yawn!
Madara was utterly exasperated by Kangetsu's behavior, but there was nothing he could do about this little brother of his. He could only say, "Fine! Don't say I didn't tell you! Father wants to see you!"
Kangetsu paused, then gave Uchiha Madara a thoughtful look. An odd expression crossed his face as he asked, "What does Father want with me? And is he only asking for me?"
Uchiha Madara shook his head, looking somewhat serious. "Not just you. All four of us brothers. Meigetsu and Izuna are already with Father. You're the only one left, so Father sent me to get you!"
Kangetsu nodded with a slightly serious expression. "Got it. All right, then! Madara, let's go now!"
With that, he leaped up and ran deeper into the forest. Uchiha Madara clenched his fists and shouted, "You little bastard! Call me big brother! I'm your big brother, so don't call me by my name. Do you hear me, you rotten brat?!"
But as he watched Kangetsu leave, Madara smiled faintly and thought, This really feels nice! Having a little brother feels so nice. Is this how our eldest brother felt back then?
With that thought, he leaped up and chased after Kangetsu!
Uchiha Madara soon caught up with Kangetsu. Looking at him, he said, "Kangetsu, you can speed up now. Don't keep Father waiting!"
With that, he accelerated, moving even faster. But the corners of Kangetsu's mouth lifted slightly as he thought, You've still got a long way to go if you want to compete with me in speed!
