"Demon King Piccolo's situation isn't looking good. Does he know how to suppress his ki?" Vegeta asked urgently.

"I don't think so." The Guardian shook his head. Suppressing ki was something he had only just developed recently, and since Piccolo had only just been released, it was perfectly normal for him not to know how.

This is bad! Vegeta's heart sank.

It wasn't that he was worried about Piccolo's safety, but if Piccolo died, the Guardian—who shared the same life force—would not be spared either.

If the Guardian died, the Dragon Balls would vanish, and his wish would go up in smoke.

Vegeta quickly began to formulate a strategy to deal with the enemy.

"Tell Piccolo he's in trouble and see if he has any ideas," Vegeta suggested.

"I've already told him. He said he'd hide for now," the Guardian muttered.

"Hiding is useless! They have Scouters. As long as you can't suppress your ki, it's easy for them to track your location," Vegeta barked angrily.

"What do you suggest we do then?" The Guardian was at a loss.

"Ask Piccolo if he's dug up the Dragon Balls yet," Vegeta asked again.

The Guardian fell silent, clearly communicating with Piccolo telepathically. Soon, he shook his head, signaling that the Dragon Balls were still in their original location.

"Fine. Tell Piccolo not to touch the Dragon Balls yet. Tell him to find a place to hide and stay put—he must not show himself." As Vegeta spoke, his aura suddenly surged, the sheer power nearly blowing the Guardian away.

"Beep! Beep!"

Ginyu and the other three, who were currently heading toward Piccolo's location, suddenly stopped in their tracks. Vegeta's massive aura had naturally been picked up by their Scouters.

"Vegeta, power level: 60,000!"

Seeing the reading on the Scouter, Jeice and Recoome felt their scalps tingle.

"Captain, is the Scouter malfunctioning? How could Vegeta's power level possibly reach 60,000?" Jeice found the fact hard to believe.

Captain Ginyu was stunned for a moment, then chuckled. "It's not a malfunction. He wiped out Burter with ease, which proves this power level is accurate. Hmph, this Saiyan is truly something else. No wonder Lord Frieza specifically ordered us to bring him back."

"Captain, why would he raise his power level so high?" Jeice asked, confused.

"I'm not sure." Ginyu shook his head. After a brief silence, he seemed to realize something and shouted to his subordinates, "Keep a close eye on the sky! Watch out for that brat creating a full moon!"

At these words, Jeice and the others braced themselves, stopping in their tracks to watch every movement in the sky.

Sure enough, after about three minutes, a beam of intense light shot into the sky, emitting a scorching glow that looked just like a full moon hanging in the air.

"Blast it to pieces!" Ginyu ordered loudly.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

Following a series of deafening explosions, the light was shattered into fragments, quickly dissipating into white smoke.

"Vegeta, what is the meaning of this?" the Guardian asked, puzzled.

Vegeta didn't answer the Guardian's question, instead asking one of his own: "Tell me, how long until the actual full moon?"

"The full moon? That's still a long way off," the Guardian replied.

"You're the Guardian of Earth. Don't you have a way to make the full moon appear early?" Vegeta asked again.

"I'm not sure." Ginyu shook his head. After a brief silence, he seemed to suddenly realize something and ordered his subordinates, "Keep a close watch on the sky! Be careful that this brat doesn't create a full moon!" Captain Ginyu shouted sternly.

As soon as these words were spoken, Jeice and the others braced themselves like they were facing a formidable enemy, hurriedly stopping in their tracks to monitor every movement in the sky.

Sure enough, after waiting for about three minutes, a beam of intense light shot into the sky, emitting scorching radiance as if a full moon were shining overhead.

"Hit him with everything you've got!" Ginyu ordered loudly.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Accompanied by a series of deafening explosions, the intense light was shattered to pieces, quickly emitting white smoke.

"Vegeta, what is the meaning of this?" the Guardian asked, somewhat puzzled.

"Let me ask you, how much longer until the full moon?" Vegeta did not answer the Guardian's question, but instead countered with one of his own.

"The full moon? It's still a long way off," the Guardian said.

"You are the Guardian of Earth; surely you have a way to make the full moon appear early?" Vegeta asked again.
