Jeice and the others nodded and sped toward Piccolo's location.
Vegeta was speechless. Ginyu really was persistent. He hadn't expected him to keep going after Piccolo.
Although Vegeta was flying a little faster than Ginyu and the others even while pulling the Guardian along, the problem was that they were much closer to Piccolo than he was.
"This is bad!" This time, Vegeta was completely out of options. If Piccolo was killed, all his plans would fall apart.
The Guardian let out a long sigh, his face turning miserable. "I can already sense that my life will soon come to an end. Vegeta, I'm afraid Shenron won't be able to appear and help you."
Vegeta glanced at the Guardian, gritted his teeth, and picked up speed.
After their race, Ginyu and his three companions finally reached Demon King Piccolo first.
Although Demon King Piccolo had been evading their pursuit, his power level was simply too low. In their eyes, he was utterly defenseless.
"Friend, you were the one speaking just now, weren't you?" Ginyu asked as he looked at Demon King Piccolo.
"What do you want?" Demon King Piccolo broke out in a cold sweat and took a fighting stance.
"Captain, he looks like a Namekian," Jeice interjected from the side.
"Oh? What's a Namekian doing on Earth? That's rather strange." Ginyu looked somewhat surprised.
"Captain, I heard that the Namekians' planet suffered a natural disaster, and many of them were sent to other planets. It's perfectly normal for him to have ended up on Earth." Jeice knew a little about Namek.
Ginyu nodded, clearly uninterested in what had happened to Namek. He smiled at Demon King Piccolo and asked, "Tell me, Vegeta said he'd show up in a while. What does he intend to do in the meantime?"
"We have a strange room here. One day outside is equal to a year inside, so Vegeta plans to train there," Piccolo said earnestly, struggling to calm himself.
Ginyu and the others froze at his words.
After a long silence, Ginyu finally looked at Piccolo with a smile. "You're lying! One day outside and a year inside? Heh, go find some fool who'll believe that!"
"I've told you everything. Believe it or don't!" Piccolo shook his head.
"I'll ask you one last time. What exactly is Vegeta planning to do?" Ginyu asked, his expression darkening.
Piccolo was so frustrated he nearly spat blood. Overcome with fury, he suddenly lashed out. A powerful storm erupted from his hands and swept straight toward Ginyu and the others as he shouted, "Earth is mine! I won't let you take over my Earth!"
Ginyu and the others roared with laughter, utterly ignoring Demon King Piccolo's attack.
Once the storm had passed, Ginyu and the others stood before Piccolo completely unscathed.
Sweat immediately poured off Piccolo. He trembled so badly he could barely stand.
"Earth is yours? That does have a nice ring to it." Ginyu rubbed his nose and smiled at Piccolo. Then his expression darkened, and he said coldly, "I'll give you one last chance. Tell me, what is Vegeta trying to do by stalling for time?"
"I already told you," Demon King Piccolo said with a smile. "He's training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber so he can find a way to defeat you."
At those words, Ginyu's expression turned extraordinarily grim. He stepped forward and seized Piccolo by the throat, sneering, "I gave you a chance, and you wasted it. Now you can die!"
With that, Ginyu hurled Piccolo into the distance.
Bang!
A brilliant beam of energy pierced Piccolo's chest. When he came into view again, a deep, bloody hole gaped in his chest-a horrifying sight.
