As the sky above Planet Vegeta became crowded with artificial moons, beams of Blutz Waves shot toward the surface.

"Y-yes, I understand, Zarbon-san!" Dodoria nodded and immediately issued the order: "Hurry, get the legionnaires on the ship out there! Stop these wild monkeys for me!"

While Dodoria scrambled to issue commands, Zarbon turned to the back, where Emperor Frieza sat in his small hover-pod. "Lord, it seems those Saiyans were well-prepared. I fear your plans have been leaked."

"Ohohoho! They are merely stinking monkeys. If they think this is enough to deal with me, they are far too naive!" Frieza laughed dismissively.

Even though a Saiyan's combat power increases tenfold after transforming into a Great Ape, they were still nowhere near a match for him, with his combat power of 530,000.

Frieza watched the situation unfold with a smile, completely unconcerned.

However, the proud Emperor of the Universe would soon have his face bruised by those very apes.

"Fr-Frieza-sama! Our main force has engaged the Saiyans! In the first wave of attacks, we lost 94% of our soldiers!"

A finger beam suddenly struck the head of the soldier reporting the news, blowing his skull to pieces.

Frieza gritted his teeth, suppressing his rage. "Tch! A bunch of useless trash!"

"Frieza-sama, a Saiyan's combat power increases tenfold when they transform. There are at least a hundred of them out there; even the Ginyu Force would find this a handful," Zarbon whispered a warning.

"I know! These damn monkeys... since that's how it is, I'll send them all to hell!" Frieza's smile faded. He rose up and flew directly out from the top of the ship.

"A bunch of wild monkeys—wouldn't it have been better to stay on Planet Vegeta and turn into stardust along with the planet? Why insist on becoming cosmic debris?"

A cruel arc curled at the corner of Frieza's mouth as his body drifted out of the ship, hovering in the vacuum of space.

Directly in front of him, the staggering legion of giant apes was about to reach him.

Frieza raised a finger, preparing to condense his energy, when suddenly...

"Frieza!"

A thunderous shout erupted behind him.

He turned his head to see a Saiyan who hadn't transformed, standing atop the hull of the spaceship.

That Saiyan was none other than Lin Chen!

While all the other Saiyans were transforming into Great Apes, Lin Chen had used their cover to sneak near Frieza's ship.

On Namek, Lin Chen hadn't just gained an increase in raw combat power. He had also fully mastered the Namekian art of ki control.
