Although he hoped these people would leave on their own, Kast was already prepared to fight at any moment.

Based on what Kast knew about Ginyu's personality from the original story, he was a completely ruthless man—powerful, fanatically loyal to Frieza, and determined to see things through no matter what it took.

Kast had no idea why Ginyu had come looking for him, but whatever the reason, it couldn't be good.

And, as Kast had suspected, the ship had indeed come here for him. Ginyu was on board.

In fact, Ginyu had already spotted him during his earlier travels.

Several hours earlier.

As Frieza's army grew, Frieza became dissatisfied with having a large regular army and began recruiting powerful individuals to form an elite personal squad.

That squad was the Ginyu Force, a super-specialized unit Frieza had handpicked from the finest warriors in the universe. Its members were Ginyu, Recoome, Jeice, Burter, and Guldo. Every one of them possessed tremendous fighting power, earning them the title of the best of the best.

As an elite special forces unit, the Ginyu Force had plenty of free time. Frieza rarely contacted them except in special circumstances, so they usually spent their time wandering around the universe.

But to live up to their reputation as elites, Ginyu, their captain, would sometimes take the squad out hunting. Their targets were powerful beings.

Was Ginyu after Kast for a hunt this time?

No.

As it turned out, Ginyu had targeted Kast by accident.

As the force grew, Ginyu, with little to do, began wandering through the universe.

During one of his journeys, however, his Scouter suddenly detected a powerful energy signature.

According to the Scouter, it had a power level of over 30,000!

Over 30,000 was no match for his teammates in the Ginyu Force, let alone his own power level of 120,000, but it was still not to be underestimated.

Curious, Ginyu immediately followed the energy signature. But strangely, before he could catch up or do anything, it vanished without a trace, as if it had never existed.

"What!" Ginyu stared at his Scouter in disbelief. He could hardly imagine that a living person could disappear into the void without a sound.

Curious, Ginyu went to the place where Kast's energy had disappeared. There, he spotted the planet before him.

With a strong hunch, Ginyu followed.

In the sky, Ginyu looked down at the planet and waved his hand. The ship's hatch opened at once, and a large number of warriors flew out.

"Send a message to the planet below. Tell them to hand over the person who came here earlier, or we'll destroy the planet."

Ginyu didn't care whether the people below knew what Kast looked like. His threat to destroy the planet was simply a way to force Kast to reveal himself.

And, truthfully, Ginyu didn't want to destroy the planet and kill its inhabitants. Someone who could conceal their energy was incredibly rare—in fact, he had never encountered anyone like that before.

Someone like that was a valuable talent. He couldn't just kill them.

As soon as the message went out, the whole planet erupted into an uproar.

"What is going on? Who are these people, and how dare they make such outrageous threats?" In a lavish palace, an old man with a golden scepter and ornate crown roared at the guards below him, his face full of rage.

The old man looked similar to an Earthling, but he wore a metal outfit and a red cape. His clothes were extravagantly decorated, with several glittering gemstones set into them.

"Guards! Send the entire force over there and drive those troublemakers away! If they refuse to leave, wipe them all out!"

At the king's command, one of the guards below hurriedly tried to stop him.

"Your Majesty, judging by their uniforms, they appear to belong to Frieza's army. Frieza and his people are no friends of ours. We can't afford to fight them."

A middle-aged man in silver metal clothing spoke up after the guard.

"That's right, Your Majesty. Please calm down and find out why they've come first."

"Frieza's army? Why have they come to our planet? We don't have any valuable resources here. Wait, they said someone came to our planet and they want us to hand that person over, didn't they?"

The old man first looked puzzled at his subordinate's answer, then suddenly seemed to realize something and hurriedly asked.

"Yes, Your Majesty," the guard replied respectfully. "They said someone came to our planet and demanded that we hand that person over. Your Majesty, we'd better do as they say. We should find the person who came here and give them to Frieza's army. Otherwise, they might actually destroy our planet."

"Has anyone entered our planet?" The old man turned to an adjutant beside him.

"Check whether anyone has arrived on our planet recently. Find that person, capture them, and send them to Frieza's army!"

Then the old man continued, "Tell Frieza's army to give us a little time. We'll find the person as soon as we can and send them over."

"Place the entire planet under lockdown. No one is allowed to leave from this moment on, not until we find that person!"

After the old man's orders were issued, Ginyu received a message from the planet.

"Lord Ginyu, Planet Dor has sent word. They're asking us to give them some time. They'll find the person soon and hand them over to us."

"Hmph! Do you think those useless fools can find that person?" Ginyu turned around with a cold snort.

"Have Dole Star broadcast a message across the planet. Tell that person to come out on their own, or I'll turn this planet into cosmic dust!"

This time, Ginyu wasn't joking. Kast's ability was rare, but if he couldn't make use of him, there was no point in letting him live. He might even become a threat.

After all, someone who could conceal their energy would make a terrifying assassin.

With the message spread, the entire planet was now under lockdown. Unable to replenish his supplies, Kast couldn't help but sigh.

"Looks like I can't stay hidden. What a shame. I wasn't planning to reveal myself this soon."

As he thought this, white flames began to surge around Kast, and he shot into the sky...
