"How, how is this possible!? I, I actually lost to this brat!"
Captain Ginyu, sent flying backward by the force of the energy blast that had pierced through his body, wore an expression of utter disbelief.
Feeling the intense agony in his abdomen, Ginyu touched the massive wound, then lifted his hand to see it covered in fresh, crimson blood.
"This! This! Pfft!"
Suddenly, overwhelmed by the searing pain, Ginyu couldn't hold back and spat out a mouthful of blood.
"Th-this brat, how, how could he possess such power! The scouter clearly showed his combat power was only 30,000! I! I!"
Suddenly, his throat grew hot.
"Ugh! Wah!" He couldn't help but vomit several more mouthfuls of blood.
Staring at the blood he had coughed up, Ginyu hurriedly clutched his abdominal wound, struggling to stabilize his body in mid-air.
"But, hehe, I'm not dead yet. I still have a chance."
Despite his critical injuries, the thought of his unique ability brought a faint smile to Ginyu's face.
"Is that so?"
Before Ginyu could make a move, a youthful voice echoed from behind him.
"What!!"
"Ah!!"
Before Ginyu could turn his head, a sharp, piercing pain erupted from his left arm.
With a crisp crack, Ginyu's left arm was twisted and deformed in Kast's grip, the sound of shattering bone accompanying the motion as it was forced behind his back.
"You have truly tenacious vitality, Ginyu. I didn't expect you to survive such a fatal wound."
Holding Ginyu's arm, Kast said calmly.
"I am well aware of your so-called chance, Ginyu, because I know your ability perfectly well!"
Leaning toward Ginyu's ear, he whispered.
"You possess the ability to swap bodies with others. Did you think I didn't know? But that ability of yours seems to require face-to-face contact to execute, doesn't it!"
"!"
"You!" Although Kast's voice was soft and youthful, Ginyu's expression changed drastically upon hearing this, his heart churning like a stormy sea.
How, how is this possible! Only Lord Frieza and a few of my teammates in the Ginyu Force knew about this. How could he know! Where did he find out!! Damn it, who leaked the information? Don't let me find out, or else...
As Ginyu pondered this, cold sweat began to pour down his face uncontrollably.
"You don't need to guess how I know."
As if reading Ginyu's thoughts, Kast interrupted him.
"You're going to hell anyway!"
With that, Kast pushed his left hand, which was pinning Ginyu's arm, forward while gathering an energy blast in his right palm.
"No! Wait! I beg you..." Turning to face the energy blast in Kast's hand, he began to plead in terror.
However, before Ginyu could finish, Kast pressed the energy sphere directly against his body.
"Vanish, Ginyu!"
"No!! Ah!!!!"
"BOOM!!"
A violent roar followed the scream. In a mere instant, Ginyu, caught in the contact of the energy sphere, was reduced to cosmic dust by the overwhelming power.
Everything happened so quickly that the Frieza Army soldiers only reacted after Ginyu had already been obliterated.
Seeing their captain destroyed, the Frieza Army descended into chaos.
"How! How is this possible? Someone actually defeated Captain Ginyu! And in just two moves!"
"This must be a dream! It has to be! Captain Ginyu couldn't have been defeated so easily!"
"Quick! Run! Get out of here! Now, immediately!"
"It's no use, that guy has already noticed us! Split up and run! Quick! Quick! Quick!!"
Watching the Frieza Army fall into disarray, Kast had no intention of letting them go. However, this ship was still useful; he couldn't just destroy it. Compared to his own, this was Ginyu's personal spacecraft, which had far superior functions and would save him the trouble of resupplying.
With this in mind, Kast slowly spread his arms, and an energy sphere began to gather between his hands.
"Go!"
He gently pushed the gathered energy sphere away, letting it leave his hands. Though it was no longer in his grasp, the sphere didn't fly off, instead hovering in mid-air.
Looking at the floating energy sphere, Kast smiled slightly.
"It's been a long time since I used this technique. I wonder if I've grown rusty."
This energy sphere was a skill Kast had learned in the Room of Spirit and Time, a type of homing attack that tracked its targets.
Although this technique had an astonishing range, its attack power was not particularly strong; compared to its reach, it seemed somewhat lacking. Of course, that was only relative. Now that Kast possessed a battle power of 5,000,000, even the weakest technique he unleashed was something no ordinary person could withstand.
However, the most important aspect was not the power of the technique, but its homing capability.
"1, 2, 3, 4... 7... 20. Twenty people in total, very good!"
Sensing the number of Frieza Army soldiers, Kast nodded, then raised his right hand.
"Snap!"
With the snap of his fingers, the energy sphere that had been hovering in mid-air instantly split into twenty small energy blasts, which streaked off rapidly in every direction.
Meanwhile, the fleeing Frieza Army soldiers were feeling relieved that Kast had not pursued them.
"Hey! How are you guys doing? Is that guy chasing you?"
Having fled for some time, the Frieza Army soldiers hiding in a concealed spot on the planet were communicating over the dedicated channel of their scouters.
"No, when I left, I saw that guy was still just standing there."
"Does that guy not care about us?"
"No!!"
Suddenly, a terrified voice cut into the channel.
"No! Run! Look at the sky! Ah!!! Static..."
Accompanied by a piercing scream, the sound of a scouter signal cutting out followed.
"The sky!?"
Hearing these words, the Frieza Army soldiers looked up at the sky in unison.
And the moment they looked up, the last thing that remained in their consciousness was a blinding white light...
"Very good, they've all been dealt with."
Sensing the disappearance of each individual ki, Kast slowly opened his eyes.
"Now, it's time to take care of other matters."
As he spoke, Kast looked down toward a magnificent building below...
