"My premonition was correct after all. Frieza has indeed done exactly as I expected."

Standing on the surface of Planet Vegeta, Kast watched the massive red energy sphere in the sky with an expression of unsurprised confirmation.

Yes, Kast had already arrived on Planet Vegeta. As for the Ginyu spaceship that Frieza was tracking, it would indeed take about three more minutes to arrive.

Fueled by intense rage, Bardock instantly shot into the sky, his right hand half-clenched, a white energy wave manifesting in his palm.

"I won't let you get away with this, Frieza! I will defeat you! And this strike will end it all!!"

With that, Bardock fired his energy wave.

"What!!"

Yet, the reality left Bardock exceptionally shocked! The shockwave he fired hit Frieza's energy sphere like a stone sinking into the ocean, failing to stir up even a ripple.

"Damn it!! Haa!!"

Letting out an angry roar, Bardock extended his left hand and fired another shockwave, which joined the previous one as they slammed into the energy sphere above.

But the gap in power was simply too great; even though Bardock exerted all his strength, the energy sphere Frieza had unleashed continued to descend steadily.

"Is this the end!?"

Looking at the energy sphere about to hit him, Bardock let out a bitter smile, but his eyes remained unwavering. His body floated in mid-air, as steady as a mountain, blocking the path of the energy sphere.

Just as the energy sphere was about to strike Bardock, a massive surge of power suddenly shot up from below and flooded into his body.

"This is!!?"

In an instant, Bardock felt a tremendous power surging within him. With no time to think, and in this critical moment, Bardock utilized this massive power to fire another energy wave. This time, the wave steadily halted Frieza's energy sphere in its tracks.

"Good!!"

Seeing the energy sphere brought to a stop, Bardock finally let out a sigh of relief. His eyes then turned resolute, and, drawing on the remaining momentum, he expanded the energy within his body once more.

"Get back!"

Raising both hands, with the aid of immense power, the energy sphere began to be pushed back bit by bit.

"Hah!"

Accompanied by a furious roar, the energy sphere was finally repelled.
