Making a Move

"Hello, you must be Bardock, right?"

"Yes."

He answered instinctively, then Bardock snapped back to reality.

"You are... a Saiyan?"

Looking at the newcomer's appearance, Bardock hesitated.

Before him stood a boy of about eight years old, with black hair and a delicate face, his bangs parted at the forehead. Most importantly, a tail was wrapped around his waist.

All these signs pointed to his identity as a Saiyan.

However, although he could sense the boy was a Saiyan, Bardock found it hard to believe that an eight-year-old could possess such strength.

One had to realize that when Bardock had been confronting Frieza just moments ago, he hadn't blinked for a single second, yet he hadn't sensed the slightest warning of this boy's arrival.

Even Frieza had been taken aback; it was truly unimaginable.

Watching the hesitant Bardock, the boy chuckled softly.

"What's wrong? What are you worried about? Have you forgotten that I was the one who helped you when you were resisting Frieza's energy sphere?"

"It was you!"

Hearing this, Bardock's eyes widened in shock.

"Of course it was me."

As he spoke, the boy walked slowly past Frieza and headed toward Bardock.

Frieza, watching the boy walk past him with such indifference—even ignoring him entirely—saw his expression turn incredibly grim. A massive surge of power erupted from within his body.

"You brat! That's enough!"

With that, Frieza flashed forward, throwing a punch at the boy's head.

Yet, to his astonishment, the moment the fist was about to strike, the boy seemed to turn transparent and vanished instantly from where he stood.

"What!!?"

Before Frieza could react, a tremendous force struck the back of his head.

"Thud!"

With the sound of a fist connecting with a skull, Frieza was sent flying without any chance to resist, crashing into a nearby earthen slope.

"How is this possible!!"

Watching the scene, the Saiyans who had gathered around were left stunned.

Could it really be him!?

Seeing what had transpired, Bardock couldn't help but think of the massive energy that had seeped into his body earlier. It seemed only this boy could possess such power.

"Are you alright, Bardock?"

At this moment, Gine arrived at Bardock's side.

"I'm fine. Tell me, did the Frieza Army not attack you?"

Bardock suddenly remembered something and asked hurriedly.

"No, we didn't see anyone from the Frieza Army."

Gine shook her head in response.

"How could that be? Could it be that!..."

Before Bardock could think it through, the boy had already strolled up to him.

Looking at the tall man before him, the boy smiled softly.

"My name is Kast. I admire you, Bardock. As a member of the proud warrior race, the Saiyans, you are a qualified fighter. But we'll have to save the small talk for later; I still need to drive that guy Frieza off this planet first."

Yes, the newcomer was indeed Kast. As it turned out, Kast had been hiding ever since Frieza arrived on Planet Vegeta, specifically to eliminate the members of the Ginyu Force so that no one else could interfere when he fought Frieza.

As for the rest of the Frieza Army, they had all been wiped out by Kast using a wide-range tracking energy blast.

That was why Gine and the others hadn't been pursued by the Frieza Army.

Arriving at the spot where Frieza had been knocked away, Kast said indifferently, "Come on out, Frieza. I know that attack didn't do much to you."

As he spoke, Kast threw a white energy blast into the earthen slope.

"Boom!"

With a deafening roar, the moment the explosion occurred, Kast saw a figure charge out from within.

"So you've come out, Frieza."

Seeing Frieza covered in dust, Kast smiled.

"You bastard!"

Veins bulged on his forehead as Frieza gritted his teeth, his voice dripping with hatred.

"How dare you! How dare you soil the body of Lord Frieza!"

With that, Frieza let out a thunderous roar.

"I will absolutely, absolutely never forgive you! You damn little monkey! To hell with your Super Saiyan!!"

Having said this, Frieza's speed surged instantly, and he vanished from the spot, leaving only an afterimage behind.

Beside him, Bardock's face was filled with shock! Because he had just heard a term that was beyond all imagination!
