As he watched Kast standing before him with an impassive expression, a sudden flash of insight crossed Bardock's mind. In an instant, he understood everything.
"So that's it. I finally understand why all of this happened. This is the reason!"
"Hmm? What reason, Bardock?"
Seeing Bardock talking to himself, a Saiyan standing beside him couldn't help asking in confusion.
Bardock glanced back at the Saiyan before him, his expression tinged with excitement.
"I finally know why Frieza wants to wipe out all of us Saiyans! And I understand why he was willing to do anything to destroy Planet Vegeta!"
The warrior beside him still didn't understand what Bardock meant and pressed him for an answer.
"So why is that?"
"Don't you understand?"
Bardock looked toward Kast, who was now fighting Frieza.
Watching the two of them clash, Bardock calmed his excitement and spoke seriously.
"Because that young man is the Super Saiyan Frieza has always feared!"
"W-what!?" The Saiyan beside him was stunned.
"The Legendary Super Saiyan!? That kid!? Sure, I admit he's powerful, but he's still far too weak to compare with the Legendary Super Saiyan. The Legendary Super Saiyan is supposed to have invincible power. If he were a Super Saiyan, he should be able to defeat Frieza with ease."
Seeing the man beside him hesitate, Bardock shook his head and continued.
"You're underestimating him. Do you think an ordinary kid could send Frieza flying with a single blow? This is only a fraction of his power. I can feel it—a tremendous force within him. I believe he's the Legendary Super Saiyan."
Bardock paused, then asked, "Besides, think about it. Why would Frieza suddenly decide to wipe out us Saiyans? He must have learned something about the Saiyans. And judging from what Frieza and the others said just now, I've come up with a few theories."
"Huh? What do you mean? Bardock, what did they say just now?"
Hearing Bardock's words, the man hurriedly pressed him for an answer.
Bardock turned away without replying and looked ahead, his expression serious.
"You'll find out soon enough. Stay alert and be ready to help at any moment."
With that, Bardock took a few steps to the side and assumed a fighting stance.
By now, Kast and Frieza had flown into the air. After Frieza had suddenly appeared beside him earlier, Kast had been ready. The moment Frieza attacked, Kast vanished from his spot at even greater speed.
In the blink of an eye, Kast struck the enraged Frieza and sent him flying into the sky.
Watching Frieza fly away, Kast took off after him.
Kast knew Frieza's true strength. He was still in his first form, with a battle power of only 530,000—no formidable opponent for Kast at the moment.
Even so, Kast didn't let his guard down. He faced Frieza with his full attention at all times.
As a result, no matter how furiously Frieza attacked, he couldn't even touch a hair on Kast's head.

As Frieza stared in shock, Kast shot out his left hand and seized Frieza's right arm.
"Give it everything you've got, Frieza. Otherwise, you'll never beat me."
As he spoke, Kast thrust out his right hand. Wrapped in powerful ki, it slammed into Frieza's face.
"Ha!"
A flash of light burst forth, and Frieza was sent flying by Kast's right fist.
"Whoosh!"
Kast vanished from his spot and, moving too fast for the naked eye to follow, appeared behind the Frieza he had just sent flying.
"Go!"
Kast drew his right leg back slightly, gathering strength, then kicked just as Frieza reached him.
Kast kicked Frieza through the air again and again as if he were a soccer ball. At last, he brought his hands together and unleashed a full-power ki blast at the flying Frieza.
"You bastard!"
A trace of blood at the corner of his mouth, Frieza watched Kast toy with him. Just as Kast's ki blast was about to hit, Frieza's body turned into a brilliant white ball of light and vanished.
"So you're finally going to use your full power."
Kast watched Frieza reappear below him, having dodged the attack, then slowly descended to the ground and spoke calmly.
"Hehehe. Kid, I admit I underestimated you. But you may not know the true power of King Frieza."
Frieza radiated an intense white light. His expression was ugly, but as the glow around him grew brighter, a savage grin began to spread across his face.
