Hearing what Laila said, Kast didn't argue.

Ever since his battle with Frieza, Kast had felt the shackles break. If he kept training now, he wouldn't encounter any more limits, and his strength would grow explosively during this period.

But Kast knew that wasn't the real reason Laila had let him go.

"You still haven't answered my earlier question. What do you mean by the Divine Realm?!"

Kast already had an inkling, but he still wanted to hear her say it herself.

"Hm? Don't interrupt me. I haven't finished talking."

"Where was I? Oh, right. I was saying that I wanted to find the strongest Warrior, and then I met you..."

As she spoke, Laila tried to pick up where she'd left off.

But Kast had already lost patience. He cut her off and repeated firmly,

"Answer my question first! We can talk about the rest later!"

"You!"

Looking at Kast, who had no sense of romance, Laila sighed and said helplessly,

"Fine, fine. I'll answer your question first."

"Oh, right. What was your question again? Let me think..."

As if she'd forgotten what Kast had asked, Laila suddenly touched her chin with her index finger, turned away, and pretended to ponder.

Watching Laila put on an act, Kast's eyes gradually began to glow green, and his hair started floating unnaturally upward. His fingers clenched into fists of their own accord, veins bulging on the backs of his hands. At that moment, Kast even wondered if, had he met her instead of Frieza earlier, he could have transformed into a Super Saiyan through sheer anger without needing to break through the limits of life and death.

Laila was still pretending to think. She slowly turned her gaze and caught sight of Kast, now seething with anger, from the corner of her eye. She suddenly chuckled and said,

"Haha, all right, I'll stop teasing you. I know you're asking what I mean by the Divine Realm, right?"

"Mm. Just as you suspected, I'm a God. You can call me the West Supreme Kai, but, well, that was a long time ago. You can just call me Laila now."

The West Supreme Kai, Laila, replied with a smile.

"That's it. Do you have any other questions?"

Laila kept smiling as she looked at Kast.

Though Kast had been somewhat prepared for it, hearing the truth from Laila still felt utterly unbelievable.

It was true that Supreme Kais existed in this universe. There were five of them: East, South, West, North, and the Great Supreme Kai. But according to his memories, all but the East Supreme Kai had either died fighting Majin Buu or been absorbed by him. The East Supreme Kai had survived only because he'd been too weak at the time and Majin Buu had merely wounded him. How could any of the others still be alive?

And as he recalled, the West Supreme Kai and the North Supreme Kai had been the first to go after Buu—and the first Supreme Kais to die.

What was going on?

Kast sank into thought.

"Hey, no more questions?"

Beside him, Laila grew a little impatient when Kast didn't respond for a long time.

Kast's thoughts were interrupted. He came back to himself and looked at Laila quietly.

"One last question. Why do you insist on using my blood to create a child?"

At Kast's question, Laila fell silent for a moment, then turned to look into the distance. As she turned, Kast saw hatred and fear in her eyes.

With her back to him, Laila's tone changed completely. She spoke with unmistakable anger.

"Because only the strongest Warrior born from you and me can help me get revenge!"

It was only one sentence, but Kast could feel the hatred in Laila's heart.

"So, will you give me a drop of your blood?"

Laila turned around, her face once again filled with smiles, and pressed Kast for an answer.

"...All right!"

After thinking for a while, Kast suddenly seemed to realize something. He raised his head and agreed to Laila's request.

"That's wonderful!"

Hearing Kast's answer, Laila looked delighted.

"Then come with me!"

"Come with you?"

Kast cut in.

"What do you mean? I can just give you a drop of blood. Why do I need to go anywhere with you?"

Laila rolled her eyes and said,

"Obviously! I don't need your blood right now. You're still growing, and your strength can still increase. I need blood from you at your peak, so of course you have to come with me to where I live and train hard. When the time is right, you can give me a drop of blood."

After speaking, she thought to herself, If I didn't need your blood later, I wouldn't have bothered talking to you this much. It would've been so much easier to just take it.

Kast was about to say something, but Laila seemed to know what he was thinking and spoke first.

"Don't tell me you'll come find me after you've gotten stronger. Honestly, it already took me a lot of time to find you in the first place, and I don't want to waste more time looking for you later. All right, since you've agreed, let's go."

Without waiting for Kast to answer, Laila grabbed his clothes, and they vanished from that part of the universe.
