Meanwhile, Kast had left the planet where he had lived for the past eight years and ventured into space.

His destination was a distant, unknown planet.

Kast had no idea what conditions were like on the planet, but he could sense a large number of powerful energy signatures there.

He had been eyeing this planet for some time. Ever since Laila had brought him to that planet, Kast had continued to train, growing stronger and increasingly sensitive to energy.

During one training session, he had expanded his senses across the surrounding universe and detected many inhabited planets.

The nearest one he sensed was this planet, making it a stepping stone—a launchpad—for Kast to reach his destination.

After all, Kast had neither a spaceship nor any coordinates. To reach his destination, he would first need to acquire a spaceship and coordinates.

As the strongest inhabited planet nearby, it was bound to have both.

So Kast had chosen it as his first destination.

Floating in space, Kast gauged the distance ahead. Even the nearest inhabited planet was incredibly far away.

"At full speed, it'll take about two months."

That was his estimate based on his current strength.

Then Kast took a small pouch from his clothes and opened it to check inside.

"One, two, three... twenty. I've still got twenty Senzu Beans. Looks like I'm running low, but I should have enough to make this trip."

Looking at the Senzu Beans in his hand, Kast thought silently. The jar he'd had back then now held only about twenty beans, even after he'd made sure to conserve them over the past eight years. Otherwise, he would have run out long ago.

Once he was ready, Kast tucked the Senzu Beans away and his expression turned serious.

"Ha!!"

With a sharp shout, yellow energy flared around Kast, surging fiercely around his body.

His appearance changed dramatically, too. His partially upright hair stood on end, with only a few bangs remaining as they were. His formerly black hair turned a brilliant gold, gleaming in the light of his energy.

Like his hair, Kast's eyebrows turned gold, while his black eyes became pale green. His gaze grew more resolute as well.

This was the Super Saiyan transformation!

Feeling the energy within him, Kast clenched his fist and nodded slightly.

"Let's go!"

As soon as he spoke, Kast shot away like a golden bolt of lightning, vanishing from sight. All that remained was a golden afterimage and a tiny golden speck in the distance.

Supreme Kai World.

After Laila explained how to deal with Majin Buu, Shin and Kibito Kai stood with their mouths agape, staring at her in utter shock.

"What's wrong with you two? Was I not clear enough?"

Seeing the two of them fall silent, Laila asked in confusion.

Her words brought Shin back to his senses. He looked at her in disbelief and asked, "Sister Laila, you weren't joking just now, were you?!"

"Joking?!"

Laila raised an eyebrow, displeased.

"Yes, West Supreme Kai."

Kibito Kai spoke up beside him.

"You said you'd found a solution because you'd found a mortal with incredible strength, and that he could completely destroy Buu?!"

"That's right! What about it?!"

Hearing Laila's answer, Kibito Kai replied incredulously, "Supreme Kai, it's not that I don't believe you, but this is simply too absurd. Think about it: Majin Buu was a being that even you five Supreme Kais couldn't handle! You're telling me a mere mortal can defeat him? I find that very hard to believe."

Shin chimed in, "That's right, Sister Laila. How could a mortal possibly stand a chance against Majin Buu? To be honest, I find it hard to believe too."

Seeing the disbelief on Shin and Kibito Kai's faces, Laila replied earnestly, "I'm telling you the truth. Don't think of him as an ordinary human. You have to remember, he defeated that Frieza fellow."

"Frieza?!"

Shin asked in confusion, "You mean that villain who rampages through the universe, conquering and destroying wherever he goes?"

"Yes."

Laila confirmed it.

Hearing her answer, Shin continued, "Frieza does have some strength, but he's still nowhere near our level. If my duty as a Supreme Kai to oversee creation didn't prevent me from acting against him directly, and if he weren't leaving the balance of the entire universe untouched, I would have destroyed him long ago."

Kibito chimed in as well. "But saying he can kill Buu just because he defeated Frieza seems like a bit of a stretch."

Hearing what the two of them said, Laila nodded and continued, "What if he defeated Frieza when he was eight years old?"
