Meanwhile, Kast had left the planet where he had lived for the past eight years and ventured out into the depths of space.

His destination was an unnamed planet in the distance.

It was an unknown world, and Kast had no idea what conditions were like inside, but he could sense a multitude of powerful energy signatures emanating from it.

This planet had not become his target overnight; ever since Laila had brought him to that previous world, Kast had been training incessantly. As his strength grew, so too did his ability to sense ki.

During one of his training sessions, Kast had projected his senses out into the surrounding cosmos, and it was then that he had detected many life-bearing planets.

Since this planet was the closest one he had sensed, it served as a stepping stone—a springboard for Kast's journey.

After all, Kast currently possessed neither a spaceship nor any navigational coordinates, so the only way to reach his true destination was to secure a ship and the necessary data.

As the strongest life-bearing planet in the vicinity, it was bound to have a spaceship and coordinates.

For this reason, Kast had chosen it as his first stop.

Floating in the vacuum of space, Kast gauged the distance to the far-off world; even for the closest life-bearing planet, the distance was no laughing matter.

"At full speed, it will take about two months."

This was the estimate based on his current strength and the distance he perceived.

Kast then reached into his tunic, pulled out a small pouch, and peeked inside.

"One, two, three... twenty. Only twenty Senzu Beans left. It seems I'm running low, but it should be enough to complete this trip."

Looking at the beans in his hand, Kast thought silently to himself. The jar he had once possessed was now down to these last twenty, and that was only because he had been frugal over the past eight years. Otherwise, they would have been gone long ago.

With his preparations complete, Kast tucked the Senzu Beans back into his tunic and steeled his expression.

"Haa!!"

With a sharp shout, a yellow aura suddenly erupted around Kast, surging and crackling violently.

His appearance underwent a drastic transformation: his hair, which usually stood half-up, spiked straight into the air, with only a few bangs remaining in place. Furthermore, his once jet-black hair turned a brilliant, dazzling gold, shimmering under the radiance of his ki.

Like his hair, his eyebrows also turned gold, and his dark pupils shifted to a pale green, his gaze becoming far more resolute.

This was the transformation of a Super Saiyan!

Feeling the energy coursing through his body, Kast clenched his fist and gave a slight nod.

"Let's go!"

With that, Kast instantly transformed into a golden bolt of lightning and vanished from the spot, leaving behind only a golden afterimage and a tiny, fading golden speck in the distance.

After Laila explained the method for dealing with Majin Buu, Shin and Kibito stood with their mouths agape, staring at her in utter shock.

"What is it? You two, was I not clear enough?"

Seeing their speechless expressions, Laila asked with a frown.

Spurred by Laila's words, Shin collected himself, his face filled with astonishment and disbelief.

"Sister Laila, you aren't joking about what you just said, are you?!"

"Joking!?"

Laila raised an eyebrow, clearly displeased.

"Indeed, West Supreme Kai."

Kibito spoke up from the side.

"You just said that the method you found involves a mortal—a mortal who possesses such immense power that he can completely annihilate Majin Buu?!"

"That's right! What of it!?"

Hearing Laila's confirmation, Kibito shook his head in disbelief.

"Supreme Kai, it is not that I do not trust you, but this is simply too absurd. Think about it carefully—Majin Buu is a being that even the five of you Supreme Kais could not handle! To tell me that a mere mortal could defeat such a creature is truly hard to believe."

Shin chimed in as well.

"Yes, Sister Laila, how could a mortal possibly be a match for Majin Buu? To be honest, I find it very difficult to believe as well."

Noticing the skepticism on the faces of Shin and Kibito, Laila said earnestly.

"I am speaking the truth. You must not think of him as an ordinary human; you should know that he is the one who defeated that fellow, Frieza."

"Frieza!?"

Shin asked, puzzled.

"You mean that wretch who wreaks havoc and conquers planets all across the universe?"

"Yes."

Laila gave a firm nod.

Hearing her confirmation, Shin continued.

"Frieza certainly has some strength, but he is far from being a match for us. If it weren't for the fact that my duties as a Supreme Kai prevent me from directly interfering with destruction, and the fact that he hasn't yet disrupted the balance of the entire universe, I would have wiped him out long ago."

Kibito, standing to the side, chimed in to continue.

"However, to say that he can kill Majin Buu just because he defeated Frieza—that seems a bit of a stretch."

Hearing their words, Laila nodded, then continued.

"What if I told you he defeated Frieza when he was only eight years old?"
