Namek!
In a secluded valley, a circular house stood out, looking completely out of place with its surroundings.
Inside, Bulma was enjoying a bubble bath in a porcelain tub, humming an unknown tune. Suddenly, a violent earthquake sent her into a panic. The intense shaking caused the tub to rock back and forth. Ignoring everything else, she scrambled up, cursing, "Damn it, what is wrong with this Namek? Earthquakes every few minutes. Can't even take a proper bath. Forget it, I'm done!"
Her graceful figure was as smooth and luminous as jade. Without clothing, she was even more breathtaking—a natural beauty, like a lotus rising from clear water. After drying off, she threw on a bath towel and headed toward the bedroom. Her elegant gait would have caused any man to suffer a nosebleed.
Little did she know, this wasn't the power of nature, but the result of the others' battle.
Over with Piccolo and the others, Zarbon had been beaten to a pulp, covered in wounds.
His ugly face, with its toad-like mouth, was even more swollen than before.
"Impossible, how is this possible! Your combat power was clearly low. After my transformation, I have a full 28,000 in combat power! How can I still lose to a mere Earthling like you!" Zarbon said to Krillin in terror.
"Even if your combat power is a bit higher than mine, you can't control your energy after transforming! It's obvious you don't transform often. Is it because you're ugly?" Krillin said, looking at the pale-faced Zarbon.
"Spare me, I'll tell you where the Dragon Balls are, just spare my life! I beg you!" Zarbon knelt, trembling and pleading.
Before he could finish, Piccolo raised his right arm, his index finger gathering a beam of energy. In an instant, it pierced through Zarbon's forehead. Zarbon's head exploded like a shattered watermelon, spilling ink-blue blood.
"Hmph, spare you? You killed so many of my people, and you still want to live..." Piccolo whispered coldly.
"Piccolo, why did you kill him! He was already begging for mercy!" Krillin said, dissatisfied.
"Shut up, you bald man. Have I been too nice to you lately? Does that make you think you can interfere in my affairs? Spare him? Who spared my people?" Piccolo glared at Krillin with murderous intent.
Krillin shuddered. He had forgotten that the man before him was the terrifying King Piccolo.
"Alright, Uncle Piccolo, don't be angry! Uncle Krillin didn't mean it!" Gohan said, trying to mediate.
"Hmph... hurry up and find the Dragon Balls! Don't waste time!" Hearing his godson's comfort, Piccolo couldn't be bothered to argue with Krillin anymore.
He crossed his arms and waited. Krillin and Gohan searched everywhere. In a spaceship, one of them opened the Dragon Radar. It clearly indicated they were right there, but they couldn't find them anywhere.
A flash of inspiration hit Piccolo. He looked at the spot where Frieza had been standing; the soil looked like it had been turned over. He sent a wave of invisible energy toward that area. After a slight cracking sound, five glowing Dragon Balls appeared.
"Hey, you two! Bring the One-Star and Two-Star balls over!" Piccolo shouted.
Hearing him, the two flew over, staring in astonishment at the five Dragon Balls in the pit.
"Uncle Piccolo, how did you know Frieza hid the Dragon Balls in the dirt?" Gohan asked.
"Hmph, look closely. The soil there is completely different from the surrounding ground—one side is dry, the other is moist!" Though proud, Piccolo always answered his godson's questions.
The three stood around the seven Dragon Balls.
"Uncle Piccolo, should we revive Uncle Tien Shinhan and the others first?" Gohan asked.
"Let them wait a bit longer. Vegeta has other plans! We'll revive them next time!" Piccolo said, then addressed the Dragon Balls: "Porunga, come forth, and grant my wish..."
He chanted in the Namekian language, which Gohan and Krillin couldn't understand.
The weather changed in an instant, thunder rolling. The clear, sunny sky slowly darkened. Thunder crashed, and lightning streaked across the horizon.
The seven Dragon Balls emitted a dazzling light. A massive wave of energy surged forth. Porunga appeared!
Piccolo and the others looked at Porunga, who was vastly different from Earth's Shenron. His body tapered from thin to thick, his shoulders were muscular, and he had a pair of black, conical horns. Along his spine ran a fin-like structure.
Krillin looked at the dragon, saying in terror, "How scary... Earth's Shenron is much cuter!"
"State your wishes. I can grant you three wishes!" Porunga's booming voice echoed.
"First wish, leave us six here, and move all the remaining Namekians to Earth!" Piccolo chanted.
"Very well, your first wish has been granted. Except for you five and Frieza, everyone else has been successfully transported to Earth!" the dragon said.
Bulma, who had just finished dressing, vanished instantly. The Grand Elder and the rest of the Namekians were also transported to Earth.
"Second wish, make Vegeta fifteen centimeters taller!" Piccolo said, feeling a bit embarrassed.
The dragon seemed slightly annoyed. To be summoned only to grant such a wish! But the rules didn't allow it to refuse, so it had to fulfill Piccolo's request.
"Very well, your wish has been granted! Vegeta has grown fifteen centimeters taller!" the dragon said.
On the other side of the battlefield, while waiting for Frieza to finish his transformation, Vegeta saw the sky darken and realized they had summoned the dragon. Suddenly, at a speed invisible to the naked eye, Vegeta's body shot up by fifteen centimeters, growing from 1.65 meters to 1.8 meters! His body proportions were flawless. Golden-ratio muscles rippled beneath his tight combat suit.
"Haha, finally taller. Now, my 69 with Bulma will be even more perfect!" Vegeta exclaimed excitedly.
What an evil thought! If the others knew, they might drown him in spit.
At this moment, Frieza had finished his transformation, skipping the second stage and going straight to the third. His miniature, exquisite, silver-white body appeared, accompanied by terrifying combat power.
He looked up, puzzled. "What's going on? Why has the sky darkened? I've been here for days and never noticed Namek having a night!"
He looked around and suddenly saw Porunga. His confusion turned into rage.
"Damn it, you actually summoned the dragon while I was transforming!" He charged toward Porunga with all his might.
Vegeta was still basking in the joy of his height increase and, caught off guard, let Frieza slip past.
Though Goku gave chase from behind, the current Frieza, even without using his full power, was not someone Goku could easily catch.
Piccolo and the others sensed a powerful, evil energy rushing toward them, and their hearts tightened.
Piccolo hurriedly stated his third wish.
"Give Vegeta the supernatural ability to recover his body like Majin Buu!"
"Grant me eternal youth and immortality..."
Frieza's roar followed his arrival as he addressed the Eternal Dragon.
"Very well, that is simple! Your wish has been granted. I am departing!"
The Eternal Dragon vanished into the Dragon Balls, and as the Grand Elder and the others departed, the seven Dragon Balls on the ground shot into the sky and disappeared.
Earth.
The seven Dragon Balls, now turned to stone, slammed heavily into the ground. The Grand Elder and the others had not expected the Eternal Dragon to follow them here.
Bulma, meanwhile, worried for Vegeta, fearing that something might have happened to them on Namek.
Back on the battlefield, Frieza watched the Dragon Balls vanish, his rage boiling over as he gnashed his teeth. His silver-white skin turned even paler—a sign of extreme fury.
"Fine, just fine! You actually dared to summon the Eternal Dragon behind my back! You all deserve to die for shattering my wish for immortality! I will make you suffer in ways too gruesome to behold, wailing in agony! Raaah..." Frieza could no longer contain his energy, which erupted from his entire body. His immense combat power sent Gohan and Krillin flying into the distance; after all, their combat strength was still far too weak.
Piccolo gritted his teeth, holding his ground. Although his combat power was not low at 20 million, the enraged Frieza's power was at least 60 million.
Vegeta and Goku arrived shortly after. Vegeta wore an indifferent expression, while Goku erupted with intense fighting spirit. The Saiyan blood for battle began to boil; he had not expected Frieza to be this strong.
He turned to Piccolo and said, "Piccolo, you are no match for him. Let me try first!"
"You all must die!" As Frieza spoke, he fired his signature technique, the Death Beam, toward Piccolo.
Piccolo had been about to argue with Goku, but he never expected Frieza to attack so suddenly. Caught off guard, the beam pierced his chest, and he collapsed to the ground, unable to rise.
In the distance, Gohan saw his godfather struck down and instantly erupted with power several times his usual strength, charging toward Frieza.
"You deserve to die! You actually killed Uncle Piccolo!"
In a flash, he appeared before Frieza, his small frame coiled as he delivered a kick to Frieza's chin. Frieza was sent flying backward by the sudden assault from Gohan.
